Didn't know what to do when a car blocked my driveway preventing me from leaving, so naturally I thought I would call a tow truck. The tech picked up and I explained that there was a car blocking my driveway and I needed to have it towed because I had to leave my house to go somewhere. The tech basically told me that that was stupid request because "where am I going to take it, I got no impound lot." After that he essentially lambasted me for calling, once again, not knowing that he required an impound lot and that "what does he want me to do? Huh?"
Utterly pathetic.
My car broke down on a busy street, trapping me inside. This company's roadside assistance team came out quickly and fixed my car. My day had been saved by their efficiency.
I'm an older single lady and was so scared when my tire blew on the highway at night. There driver made me feel safe and was very nice. He even followed me to make sure I got to home OK. I will be telling all my friends about them.
My car would not move after I was in a small collision. I was saved by this towing company, which also offered first-rate accident recovery services. Before taking my automobile to the repair facility, their staff made sure it was secure and safe. They were efficient and competent. Their degree of experience and customer service really pleased me. Five points!
Normally, i don't leave reviews but top Dogs Towing provided me with professional road side towing service. Driver was on time polite and answered all my questions.
I just wanted to leave a good review for Top Dogz Towing. They did an amazing job helping me during a flat tire in my driveway. I asked them if they could arrive in 20 less minutes. Surely enough they did!
I can’t say I had the best experience after my car upped and died coming back home from work, but Top Dogz made it at least tolerable. Unfortunately I couldn’t just leave the scene after they jumped my car b/c someone had rear ended me, but they directed traffic until the cops took down our information. Top dogs jumped my car quickly and helped me pull out. Very good and professional IMHO.
Five star feedback to Top Dogz towing who chased away a predatory tow truck from an accident with my daughter on Clanton near downtown. Stand-up dudes. Waited around with her until the police showed up.
Not the cheapest, but certainly the best. Learned this the hard way after hiring a fly-by-night towing service to remove an abandoned vehicle on our property. First service, “RAYS” left a huge track in my wife’s garden attempting to rope the vehicle out of a ditch / puddle on an easement. They were unable to do so and then expected me to pay $50 for the attempt. I called this service afterward, who actually asked the right questions up front, and brought the right equipment and truck to maneuver the truck onto the flatbed. As mentioned they were not cheap, but they got the job done correctly. And by the way Rays did not get their $50.
Leaving a review for Top Dogz Towing in Charlotte for a roadside assistance call. I have had triple-A for the longest time and when I actually needed them they punted and told me that all providers were “on call” for the next 2 hours! I called around and Top Dogz was one of only 2 providers to pick up the phone after 8PM on Saturday out of 7 towing services I’d called.Showed up in the timeframe promised and got me on my way for $100 – I hated paying it – but needed to get back home for my dog else he would tear up my couches. Long story short: I will be ditching triple-A today.
I cant recommend Top Dogz Towing enough for their continued help with their downtown towing services, particularly with illegal parking in the business district. They use a handful of well trained drivers who know how 2 deal with all types of customers. We saw a marked improvements in complaints from businesses. Very discrete and knowledgeable.
Top Dogz Towing was like the fourth company we called and, frankly, the only one that picked up. Showed up in 15 minutes, no fuss, and jumped the car. Tighten some harnesses under the hood so it wouldn’t happen again. I Would definitely be using there services again in the future
Car broke down and this company Top Dogs Towing Service :) pulled up shortly after. Thought it was a scam at first, but the driver actually knew the issue with my car. Within 5 minutes I was back on the road again, and told me the issue with the alternator. Didn’t charge me. Thanks for your help and advice.
Have to hand it to Top Dogz Towing for their help cleaning up a new property of over 12 scrapped cars. It was gnarly, hot, and buggy but the 2 truck drivers got it done in a day with no complaints. Not a bad price too!!
We have worked together on several projects, from creating unique microsites for particular campaigns to creating a brand-new website for our company. The group constantly meets my expectations with excellent results. Throughout, they have been incredibly helpful, open, and effective.
My family needed help with a dead battery and this towing service was the only company that was not A) rude and B) talked clearly on the phone. That is a very low bar, but apparently there isn’t another roadside assistance company in Charlotte that can master the basics of customer service other than top dogz towing company.
Not usually one to leave a review but JT at Top Dogz was a site for sore eyes when my car literally sputtered to a stop around 8PM near on I74. Luckily traffic had died down at that point, but I was sweating bullets with cars whizzing by. JT and a helper pulled in from of our truck and quickly hooked and pulled my car to the shoulder. Super friendly and calm the whole time, he called another tow truck to the scene to load the vehicle to a flat bed so he wouldn’t damage the truck. Charge wasn’t cheap, but reasonable considering the circumstances.
Wanted to leave a kind review for Billy at Top Dogz Towing. Helped my oldest boy when he got a flat and fender bender near UNC Charlotte. Super patient and worked with the cops so he could avoid a ticket.
Ramel and his boyfriend was very unprofessional to the point I had to call the police . they harassed the walmmarr shopper and her boyfriend because of where they were parked. The proceeding to tell me I had to pay an extra $59 to tow my car which was not stated when I paid my $80 over the phone . He argued with us the whole time , even when I tried to pay the $50 he stormed off and said he was refunding my money. I call the office and Debbie answered ; she seen no fault to what he had did or how he acted , she was very rude and unprofessional !!! I advise you guys to never use this service ! I will be going tomorrow to get a copy of my refund because they are not trust worthy!
Sorry to say I've needed a towing service 3 times over as many years and have used Top Dogz Towing all 3 times. The price is affordable, there's no hidden charges, and they show up on time. There might be a 4th or 5th so I have them on speed dial.
I called this company after my Jeep broke down in the middle of an exit ramp, the guy told me the price and said he would be there in about 45 minutes. After waiting an hour I called to ask how my longer it would be and after ringing several times he didn’t answer. So I waited another 20 minutes and called again and that time he cleared my call and sent me to voicemail and all calls I made after that were sent straight to voicemail! I also text him a couple times, once asking how much longer, then asking if he was coming. No reply!! My last text was to inform him I would call someone else and to thank him for wasting my time and not being professional enough to let me know he wasn’t coming!! I had to call another company and they were there in less than 10 minutes!! Terrible customer service and professionalism!! Do Not Use This Company!
Wanted to leave a good review for these fellas. The dispatcher, Daren, was so friendly and helpful even with the late hour. The tow truck driver was prompt and also friendly. I would recommend this company if you need a tow in Charlotte.
Called too dogz up to have a strangers vehicle removed from my driveway. The person that answered the phone was pleasent, said it would be no problem and it would be about 30-45 minutes before they got there. I called back an hour and a half later to check up and see if someone was still on the way, no answer so I left a voicemail. No call back in 30 minutes, so I called back again, this time my call was denied after 3 rings...called back...Same thing..it would ring a few times and then hang up. The y never showed up, called me or anything. I get that it's not public property so you probably don't give 2 craps. But don't lie to customers, be honest and if it's a job that you just don't see happening....tell the customer. Now I will never go to this company for any towing service, will never recommend them, and talk get these 2 stars. Only reason it's not 1 star, is because at least the guy I talked to was nice over the phone.
Got stranded at Lowes with my baby girl and started freaking out since we were in the cold snap here. The driver said he’d be there in 5 minutes and lo-and-behold he was. I’m not sure if I got lucky, but we were on the road within 10 minutes of placing the call. Terry was the driver. Not only was he fast, but he was super courteous and even helped us find a good repair place near my apartment. Highly recommend you call them in a jam. Thanks so much for your help!
I was out of country for work and called Top Dogz Towing after my girlfriend’s car wouldn’t start. Literally NO ONE would answer the phone after 8:00 except for this outfit. Quoted 45 minutes, and were there within ½ hour.
Top dogz towing service is the best. I’ve had to use them twice, and each time they’ve responded quickly and were able to communicate via texts as well. Super-friendly and had some experience / advice with some of the repair places in Charlotte, which I ended up using with success to repair a radiator issue.
