I was sitting in the truck and they put locks on the wheels and didn't tell me to move or anything. They attacked me like stray dogs. I hadn't been in the truck for more than fifty minutes. They are a mafia gang and they asked me for $1,500 to remove the restrictions. This is illegal and inhumane.

Hey I'm a truck driver myself and I have been reading some if these comments...I would like share my experience with this company because I have two... The first was at the travel Plaza in charlotte I parked my truck without reading the signs and had my friend pick me up. I was gone for 12 hours and when I returned my truck was gone. I called the number on the sign and spoke to Mr. Edward's he was very friendly and we talked and u explained my situation about not reading the signs and he let me get my truck back for half of what he charged everyone in these other reviews... The second was at the 7/11 I parked there and I signed in but I stayed for more then the 48 hour limit and I was booted.... I contacted Mr. Edward's and he remembered me from the impound and took the boot off for free.... Now what I wanted to get at was I made a mistake and didn't read the signs.... us truckers know there are towing companies looking for us to slip up and it's are job to read the signs and do our part so we don't get booted or towed.... Its called responsibility own it...I have nothing bad to say about this company at all very respectful man I spoke to and we all out here trying to feed and take care of our own.... Remember who is there when your truck breaks down and you need a tow..... Read the signs truck family....

These people are scum of the earth. My driver pulled up to a truckstop for 30 minute break went back into his sleeper, came out and found a chain around his drive tires. This company does not have insurance or the authority to operate a tow company in Charlotte, North Carolina. We filed a complaint with the attorney generals office and will report them to the IRS for refusing to provide W9 For requesting payments over $600 without proper documentation They pray on larger companies in hopes that they will just pay it without raising any issues. If anyone else has this issue, reach out to help raise civil action to put a stop to these morons. You booted my truck with my driver in it. That is against the law!!! Im not sure how your still in business but I know that the state legislature is working on a bill to put you out of business!! This company can not put a boot on your vehicle while the driver is In the vehicle. Call 7-11 corporate if this happens to you.

So I want to spread the word about this towing company that is scamming people out of anywhere from $1500 to $3000 the company is called NO MORE LOCKED DOORS 4800 North Graham is the 7-Eleven parking lot where they advertise free parking for two days—avoid it at all costs. they scam people out there honest hard working money. My son doesn’t want any money back or anything he says he will just take it as a loss and he learned his lesson. But the mama bear in me refuses to just let it be I would like to at least spread the word so that it doesn’t happen to anyone else cause it’s been going on for a while. My son parked and asked the guy who works there if it would be ok to park for the two days the signs outside said yes it’s free but sign this sheet on the desk and sign the other paperwork on the front door which he did then went to spend time with his kids for the weekend and went back to the truck stop on time, but the company where he was to drop his load off wasn’t going to be open until Monday morning which it is Sunday so he didn’t have to start driving for a few hours so he went in the building to ask the guy who was working that day if he could stay longer cause his load wasn’t ready to be dropped off the employee said sure just resign this paperwork on the desk and resign the paperwork on the front door. Then he went to the truck and sat in his truck took a short nap got up and happened to see the boot on his truck and was like WTH so he called the company and asked the guy who answered which was the owner why would there be a boot on his truck when he asked the employee earlier if it was ok to stay longer he said yes just resign the two paperwork so the owner says go inside and let me talk to him as he is walking to the building another young guy walks up and ask him what’s going on which is the owners son. My son said I needed to talk to the guy who told me it was ok to stay as long as I resigned the paperwork then the young guy says I don’t know why you looking for him you still gonna have to pay the $1500 because you have to drive out of the parking lot then come back then resign both the paperwork now my son been sitting in the truck and said so why didn’t you just knock on the door and tell me to leave. The dad told him to call the man that told him to resign and that he should be good when he calls the guy the owner asks what did you tell this guy about parking the guy on the phone flips his whole story he says I told him he has to leave for twenty-four hours then come back and resign both paperwork by that time my son was like ok whatever but then after that the dad hangs up and the son says hey man do this favor and I’ll pay you $100 back out of the money so he told his dad that the company only paid $1000 out of the $1500 and kept $400 and gave him $100 I said you should’ve told on him they are scamming people and he scamming his dad what sense does that make. I’m posting all the reviews of other people that been scammed out of this towing company either they need to be shut down or people need to stay clear from there. I know suing them probably won’t get anywhere but this is a start. They messed with the wrong son.

This “company”/people are nothing more than thieves. Our drivers stopped at a 7-Eleven 4800 N Graham St Charlotte NC to buy something and as soon as they (No More Locked Doors LLC Towing) saw the driver getting into the store they placed the boot. They proceed to call me and tell me in a very aggressive way that they placed the boot on the truck for unauthorized parking and that we needed to pay 1500 dlls. They threated me to charge 1000 dlls more if I did not pay them right away. Obviously this a deal the owner of the 7-Eleven and No More Locked Doors LLC Towing have.

To the question from the business: This is just my opinion, but you are engaged in predatory towing company practices that price gouges truckers. Truckers, generally, are idiots and if they can't read the signs then that's on them. What's on you is how much you charge. $300-$1000 seems reasonable, given that you essentially lock and unlock a steel cable. You're scamming people, and if you can prove otherwise through financial documentation showing why it costs $1500 or more to unlock a steel cable, then please post photos of said documents in a reply to this. Take your "by law we have every right" schtick elsewhere. Better yet, threaten to sue me for calling you out, which you have no grounds for. I welcome it, because unlike many of your victims, I can afford a counter suit to recoup all court costs and then some. Hopefully, your practices will get you sued into bankruptcy one day. 🙂 And, no, a response is not necessary. I'm pretty sure I covered your handful of possible lame responses. Update: Teach your PR person to use proper grammar and your company will come off as more professional. It'll still be a scam company, but it'll at least seem more professional. Also, every review on google is a personal opinion, I merely pointed that out as you seem to like to puff out your chest with threats of litigation when the people you rip off complain on here.

Terrible company and terrible people. Our driver has been parking in the same lot for 3+ years. We are well aware of the parking policies at this location. Driver went home to get things buttoned up for Hurricane Helene, but was delayed getting back to his truck from his home because of the horrific conditions and roads washed out. He called the fuel desk to let them know he was delayed and the clerk assured him these were crazy circumstances and there would be no action taken. He was literally 20 hours delayed. Not even a day. This company towed the truck and trailer. Demanded $10,000 for release, we refused and offered $1000, even though we don't feel that is warranted either. Talked to Scott at the No More Locked Doors LLC Towing yesterday and they want $15,000. These guys are just taking advantage mother nature and the circumstances that it caused. Our driver could not get back to his truck! They are bad people with evil hearts to do this instead of helping out a fellow neighbor. Pathetic operation. We have started legal action, not sure if we will get anywhere with NC case law, but we will try as it is about the principle at this point.

First of all this business is a bigger scam than beach front property in Arizona they lie and cheat their customers and most of us are hardworking truckers just trying to do our jobs. They illegally boot and tow trucks (no signs anywhere saying no parking) and charge over thousands of dollars to get your truck back or unbooted. Edit: since we're lying 🤥 on this review tonight. How about look at those other reviews you have and find you something safe to do hun

These guys illegal broke into our tuck, hotwired and drove it to a tow yard not realizing that our ELD was recording the whole trip. They then presented us with a fraudulent bill for $5000 towing services which were never used. These guys are going down, they just don't know it yet.

Robbed my poor driver 2 days ago . He couldn’t find space anywhere after midnight so he parked at some place ,went to sleep - 32 minutes later 2 African Americans knocked on his window ,woke him up and told him that he can’t park here ,to what He said ok no problem - I’m leaving now , they said O no ! You gotta pay us $1500 for parking here or we will call towing and you will end up paying $8000. My driver said I don’t have that much cash to which they said oh that’s not a problem - Zelle us ,driver said ok I screwed up so decided to pay the $1500 without even letting us “the office “ know . Wish it all ended there . He tried to send Zelle to them and it didn’t go thru ,they said ok let us give you another # so he tried to send them Zelle to another # ,that didn’t go thru (he tried twice ) they said let’s go to ATM (very stupid but he went ) took $500 out of ATM . Long story short all transactions went thru next day so driver end up paying $4000.00 Driver was so upset called me told me the story ,I found # of the owner called him ,explained the whole situation asked him so nicely to please return the $2500 extra that my driver paid - to which he said: yea let me check what happened there (kept saying that for 2 days ) ,but then just refused that he received anything extra ,and start making up stuff and playing dumb with us . Didn’t give my driver a receipt or anything ,basically they wanted to charge him $1500 for 32 minutes of parking there ,end up charging $4000 ,and wouldn’t refund anything . I just don’t get how can people be so evil and full of hate - will sell their soul to devil for a $$$. We live in horrible times ya’ll …

They booted truck ok fine asking for a receipt to prove truck was booted can’t get one what they are doing is illegal

They sneak around and keep looping around til they see you go to the bunk, they make you think it’s a random guy then without knocking they come and boot you. They are probably chickens and send a woman to do a man’s job, then if they’re caught they ask if you want commercial company.

Does anyone have their address? I'd like to file a complaint directly. Booting my truck while I'm inside and it's running. No knock. No proper signs.

This company, in our opinion, is predatory and unethical. Our driver parked in the 7/11 located at 4800 N Graham St in Charlotte. Our driver arrived and spots 1-7 were taken. They went inside and received permission from the employees that they could park in spot 8. They signed the sheet, only to wake up at 6am the next morning with a boot on their tractor. They went inside to ask the employees what the deal was and couldn't get a straight answer. We called the police, who showed up, and were able to confirm the employees gave our driver permission to park in spot 8. After the officer talked to the towing company, they still refused to move the boot and had the police call the owner of the store. The owner of the store then stated their employees gave our driver wrong information and shouldn't have given them permission. The owner of the store told police there wasn't anything he could do and we would have to pay to remove the boot. When we called the tow company, they threatened to tow us if we didn't pay. So then we were under duress and being threatened with additional charges, even after a police officer confirmed we were given permission. If the towing company was doing their job, they should be checking the sign-in sheet and asking the employees about any discrepancies. They do not own the business and are contracted, so THEY should be doing their due diligence. Then they could have knocked on our trucks door and ran them off for us being given wrong information. Regardless, charging $1500 for simply putting a cable through some tandems is excessive. They know they can't legally tow our truck with someone in it, which is why they boot the truck, and then charge whatever they want. They are not in any contract with us, and there is no law that prevents them from charging whatever they want to charge. We can fight it in court, but that cost attorney fees, which they know, which is why they charge as much as they can before it cost us more to fight it. On top of this, I had another trucking company reach out to them to ask what the cost would be to tow a tractor 10 miles. I was told it was $450 for the tractor and I got an official estimate in writing. Why did I ask this specific question? Because the sign they left on our window stated they booted the vehicle instead of towing it to save us money, and it just so happens their facility in Huntersville is 10 miles from this 7/11. So now we have proof they are lying because they are charging $1500 for BOOTING a unit, while only charging $450 to tow the same unit. They can claim the signage at 7/11 wasn't followed, but we had permission from the people who actually work at the facility, had a officer verify we had permission, and they still wouldn't budge. I've talked to NC Representative Laura Budd, and NC House Bill 1024 is working to prevent these type of businesses from exploiting a system that has no regulation currently.

I am extremely disappointed with No More Locked Doors LLC Towing. They employ intimidation strategies and extort money from their customers. A truck and trailer were towed over the weekend, and they demanded over $10,000 in fees. This is an outrageous and unethical practice. We are taking all necessary legal steps to address this issue and file a formal complaint against them. We hope to resolve this matter and have the company shut down legally by the end of this year or early next year, to protect future customers from such exploitation. Edit After Response: I am disappointed to hear your unprofessional response. You are aware of who we are and the specific incident in question. Our concerns stem from the unethical practices and intimidation strategies your company employs, which are detrimental to Class A CDL drivers. These are not false accusations and you know this especially from your review. For now, we sincerely hope that your company will address these serious issues and improve its code of ethics.

This predatory company is the worst and should be ran out of business with there practices. 7-Eleven should be boycotted as long as they allow this towing company to prey on the very same truck drivers that spend money with them. On May 28, 2024 I parked at the 7-eleven at 4800 N Graham street for the night. When I arrived around midnight I asked cashier did they still allow free parking. Cashier informed me that they do allow free parking, but then warned me that I should sign in their book and to make sure everything was right because they have a tow company that works their lot that will boot and tow you without warning and it will be expensive. After signing in to the book I went to the truck and went to sleep. Around 3 am someone knocked on my truck and woke me up. I rolled the window down and asked what was wrong. The individual that was standing there asked me did I sign into the book in the store. When I said yes, he said ok. This is when I noticed the cables in my mirror hanging off of my drive axles on my truck. I ask the guy did you boot me. He says “yes but since you signed in I’m going to take it off”. I could not sleep anymore that night. The free parking is not worth the hassle. They will boot you without even checking the book first to see if you have signed in. I can only imagine what would have happened if I had not been in the truck that night. That type of behavior is unacceptable from the towing company and from 7-eleven for allowing them to do it. These are the practices that you support every time you spend money at the 7- Eleven at 4800 N Graham Street in Charlotte, NC 28269.

Just like to let everyone know this morning Frank of No Lock Doors Towing LLC Came out to the location where my truck was booted , He Showed Compassion and Understanding there was a misunderstanding on behalf of the rules that are set in place for parking. I Explained my situation on how I just been unjustly towed and charged and absurd amount at another location he listened to me and showed compassion. I Thank Him For Being Reasonable to the Situation I can’t thank him enough for not charging me for my misunderstanding.

Predatory towing company who works for the 7/11 on Graham Street. Will charge 1500-2500 after they boot your truck while you are in it and have been parked for less than 30 minutes. No warning. Just a boot on the truck instantly. Will not provide a receipt for boot removal paid with an efs code 👎

Booted a truck that is in a marked parking space at a 7-eleven in Charlotte, NC. Charged $1500 to unboot. I do not recommend giving this company any business. They can say all they want about not following the rules of the parking lot, but charging $1500 is pathetic.

Just because I don't like scummy tow companies that pray on truck drivers. Companies like this always end up getting railed in court, This company is the future recipient of the A1 Memphis award... Edit: Since the owner is ignorant to A1 towing and thinks I'm confused I'll elaborate, A1 was a tow company in Memphis that got major press attention after they were exposed for scurting regulations on towing and using unethical methods to tow/boot. Their business got shut down. They used the same types of practices as this company. I'm saying No More Locked Doors is going down that same path and will end up like A1 did.

Worthless people sharking semi drivers…. Just shows how sorry they are…. Went in store to “check in” after 2 thugs spent 20 minutes watching me… came out and bam truck was booted with a cable….. worthless company…. Can’t get much sorrier than that..

You don’t even deserve this one star. My wife, son and I waited over 2.5 hrs for a tow after 12am. Every time we attempted to contact for updates on our service, we were either hung up on, received a vague response or the person who answered the phone fell asleep (we could hear the snores). Do the world a favor and just close up shop as you clearly can’t provide the one service you offer.

These folks are criminal! We were making a delivery to Holiday Inn this am beside Sams club in Kannapolis and got truck and trailer booted. $3000.00 ($1500.00 each) is absolutely insane!! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!

Set up a tow through a third party and received an ETA. Driver was late, I called to see if they were on the way. The gentleman that picked up had cartoons playing as background noise. Was told "10 minutes". Had to cancel and find another tow 2 hours later after they didn't show up, or return my calls.

🚫This Towing company is a nightmare on Elm Street!! They don't understand anything about hard working truck drivers that supplies America on a daily basis. When there's barely anywhere to park at night. So I parked my rig right behind another rig at the 7/11 which was in a homemade parking spot they let truckers park at. I arrived here Sunday at 10:56 pm 10/29/23 which I was NOT BLOCKING no fire hydrant no fuel island etc. I woke up that morning to see an Orange sticker that said warning so I'm like "nobody knocked on my door or anything" When I was about to take off my trailer was dragging! When I go look back of the trailer it's a big cable looped around my tandems! This towing company is really taking advantage of hard working, truck drivers that are just trying to get a couple hours of sleep. Plus the guy even told me out of his mouth that he drove, by around 2:00 am saw my truck then come back around 4:00 am when I simply asked him why you didn't knock on my window if it was that big of a deal. You didn't have a problem placing a warning sticker on my driver window? He told me "I didn't want to wake you up from sleeping! I'm like what type of common sense that makes, Ooo I forgot that's how u basically stole $1,500 dollars of my hard earned money all because that's the only way u can make money is by sneaking up on drivers while they're in their truck asleep to boot them! Then it be your own kind that's out to get you! You a brother like myself! Bro just take your time, the money will come what u doing isn't right! You are basically practicing bad business & the reviews you have speaks volumes themselves that's all I'm saying I hope this message helps my fellow truck drivers beware of this shady towing company!! fr fr😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

This company don't even deserve a zero, they booted my semi while I was at the delivery (Sam"s club)waiting to get unloaded, (no joke)saying I owe him 1500$ then the same location different day they come flying through the receiving door almost hit me and they didn't even stop. They are starting to making Sam's club very unsafe place to deliver.
