Horrible! They have thousands of cars sitting on there lot accumulating fees! They are greedy for money and wont even work with you to get your vehicle out! No compassion no humanity at all just money hungry!!
Kelly at the front desk is nasty yall need to remove her from the company. Yall have been around so long and have served the Charlotte are and done a good job.. but Kelly has a Nasty Attitude and y’all need to get rid of her she’s bad for business
Worst experience ever. Super rude,ignorant. Expensive. 2 lady’s that work in the front very rude. No patience and reeked of cigarettes. Takes a call in the middle of me speaking. Over all just not a good time. Avoid if you can.
Always there when you need them to be - If it's not immediately its first thing in the morning. Their additional services have helped my office out of some tight spots and quick turn arounds. 10/10
My 2013 MINI Cooper S Roadster was totaled on February the 8th. That was a very hard loss for me because she was my baby. Only a person who loves cars as much as I do really understands the loss of the vehicle. The day after the accident, I went to Larry Campbell's towing yard to gather my belongings from the vehicle and get the tags off the car. I do not remember his name, but a very kind gentleman came out and talked with me and could see how upset I was over this loss. I'm thankful to have walked away from this accident but it was very difficult to see my car in that condition. This gentleman showed so much kindness and empathy and did not make me feel stupid or unseen by how I felt concerning this loss. I am very grateful for his kindness and the words that he said to me that day. " I know it's hard to see your car in this condition but she did what she was supposed to do, she kept you safe " Thank you to that gentleman for seeing me and understanding what I was going through that day.
BEWARE AND DO NOT USE!!!! WOULD LOVE TO GIVE ZERO STARS. CAR WAS TOWED FROM ACCIDENT SCENE WITH CMPD PERMISSION AND PARTS WERE REMOVED FROM CAR BEFORE INSURANCE ADJUSTER WAS ABLE TO VIEW MAKING THE CAR VALUE LESS SINCE ITEMS WERE MISSING. EMAILED MULTIPLE TIMES WITH NO RESPONSE AND CAN CONFIRM THAT BY MY PHOTOS THAT SOMEONE ELSE WAS IN THE CAR AFTER THE ORIGINAL PHOTOS WERE TAKEN.
I needed my tire replaced and the manager was extremely unprofessional. She was yelling in my face to the point where her spit entered my mouth, I saw her leftover broccoli in her teeth, and if she didn't have bipedal legs I'd think she was my cat from her breath. The tow truck drivers are absolutely lovely though.
This was my first time dealing with a towing company and I have to say this one takes the cake. My son's vehicle was stolen and after the found it they had the car towed here. The first call I made to the shop was ok. Once the vehicle arrived here I called and my husband called and we were given different stories every time we called. The staff was truly not helpful and could careless about you vehicle or you. The vehicle was only at the tow yard for maybe a total of 2 hours from the time of pick up to the time it took us to get there and they charged $180.00. Was then informed that if the vehicle was there for 6 hours we would start acquiring storage fee of $35.00. If your car has to be towed please find somewhere else.
" BEWARE THEY WILL MILK YOU" and This company has no sympathy for you!!!! I'm a female that was stranded on 485 and their own tow truck broke down and couldn't go into reverse when they arrived and then had to wait an additional 2 hrs for them to come back with another tow truck and yet I gave this company a good Review and even paid them $500 to tow our commercial truck 5.7 miles to get it off the freeway with no deductible cost of their equipment breaking down on me when they arrived and my time promised.BUT after all that even when willing to pay a little extra I ASKED THEM TO MOVE IT FROM THE 1 PARKING SPACE TO ANOTHER ON THE SAME LOT AND THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD COST $500 MORE!!!! I am outraged and Will NEVER call 'Larry Campbell Towing" again....CALL HUNTER TOWING INSTEAD....This is wrong treatment, price gouging,blood sucking with no remorse!!! Pictures show the first two truck that broke down on us and then the 2nd truck I waited 2 hrs on and then the space it was dropped in and just asked to be moved to another parking space in same lot.
Called to make the business aware of a theft situation. In no way blamed them, in this situation a lot of different people have had their hands on the car and it could have been anyone. However I wanted to let them know just in case (if it were my business, I’d certainly want to know). The lady on the phone was extremely defensive, rude and treated me like I had done something wrong, when all I did was call to make them aware. In no way did I blame them lol. I couldn’t believe how disrespectful the conversation was
Car was stolen and towed so crime scene can dust for prints. They made us pay for our stolen car. So we basically paid this company to steal our car. Lady couldn't answer to why we had to pay when we didn't agree to any terms. $240 for our car to be stolen. Nice

I watched one of their tow trucks blow their horn and try to cut through traffic in the same way that emergency vehicles do, and then proceed to scrape and drag the car behind me in traffic last night, and he did not stop, fled the scene of the accident. Horrible drivers. The woman behind me was bawling, and had just paid off her car that they destroyed. I only have one picture and it’s mega blurry. Never give these people your business.
Beware! Agreed to tow us to our auto place of choice but instead towed to their lot. Only found out next day when told wasnt there.
They point blank tried to tell us we agreed to that verbally even police officer backed us up.. It’s just a way of charging 2 towing charges. Sad that city is using them. Call your own service or you will be sorry!
ZERO STARS. Horrible customer service. Literally waited over an hour just to get my car back and when I asked could I get a tow to my mechanic the lady said no because they had only 2 drivers. My mechanic shop was only 1.8 miles from their location and I seen 3 tow trucks pull out of their business after hearing her tell me that. HORRIBLE SERVICE! NO ONE SHOULD USE THIS BUSINESS EVER!
Was told a half hour wait (third company I’ve called and have been waiting over five hours in 30 degree weather) Hour later called her back, was put on hold then hung up on, was told by the woman “I’ve been trying to call you but we cannot do your tow” which is an absolute lie I was not even attempted to be reached. Don’t waste your time here, find somewhere else
0 Stars if I could, I'm not the type of person to write reviews but these are the worst people I've dealt with, in my opinion the office staff were very disrespectful to me, hanging up on me and when I gave them the same attitude I was receiving they said they couldn't release the car until the owner who was out of the country and had already sent an email saying to release it per THEIR request. the car had to stay there for extra 2 days, then they told the car owner I did not had any interest in the car and that I was ridiculous.
Absolutely abhorrent unprofessional and terrible customer service. Delivery truck and driver stuck on site at customer location for over 6 hours and they call to cancel because something else came up 20 minutes prior to the 6 hour mark. Very poor management. Very costly to my business and the other customers on that drivers route and they had not a care in the world about that. WOW! Come on Karma train...it's your turn. Larry you could have at least sent your brother Darrell or your other brother Darrell. smh
Excellent service and assistance throughout a difficult process. Our company vehicle was involved in a wreck and the report did not have the correct information on it. Instead of telling me I was out of luck they worked with us to verify everything and found the vehicle in their secure yard. While attempting to unload the tools and heavy items from the back they provided assistance with getting better access. Several trips to complete the process and they were helpful each time. Really appreciated their professionalism.

My car was stolen in South Carolina and they found it in North Carolina. The P.I. told me no charge to pick up my vehicle and just show up but Larry Campbell towing wanted $130. Very frustrating.
Not easy bringing your late 60 - something father to gather his belongings from his prized possession MB that you saw totalled for the first time. The lady in the front was very nice and accommodating & all of my father's things were in the vehicle and un touched. (My father is old school and is convinced tow truck drivers "go fishing" in the vehicles. The wreck was definitely not a great experience but these ppl did great with my Father and his vehicle. He wanted to give you guys "2 thumbs up" lol
One of your drivers decided that the best thing to do when a light turns green on a turning lane, is to automatically run over the median across opposite traffic lanes and then cut cars off that had the right of way and aren’t maniacs. The light stayed green through all this, no one was asleep at the green light. He only had 4 cars in front of him. I have the drivers plate numbers.
Had my car towed by them because I hit a deer. The staff there was amazing. They were so helpful and willing to help me any way they could. I will definitely use them again.

This place stole my prescription medication from my car. I went to back to get my car glove box wide open medication gone immiditly told front they said no one there would do that they have 36 camras owners refused to do anything didn't even review camras. My last review disappeared ? . Do not trust this place they steal things out of cars
My Friend got into an accident and had to get his car out. Friendly staff, even let him get some stuff out his car before they towed it home. Reasonable day by day price fix. Just harder to find at night.
They charged $100 for towing charge, and on the top of that $30 more for winch. They said it because their needed to winched my car onto their tow truck. So they assumed when they came to tow my car, I will drive my car onto their tow truck. If my car was drivable then I don't need their towing service.
Later on, they charged me $20 more for pullout. They said after they towed my car into one of the spots of their yard, then they decided to move my car to a different spot within their yard, and that costed me more money.
At the end, they said I own them total $190, and of course they said their credit card machine was down at that moment, and they only took cash. So we spent more time and gas to found my bank for providing cash to them.
They are a group of people of scam.
