Took my father's truck in for a wheel alignment. Only to be told that wheel bearings were bad and control arm needs to be replaced. Took it to another shop only to find out that both items were fine. Refused to honor a lifetime alignment policy on both times , even when I told them the vehicle is fine . Complained to the corporate only to have a call from the store manager who didnt care. Save yourself trouble and time go somewhere else
My fiance and I were driving through Kinston from Greenville when my low engine oil notification came on in my car. We pulled over and saw my car was leaking oil. At 6:30 pm, this Firestone was still open and a few miles away so we decided to head that way and get things checked out. There weren’t any service techs left but the guy working the front was kind enough to come check the oil level and see if he could tell what was going on. He added some oil so we could make it back to Greenville to figure out what was going on. Didn’t get the guys name but he saved us from having to get a tow truck which we appreciated tremendously!!
Great customer service. Parts ordered fast! Needed brakes today for the safety of my kids and I and they got right on it. They want to help and get the most affordable price so they have many deals going on.
Amazing experience at this tire shop. Was traveling and had a scare with a low tire. Stopped in at the Firestone in Kinston and the staff was very polite and welcoming. Took care of me and my family and we were back on the road quickly. Thank you
Wow such an awesome experience. I came in for a checkup on my KiA since it was shaking up. Had an employee Johnathan greet me with a smile and asked me what he could do for me. Very attentive and told me he would check it out and let me know. I Was skeptical and waiting for the worst. I didn't wait to long when he came back and gave me a detailed estimate with the damage the car actually picture with proof. I was devastated but Johnathan told me not to worry that he understood and if I wanted to I could apply for their card and could just put the total on it. It was easy and fast.I was approved right away with a credit amt that was more than the total of the car fix. This was a great experience and Johnathan made it very easy and comfortable will definitely return excellent customer service.
Robert and Hugh have always treated us fairly, they always have our best interest in hand. We are loyal customers because of these guys and the excellent service.
My experience with Firestone was very nice. The staff was so friendly and really understood me and my concern about my automobile. All my questions were answered. Also quick dependable service.To me they are the best.I would recommend Firestone to all my friends and family. So when you visit them you not just treated as a customer you’re treated like part of the family .
This used to be my go to spot for taking care of my cars. Guess that will no longer be the case…and I have spent a lot of money here!!
The last 3-4 times I’ve been here, I’ve been let down (particularly by the guy who I guess is supposed to be store manager now). They couldn’t even assist me with putting air in my tire once. I get it that staffing issues can create problems but getting that feeling that my business isn’t wanted is something totally different. Very disappointed!

I was with my friend visiting her mom in Kinston . We came all the way from Virginia , about a 4 hour drive . My friend got a flat tire . We had her car towed here to the West Vernon Firestone. I want to say , they were very professional ! John and his crew showed the highest standards of skill and behavior . They are respectful , reliable and clearly have a great deal of integrity. They recommended we don’t use the spare tire since we had over a 200 mile drive back . They were able to get a new tire on and get us back on the road in less than 1 hour ! We walked across the road to Taco Bell . By the time we finished eating and walked back , they were finished . I was very worried I wouldn’t get out of North Carolina until the next day but they got us back on the road so quickly ! I would recommend them without hesitation 10/10 Thank you very much! Theyre the best !
The best place to go, I felt very welcomed coming in to get my car fixed. As a woman is nerve racking going in to get your vehicle worked on, they explained everything very well. Treated me as though I was a sister to them, they worked fast and efficient super friendly. 5 out of 5 for sure!

In May I purchased new tires, got an alignment, replaced 2 struts, and got an oil change in a 2013 Yukon XL with 25x,xxx miles on it. Right at $2000 worth. They put 0w-30 oil in my high mileage vehicle. It ran fine getting it home. The next day I took it to run some errands and there was a decently loud knock coming from my engine. So I brought it home where it has been sitting until I could get a mechanic to take a look at it. I had a mechanic come pick it up from my home over the weekend and today he calls and tells me I need a new motor. Ya'll really put that oil in my vehicle knowing damn well it needed high mileage oil. There was nothing wrong with my car besides the two struts that I had yall replace.

Found them on evening of July 5th. Way over due inspection. Great guy said Sunday morning be here at 8. In tropical storm Chantal. Knocked to vehicles plus another customer in like 2 hours. Thanks a bunch! Great guys to chat with too.
They were very quick and able to get my car checked in a timely manner. Staff were very helpful when calling to confirm the appointment times. Very friendly. Needed to find out what was wrong wrong with my car's air conditioner and the staff at Firestone were able to diagnose the issue and gave me a quote for a repair.
I went in for a brake job. They failed to attach the brake sensor back on, and it was damaged by just letting it hang. ( see attached video from the dealer). I went to the dealer, and they found the sensor hanging. I went back and was only offered an apology. They said they were unable to source the part, so they couldn't fix it when they did the brakes. Very disappointed in the work and how my complaint was handled.
I took my car to this place on Thursday or Friday and paid $300 to have my AC fixed only for it to stop working over the weekend. I took it back today, and they call and tell me it will be an additional $800+ to get it fixed. They had my car for hours the first day and today only had it for a little over an hour before they called. How do you see something today you didn't see last week? I will never take another vehicle to this shop!! Let me also add I was told the price of the service was going to be $270 over the phone, and when I arrived to pay, they ran my card for $314. Shady!! Went in to get a complete vehicle inspection and an oil change and tire rotation. They did this and never told me about the tire I had, that they rotated to the front left of my car. This dis-service only cost me $208.57
I visited this location yesterday after ordering tires online for my Range Rover. The tires were delivered directly to this location. Everything was paid for up front. I worked with a manager named Tyler Howell. Tyler had some concerns with installing the tires on my Range Rover because the SUV has optional air bag suspension. Tyler’s only concern throughout this process was focused on “making sure to take care of the customer”. Tyler wanted to make sure he was providing me with the best service possible and he made several calls on my behalf to troubleshoot a solution for installing my tires. Not only did he find the solution he set an appointment for me same day at the Firestone in Goldsboro. (They were amazing by the way. Friendly service. Fast install. Quality work. He provided me with a future oil change because “it’s the right thing to do as our customer”. I have to be honest. It’s rare to find a business that cares this much. I didn’t buy the tires there. I wasn’t a repeat customer. He was very busy but he still made time to make sure that Firestone was represented with care, integrity, and genuine kindness. Experiences like this create customers for life. Firestone, send Tyler to the top. His team was top notch as well. Thank you all for turning a negative experience into a positive experience. Thank you for caring enough to be the solution for your customer. Tyler and his team deserve to be recognized. They have made a friend and customer that will bring more friends and customers.
