My go to shop. Always explain everything clearly and what I need. Honesty is their best attribute. They don't try and upsell anything. They tell you what is wrong and what they can do and a price range if you ask. Which I always do living paycheck to paycheck. Anything from check engine lights to engine swaps. Awesome people and fair prices. Way better than a lot of shops around! Will always be my mechanic!
Brought my vehicle here to get inspected and they really helped me out saved money getting a transmission with them then I would going through a dealership. Would recommend this company to friends and family!

Wife crashed her car. This company was called to get it, never disclosed storage fee or anything like that or even spoke to us before they towed it. The fee was like the price of a hotel night stay just to keep the car in their parking lot. Absolutely disgusting - even after I called them multiple times the info wasn't disclosed and EVENTUALLY they told me it was like almost $1,000 to get the destroyed car back. More than it's worth by the time I scrapped it and everything. I just wish they would have towed it to my house that's all they needed to do, but they were sneaky and basically stole our wrecked car.
I just said forget it gave him the title and my car.
Total my car and the police called them for a total,they took my car and stored without disclosing how much the daily storage fee cost and it was $45 a day!!!? When I wanted to bring it to my house after Christmas they said it would be about $1,200!? Outrageous the first time I called they said something like I should wait until the insurance comes which NEVER happened.So they basically stole my car.
After spending $2850 with Russ we had to spend another $250 with another mechanic to get it right. Would not ever use them again nor would I recommend their services. BTW what we paid was well over our quote.
Russ Auto Repair .. The service was excellent. Very professional and extremely courteous. He would be the first mechanic that I would call to work on my car. Exceptional work. I am very satisfied.
These guys are fantastic, I have been going to Russ for many years, even before he had the shop. Russ is one of the hardest worker people I have ever come across, fair, honest, and no BS. It’s not the Cary Auto Mall just good honest hardworking team who fix you car right the first time with no diagnosis fees, shop fees and the rest. I bring everything to Russ, and he works on everything. I’ve seen betters to high performance, to antiques being worked on there.
