It is always a treat and a delight to come back to this establishment. The service is fantastic, the drinks are fabulous (That Black Pepper Mule mmmm), and the food never misses. With all my visits there we tried the crab dip for the first time tonight and it was heavenly. Can't wait to come back, luckily I will be back next Thursday. I will always recommend this place!

Amanda & Ashley worked the bar tonight and there’s no one else I’d rather have fixing my drinks! Excellent service! Professional service! Friendly and respectful! And, y’all, the drinks (off-menu) they made for me were second to none one!

We recently had another delicious meal at Verdigris, we love the food and attention to service.

I have been here for a lovely lunch many times and it is always amazing. Shout out to Brianna for taking such good care of me.

Took forever to get the drinks we ordered and there were only eight other tables. Server was nice and kept apologizing for how long it was taking. Food was way over priced, $32 for chicken pasta. Do not recommend.

Good food mediocre service. I have to be seen to be welcomed. Not too bad I thought you would say. As one there said to me as it's going. It's got a good chief. Better than not bad. Thank you for your welcoming.

Had the steak, mashed potatoes, and brussels sprouts and it was delicious!! I had no idea I could love brussels sprouts so much but they were just as good as the steak! Will definitely come back.

We didn't make a reservation due to making a decision to go out for New Year's Eve last minute. Staff was so friendly and apologetic for not having a table but said we could set and be served at the bar. It was a wonderful experience. Husband and I enjoyed the football game between Duke and Arizona State. It made it even better that Duke won! I can't express how friendly, professional and efficient they were during service. The establishment was busy but we never packed for service. The live music was exceptional and a welcomed surprise. Our meal was exquisite. Everything thing was prepared beautifully and arrived hot. Dessert was to die for. If you have an opportunity to dine at this establishment you won't be disappointed.

Our first time eating here for lunch and it was delicious. My husband, I, and our 11 year old son all loved our food. Our server, Bryanna, was very pleasant and attentive. We had the Triple Grilled Cheese BLT - our fave, the Chicken Bacon Ranch flatbread, and the 1816 chicken sandwich. The Cookie Butter cheesecake is so good!! Thanks for a very nice lunch!

My wife and I dined here for our 40th anniversary, although we did not make a reservation we were able to be seated by a sweet red-headed girl at the front whom immediately greeted us with a warm welcome. Once we got to the table we were greeted by our server, Amanda. Amanda was the best waitress my wife and I have had in a very long time, she gave us the best recommendations for food and cocktails! She was very thorough, we never felt rushed and she made the entire dining experience worth every minute, we will request her service each time. I got the ribeye which was cooked to absolute perfection and my wife got the elk chop that our waitress recommended and it paired really well with the brussel sprouts that were also highly recommended. I will now be contacting Rasha Hughes for my business Christmas party because we could have not asked for better service! Everything about this place is absolutely phenomenal and we will be back very soon for more of that delicious cheesecake of the month!

Came in for a girls night. Disappointed. Service was not great. We were waited on by three different people over the course of our dinner. Water glasses sat empty until we flagged someone down twice. No vegetarian options on menu. I inquired and was told they could do a ravioli. I was served 6 plain ravioli with what looked like a bottle of olive oil dumped on it. Was shocked to see it cost $30. Checks were inaccurate when she brought the bill. My friend asked what the market price was on the filet before ordering. She ordered it, and when the check came, the amount was higher than the waitress told her. When questioned, she refused to honor said price. After spending $300 at our table, we were greeted with a 4% "fee" for using a credit card. Seemed very tacky for what is advertised as a fancy restaurant. This place needs to improve on etiquette and service to charge these prices. We don't mind paying for a nice meal but the experience was not what I expected. Probably won't be back here.

AMAZING food and service !!! Everyone was wonderful and lovely , food was better than expected , we live in New York but travel every year for camping and this will be a restaurant we stop at every time , shrimp and grits amazing , everything was beyond greatness update !! Came back and food was even better then the first time UPDATE CAME BACK AGAIN THIS SUMMER and everything was amazing , sad you guys are close on Monday and Tuesday ! Fish and grits amazing !! Everything is perfect and service was amazing our waiter was nice friendly and patience and the manager as well

Yall…. I didn’t have a great day, to be honest. Though I would try to treat myself to something nice and boy oh boy was I treated well. I needed a damn DRINK and the bar staff Amanda and Dana killed it!!!!!! The house whiskey and that aged ribeye ?……. Go!!! Take the drive!!!! It’s worth it!!!!

This place is the best! Have had dinner here several times. The scallops and risotto are amazing and so is the steak. Great appetizers as well, love the spicy crab dip and deviled eggs. They have some great precanned drinks you can also buy from the bar that are very tasty!

Love this hidden gem in the cute downtown of Oxford, NC! The dry aged rib eye with lobster tail was divine and the fish and grits were fantastic as were the deviled eggs with the crawfish— excellent cocktails made at their in-house distillery and first class wine list! Nice service and atmosphere too!

Found this gem just off I-85 while traveling - easy parking and absolutely worth the short detour. My wife's pork chop and my scallops were beautifully presented with flavors that exceeded expectations. The cabbage side dish reminded me of my grandmother's cooking, and incredibly, the chef came out to tell us it was his grandmother's recipe! The wait staff was exceptionally friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect for our date night. Southern cuisine done right in every way. If you're passing through or looking for an impressive dining experience, don't miss this place. We'll definitely return next time we're in the area. Whatever you do, DON'T skip dessert - your diet can wait until tomorrow!

This was my boyfriend & I’s second time visiting. Before we ordered our dinner, we were able to tour the brewery with the manager Timothy. He was very knowledgeable about all the products made & gave us a memorable experience for our romantic night. We ordered some items off the chefs choice menu. A surf & turf of salmon & 12 oz steak with crispy brussel sprouts & mashed potatoes for him & ravioli stuffed with lobster & crab in a creamy alfredo type sauce with capers & salmon roe for me. Everything was beyond delicious! Special thanks to our waitress Morgan who made our night extra special & also remembered that this was our second time visiting lol.

Enjoyed a phenomenal brunch today at Verdigris. This restaurant has such elegant decor and ambience. I was greeted warmly and promptly seated. I enjoyed the seasonal salad with mixed greens, cranberries, feta cheese, toasted pumpkin seeds, and a house made apple cinnamon vinaigrette. The vinaigrette accentuated the lovely dichotomy between the robust savoriness of the feta cheese against the sweet and tart edge of the cranberries. I also added a side of savory charred Brussels sprouts with a fine drizzle of honey and ham. My wife chose the bananas foster French toast. Candied pecans, maple syrup, and whipped cream coated the expertly crafted French toast and allowed for a sweet but filling treat for lunch. I always enjoy this restaurant more each time I visit. My compliments to the Chef and staff of this fine establishment. The food, the service, and atmosphere were all I could hope for.

Oh my goodness! Everything is spectacular! The service is outstanding. The oysters, omg! Chauterrier has amazing flavors and selections. Drinks are on point. Every entree we had was delicious. There is no , I said NO, skimping. The attention to detail on everything is amazing. If you go some elsewhere it's sub par! The staff is friendly and Chef Mark knows his stuff. Our go to spot now. A true Diamond! Tell them Mike K sent you!

Stopped in for brunch. Deviled eggs w ere perfect with an amazing attention to detail. Chick and waffle sliders are packed full of flavour. It’s obvious they make their dishes from scratch.

We had dinner here to celebrate our anniversary. Every dish we had was either very good or excellent. Addy was our server and she was a delight! She knew the menu and made great suggestions when we asked for advice. I had the steakhouse filet mignon. It was cooked to temp perfectly. The seasoning level was perfect and it was nearly fork tender. The steak fries could’ve been a touch more crispy, but that is my only suggestion for improvement. My husband had the pork chop and declared it to be “amazing.” I tasted the Brussels sprouts from his plate and I honestly need the recipe! Smoky and sweet with just a hint of spice. We had the creamy feta appetizer and it was an unexpected Mediterranean flavor explosion. Creamy, tart, and lemony that pared great with the warm pita triangles. Husband had the carrot cake for dessert—his favorite flavor but not mine. I had a bite and it was good. I regret not trying my favorite dessert, tiramisu, after I saw it being served to another table. But there’s always next time! We had a reservation but there were open tables throughout our service. Highly recommended and we will certainly be back.

Our 2nd visit here, 1st time we just popped in for a tasting. This time we were in town for a festival and wanted to stop by for brunch and pick up some shirts to take home with us. The food was amazing, all the staff were friendly and gave above and beyond great service. Tim, came over to make sure everything was good. The decor is beautiful and super clean. This is located in the heart of downtown Oxford with plenty of free parking. After eating take a stroll to visit other local businesses. Their spirits are tasty too, and you can buy bottles on Sunday cause it's a distillery. We will be back when we are in the area.

If visiting Oxford you must stop here. We did a tasting and then I got a Smores Old Fashioned. The manager Tim gave us a tour. Our bartender Ava was very helpful. We bought gin to take home.

Amazing food and atmosphere. My wife and I ate here and it was delicious. I had the duck breast and she ate the Chilean sea bass. Food was to die for. We are local and drive to Raleigh multiple times a week to get a better dining option. I’m so glad we stumbled onto this place. The cocktail menu was extensive and they have a great selection of bourbon if you are into bourbon. Hands down a must try place for great dinner and drinks.

Everything we ordered was spectacular! Service is friendly and readily available. The bar menu is creative and extensive. Definitely make reservations; the restaurant & bar stayed full while we were there.

Charming setting with great food at very reasonable price! Dishes were flavorful and plentiful. Heather was very courteous and friendly paying attention to every service details. The restaurant was busy but the food was promptly brought to us. Ample seating with parking on premises. Highly recommended

I highly recommend eating and drinking here! The food was amazing and the drinks were top notch. We ordered the deviled eggs and ahi tuna for an appetizer. The pimento cheese deviled eggs were unique and delicious. The ahi tuna was the best we ever had. It was seasoned very well and melted in your mouth. For our main course we had the pork chop and shrimp and grits. Both were absolutely delicious!!!! The staff were incredibly friendly! I am beyond excited that this place exist. Now I don’t have to drive all the way to Raleigh or Durham for delicious, high class meals.
