Got here 15 mins before they closed and they wasn't no one here and just needed a tire fixed ? and I have 2 kids with me... Now I don't know how to get home....
I'll tell yall what... Larry's Wheels and Tires is the place to go. They are so friendly, kind, respectful, and accept all who comes there. They are always on point with everything they do from working on your vehicle to just replacing or fixing tires. IF and I mean BIG IF something happens to be a default then all you gotta do is bring it back and they will fix it without ANY issue. So if you need your vehicle worked on or just some tires I recommend Larry's Wheels and Tires in Valdese, NC
Came in in the nick of time, quick in and out tire change. Willie helped find the correct tire, great price, and extremely hospitable. God bless people and establishments like this. Will be back.
Willie and Larry always helps me and my family out all the time. They even adhered to my sons special need abilities and always makes sure he’s comfortable before anything else ?? Never had a bad experience here and tires always last a very long time. We need more guys like this in our community ?
Absolutely not, 100% do not recommend and would only go here if I Absolutely had to and I mean ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO. Larry is never actually there and the 1 guy that is there acts like he can talk to u however he wants, he disrespected my wife and called her crazy and tried to sell her a tire for 50 while when I arrived bc she called me after there interaction he sold it to me for 30 and I ain't even bring up the fact I was her husband until after the price change for the exact same tire but even then we never received an apology and as he was actively disrespecting me I tried telling him that he can calm down and speak to me like a civilized human bc if he yelled at me or directed in insult to my wife one more time there would be an issue, and just BTW I asked him SEVERAL times to call his boss and he would just say "yall ain't worth his time", but after I stated he had 1 more time he said "ain't nun going to happen here or to me, I do what I want here" as he proceeded to lift the side of his shirt exposing a pistol on his side. Now I mean did it go way to far for what a tire!!! Absolutely and ik i wasn't completely in the right but a gun really to hell with there tires it's not worth getting shot. Karma will have its day with him as will it with me but yeah ? ABSOLUTELY NOT
I got 2 tires here two months ago. After noticing some vibrations on the highway, I took my car to another shop for balancing. That's when I am told my tires are from 2015. I spent $100 for 11 year old tires and now have to replace them for a long distance trip I need to make. If no star ratings were possible...
Went to this place for a couple tires and a plug on a few different occasions. First off, I checked the TP of one of the ones he put on and it was at 59 lbs. Idk what happened there. Idk why I went back. I had to get another tire after getting a nail stuck on the outside of the tread. I’ve been told it was probably there when they put the tire on because it wasn’t holding air and others have seen nails in their used pile. Turns out it was the wrong size and they didn’t balance any of them. That can cause transmission problems. My car was shaking while driving and that was why. At some point they slammed the wheel on and shattered my sensor. There are places around with very similar prices that do good work. Nicer tires. Best of all, the employees pay attention. My family and I will not be coming back and we were consistent customers.
If I wanted free stuff I would be calling. I gave you money and I regret it.
They put the wrong tires on my vehicle, charged me extra for tires I didn’t get, went back to get the right tires or money back they refused to do either one. Noticed that there new tires they’re selling have nails in them! Sorry service.
This place was great I come here alot and back again this place always shows you the tire your getting before you buy it they have always done that and if you don't like it they will find you another one ..good people and very fast service
You pay overpriced for cheap tires that were never namebrand. Also, every tire I’ve gotten goes flat by the third day doesn’t matter if you choose the cheap one or the expensive one. Avoid this place like the plague if you can.
The person here tried to charge us $50 and wanted cash for a used tire that was worn on one side. It was literally smooth on one side. We ended up paying $10 just to have our old tire put on.

It’s a Saturday, low tire pressure light comes on. As I look for somewhere to do the job, I see Larry’s. 4/5 stars, couldn’t be so bad, right?
I call in to make sure that they have time to look at it as I have work in 3 hours. They say no problem.
As I pull in, I go into the office to speak to someone. Wait for about 10 minutes and someone comes and asks what I need. I explained that I called and asked how long before they could get to me. She goes into the bay to ask, and the guy comes into the office and says “I don’t know how long, every time you ask me, it’s going to take me longer. Chill out”
Ok. I’ll just leave, no big deal.
As I’m in my car looking for a new shop, he comes to the window, apologizes, and says he can get me shortly.
Ok, maybe it’s just one of those days for him. No big deal.
I pull into the bay, and explain I need him to look for leaks. I either need a patch or air in the tires, no more. He immediately starts talking replacement, but I say no: patch or air fill, no more, and he agrees.
Takes the tires off and checks for leaks. No leak, just low air.
I see that he is filling the tires higher than normal. I ask what he’s putting the PSI to. He says the minimum he will put into the tire is 40, as anything lower is dangerous.
The cars recommended pressure is 32. I know this, but just incase I recently entered the twilight zone, I googled to double check. When I bring him the results of the search, he says that “anywhere that says you run a tire at 32 PSI is a gimmick” and he usually runs cars like mine at 45. 45??? Insane.
I can’t talk him out of it. It’s 40 PSI: any lower and he’s letting me leave with the car in “dangerous condition”.
Whatever. As stupid as it is, I’ll just take 5 PSI out myself when I leave.
Then, I ask how much I owe. He says 15$ a tire to check for leaks!! No patch no repair. Just looking at the tire and then putting too much air in it was going to cost me 30$. I say to him that that is super high, but he says anywhere else would charge more and I’m getting a deal. He asks if this is gonna be a problem.
Nope, not worth the hassle, I’ll just pay and never return.
Had to pull off to an Autozone to take the air out. I check and he’s got them over 45 PSI! Now THAT is dangerous!
I don’t know if it’s a tactic to sell more tires, or if he really thinks he’s right, or what.
Also didn’t put back the 2 valve caps on the back tires.
You can decide if you want to give this place a shot.
If your needing used tires DO NOT!!!!! I REPEAT DO NOT!!!!! Get tires from Larry’s used tires and wheels in Valdese nc!!!!! They are scammers they sold me a set of four tires that were dry rotted and cracked all the way around for $200 and when they jacked my car up they put the jack on the body instead of the lift point on the punch weld which bent and broke the side skirt making it pop out and when I said something about it they got pissy with me and tried to fix it with the wheel off they jacked it up higher and had it teater tottering on the jack and one wheel in neutral so it could have rolled off at any moment. They then dropped my wheel on its face and scratched it up after beating on it to get the busted tire off of it and they only tried to just take off 10 dollars for the damage they caused and after some arguing I walked out paying 160. But they then rushed me out the door and as soon as I pulled out I heard the tire scrubbing and within a mile drive home it destroyed the sidewall and the next day after noticing the cracks and dry rot I bought tires off of market place and took them up there to get a refund on the tires I got from them and have them swap the wheels I went and bought and they still tried charging me 80 bucks for a mount and balance on them and gave me no refund for the 160 on the tires they took back into there possession that had the dry rot so basically they ended up charging me 160 for a mount and balance on 4 rims after damaging my car and rim and this is the second time I’ve gotten dry rotted tires from them and the first time they gave me a Refund but now they don’t do refunds ?? But they take there tires back ???? I’m never taking my business there again and hopefully you don’t either and there were multiple witnesses of what happened
Awesome prices on some pretty decent used tires... 2 rear tires 205\75\r14 cost me $80 installed and balanced... Tires have roughly 3\4 of their original tread
Went there to get some tires; they had what I needed and didn’t over charge. Nice staff and great work ethic’s! Recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good tire for a great price!
What’s going on people? I believe I just found a perfect spot for used affordable tires. And
they come with a week warranty just in case a used tire is bad. So far so good the energy and the love there is on point. How prices are extremely high on everything including tires. Personally, that’s a winner for me. As long as they fix the problem I’m good and they do. So I give them five stars, especially dealing with the public. Most people are not good people expressing bad energy for everybody to hear. I will be going back for the great service. They’re truly old fashion. Now that’s 100
Went there today after calling multiple places. They had the tire I needed. All the guys were super friendly and sweet and treated me very well. They also informed me that the last mechanic who worked on my car had put the wrong size tire on my car. Then they showed me what they meant. Which is my there was a bubble on my tire. They got my tire fixed and matched perfectly. Will definitely be back. They fixed it in no time. I was in and out.
Friendly, courteous and quick service. Great selection. VERY reasonable price for the two used tires I bought plus rotation. I will definitely be coming back when it's time for new tires all around! In the meantime, I'll give them as much word-of-mouth advertising as possible!
