UPDATE :My car started falling apart 2 days after buying it. 1 brakes. 2 suspension . 3 radio .4 AC . I paid way more than I should because he assured me it was a good reliable vehicle. I learned my lesson .
Sold me a car for about $9500, it was a Lexus. Lied and said it runs great, come to find out, it has a very bad over heating clutch which caused the transmission to slip terribly. He had to have known this had an issue because the day after buying it, slipped uncontrollably. Had to get an entire new transmission, which alone, costed what the car was worth. Also had a bad alternator which caused me to break down on a main road. This salesperson will lie to your face. DONT BUY HERE!!!!!!
Bought an 01 Blazer from them in March or 2024. Typical used car salesman treatment with a lot of hidden issues. I've spent nearly as much in garage bills as I paid for the vehicle ($4k) to get it to the point it would pass vehicle inspection and be safe to drive in Virginia.
1 star because they make me choose that high, otherwise 0/5. I would but from ANY other dealership before returning here.
I went there to look at some cars and they didn't go with kbb value. All vehicles are overpriced. Every car they had I did a kbb on them. They over price their cars 2k or more then kbb.
Took my wife to look at a Ford Escape LTD. The glass upper portion of the lift gate would not stay up when you raised it. The 6 disc CD changer would not accept or play a CD. The salesman said they had cleaned the vehicle...but the interior was covered with dog hair and, when I lifted the hood, there was a mass quantity of brown leaves underneath. We were still considering purchasing the SUV...until we discovered that the door to the gas cap was jammed. Both the salesman and I could barely get our fingers in enough to pry it open...and it took some elbow grease to get it open. I asked him about fixing it since my wife would never be able to get in there and open it without breaking her fingernails. He said (and I quote)..."She can carry a screwdriver." Needless to say, we were done at that point.
Pastor or not all used car sales men are the same! they lie to your face and say it runs great.... smooth shifting transmission he says. i paid 8600 for a van i needed for work and after all the paper including being smart enough to get a warranty on this pos i left. not even 20 miles down the road transmission goes out, towes it back to his mechanic... more like a couple of guys in a shed and 16 days later i get it back, hearing all kinds of grinding noises, shaking and squeaking cant wait to get rid of this thing thanks alot! buy from a dealership at least they will steal your money and give you a reliable car!
Walter at East Valdese Motors was a pleasure to work with and I can say he is a man of his word! It’s hard to find a dealership anymore that stands behind their cars but he does and has proven it to me! I wouldn’t hesitate for one second to recommend Walter and East Valdese Motors to any of my friends or family!
Visited this place while it was closed. He has a GREAT selection of vehicles available. I would bring my own mechanic with me and let them check the car out before making a commitment to buy though as woth anywhere else as well.
Wonderful place to buy a car from, they will go out of their way to help you. When I'm making my payments it like talking with my family. Not 5 stars but 10!!
Nissan Pathfinder- I paid $1800 down for this same vehicle and $250 a month for about a year..I let the owner Walter Vinson know that i had lost my job and was going to attend CDL training school in MO. ""MR Vinson im going to be behind on my payments for awhile until i get out of school''.NO problem he said "You have benn a good customer''.When i returned being gone from Oct 29-Dec10,he said i was over $800 dollars behind on my payments. He ask me where had i been like i had never told him anything and he had even sent for my Pathfinder to be repossessed at school.I made payments when i returned and kept the Nissan,but after not paying like he wanted he had it repossessed any way..Right after Christmas and i have 3 kids..Now he has MY PATHFINDER CLEANED UP ON HIS LOT FOR $6000!!!!!! I really think he had this planned. Kick a guy when he's down.. PASTOR I DONT THINK SO,!!!BEWARE-MY TAX MONEY WAS GOING TO BE USED TO PAY THIS TRUCK OFF-NOW ITS FOR AN ATTORNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
