They might have a big chain store name but it's just our friendly neighborhood parts store. Joe, Joey, Mike or one of the other knowledgeable guys are always ready to help find the item or part you need. Store is always neat and clean.
Came here to get my car diagnosed and get some recommendations on what to do next. The guy working the counter took his time, ran the scan, and actually explained what the codes meant instead of just throwing parts at me. I didn’t feel rushed or talked down to, which I appreciated. He gave me a couple options on how to approach the repair depending on budget and urgency, not just the most expensive fix. The store was clean, parts were easy to find, and overall it felt like they genuinely wanted to help, not just make a quick sale. I’d come back here again if my car decides to act up.
I was so grateful for the very helpful gentleman at AutoZone this evening!! My car battery died on a very cold night, and I had a carload of kids, and my husband was out of town. Luckily, it died right next to AutoZone, and Ron came over and jumped it off for free - I can’t tell you how much that meant!
I came in for a replacement coolant bypass hose, which was not in stock, but the guy working there hooked me up with an extra hose they had in their shop for FREE. Very friendly. Great customer service!

I went to autozone 5/07/2023 and a gentleman named Joe Welsh Greeted me at the door I explained what was going on with a part in my car and he told me where I could find what I was actually looking for he came outside helped with it. Find the part for me in the store. He was very helpful especially since I was a little stressed. He was very Polite. I'm so glad that on this pouring down rain of my stressful moments Joe helped me thank you.
My elderly aunt and uncle were broke down straight across the street from your store we went and bought a caliper, hose, jug of brake fluid and we bought 3 torx bits from your store when my wife got back the torx bits were wrong size so I ask her to go replace with a T55 as she was walking through the parking lot your employees were locking the doors but watching my wife walk their way they locked the doors knowing full well she needed help but locked the doors anyway and told her they couldn’t help I think they just didn’t want to help us. This set off a chain of events where it ended up costing me a 1500 dollar phone (my fault but if your employees would have cared about helping wouldn’t have happened). I shop foreman and master certified tech and have literally driven 20 miles to open our shop to help a customer. So needless to say I will never shop Autozone again along with my extended family I was extremely disappointed in their actions. Looks like it’s Oreilys snd Advance for me
They are very kind and very helpful they didn't mind helping me replace my windshield wipers or helping me find out what was wrong with my engine thank you AutoZone
Best auto parts store in Valdese, the manager big Joey has always been so helpful and patient with me. Have done alot of custom builds of older cars and they have always helped figure out what will and wont work and if they dont they will point in the right direction. Great guys at the Valdese Auto Zone
The employees are always so helpful and knowledgeable. They go out of their way to make sure I get the parts that I need, or help figure out what I need!
One of the employees was very rude and disrespectful. Me being a woman he should have offered to help me with a radiator that i had to take back. He was outside when i pulled up and got out and got it out of my vehicle. In stead of him helping he chose to stand there and watch me. He could have opened the door but he chose to keep standing there til i got in the door then he came in an was still beimg rude. Instead of grabbing it out of my hand to help me sit it down he kept telling me to sit it down. First of all it was big and very awkward to carry much less sit down fast without dropping it. Thank god i had my 12 year old daughter with me to open the door for me and hold the door for me. Plus when i got the new one he didnt offer to help carry it out to my car. So i will not be back to valdese autozone again due to a rude employee. I felt belittled the way he spoke to me and treated me.
Went there thought I needed battery they removed my batter from under back seat ( 2000 ) caddy....n it wouldn't crank was the starter, so cancelled purchase n got refund n they put my old batter back in. Been doing bus. 15 yrs n they r the best.
The guy working there was so nice!! He had my oil and filter ready for me to pick up at the counter since it was called in from an auto repair place down the road! Super fast, pleasant and friendly!!

The guys who work at this location are the best. They are experienced car guys who are able to help solve your problems. They use the products they sell on their own vehicles.
Went to get a battery. Associate was very friendly and helpful. Put our battery in and checked the alternator for us too. All good and ready to go! Very thankful for his help and with a smile on a Sunday!
This is my husbands home away from home. Thanks guys for taking care of Lee Nicely and giving him the correct part every time. (So I don't habe to hear it) Makes a difference when we live in George Hildebrand and it's over 20 miles round trip to Valdese store.
This place staff is so friendly. I bought a wipers for my car and the did put them on my car as free. This plase also so clean so organized so you can fund stuff so easily.
