So much garbage. They do not enforce bungee cords. So residents overstuff their garbages and garbage obviously flies out. Fisher hill has turned into a garbage dump. Very sad. Not sure why the review below me says great job on fisher ave because that street is one of the WORST.
SO MUCH GARBAGE EVERYWHERE. FISHER AVE. WESTMORELAND AVE. INTERVALE AVE. AND DOG POOP. ITS DISGUSTING I WISH I NEVER MOVE HERE. CLEANER STREETS IN NYC. RIDICULOUS.
White plains more like garbage plains. Garbage fills the sidewalks. Even on main streets like fisher ave. We hate windy days cuz garbage will literally hit you in the face.

Absolute trash (no pun intended) they saw my pal get blown down by heavy winds and refused to pickup on cardboard day after a week of no pickup for cardboard so things were backed up as it is. when I called to ask about it, their response was “we can’t help what Mother Nature does” This isn’t first time something like this has happened either. Beyond lazy, guess the idea of doing your job is long gone smh
I just called the City of White Plains Sanitation Department for information. I didn't get the gentleman's name, he was so nice, helpful, all around it was a good experience. I can only imagine the calls they get, people demanding, asking a million questions, not having the information needed, (how can they know how much time it will take if you can't tell them what you need to be picked up). ANYWAY..... thank you for your patience and professionalness!!!
