I highly recommend. We worked to reburish a few of our 1930s leaded glass casement windows, and address the mechanical operation of many more. The work was done efficiently and I am really happy with the end result. A true professional crew and process for anyone looking to restore their original windows.

I had 6 elderly leaded windows. The frames needed cleaning and fixing, the sashes desperately needed new glass and the leading needed to be repaired and strengthened. Further, I was concerned about possibly damaging the leaded window settings. Seekircher did a brilliant job - on the frames, on the sashes, on restoring the frame and sash hardware. And they took great care to protect the window settings so there was no collateral damage. They completed the job in a very timely fashion, on schedule. I couldn't be more pleased.

I had a problem: with 100 year old steel casement windows, the caulk was crumbling, glass was cracked. The windows no longer closed properly; cold air leaked inside. After a repair with another company went awry (we had smashed a window playing ping pong), I sat on the problem for years. I considered replacing our windows entirely. But, structurally, the outside frames of our windows are buried in the surrounding masonry walls. The effect is that they're nearly invisible. Gorgeous light streams inside - something only possible with steel. And the elegant panes fit beautifully with our home. I didn't want to give them up! After much research, I eventually found Seekircher with their impeccable reputation. They did all the work on-site, carefully working their way around our home across 4 weeks. The windows aren't just repaired, they're like new. Todd Seekircher is completely savvy about the technical aspects as well as design considerations, guiding us towards how to combine the painted steel frames with brass detailing. On-site, Angelo managed a small crew, running a team that was organized, professional, pleasant and tidy. When he realized one of the panes they had installed had some scratches on it, they replaced it before I even noticed. These are people who take pride in the quality of their work and I couldn't be happier.

We had been talking for nearly 2yrs as we gathered the funds needed but once jointly confirmed his team of absolute pros completed a beautiful job. The 21 windows with >46 sashes on our Tudor in Yonkers took 5 weeks to completely renovate and after 100yrs of work they are now set for the next! Todd Seekircher has a talented trustworthy team, Jack and Dan, that were able to remove paint and debris that had prevented my steel windows from opening properly. They worked skillfully and respectfully not to damage surrounding areas so now all is needed is minimal touch-up. Bravo!!

Against all odds Seekircher renewed all of the windows in my apartment. Covid was one obstacle after which the facade of our building was repointed taking three years to complete. As if that wasn’t enough, the coop board was slow to make final approval. Todd remained committed to the project and after several years was finally approved to begin. They did an amazing job fitting our 100-year-old steel casement windows for a new air conditioner. They cut new steel, installed plexiglass, and even removed our old air conditioner. They were extremely professional and took great care to cover all furniture and floors in the vicinity. Most importantly, they did phenomenal work — it looks fantastic. Highly recommend.

From beginning to end, working with Todd and his whole team was a positive experience. We had all of our original steel windows in our tudor-style home refurbished by them this fall. Todd and his site supervisor, JP, were both awesome to work with, explaining anything we had questions on, resolving any problems quickly as they came up, working productively with our general contractor, and letting us know what to expect at each step. The whole team was a pleasure to see each day, they were so kind to my three-year-old who desperately wanted to "help," and they went out of their way to keep the house livable for us. And of course, they did a fantastic job on the windows. They now all look beautiful, and we notice better operation and heat retention. I recommend them without reservation!

We recently purchased an apartment with 100+ year old steel windows (with as many coats of paint!). Working with the team from Seekircher Steel Window was an absolute pleasure. They literally restored all of the windows in the apartment back to their original state (stripping paint, repairing steel, replacing all panes of glass with thicker glass, and restoring all brass fixtures). The owner himself came to inspect the job in advance, so his workers were prepared with the right equipment, tools and materials. Our windows hadn't been renovated probably since they were new in 1929, but now they look new again. And they did it in less time than the original estimate. In all, it took 3 weeks, and they originally said 3 to 4 weeks. They do quality work, show up when they say they are coming, and we felt confident leaving them alone in the apartment. Seekircher Steel Window approached the restoration, in a building by one of New York City's great architects of the 1930s, with the greatest attention to detail. Combining technical expertise with historical knowledge, they returned the windows to working order enhanced by properly glazed glass, and brought out their original luster. This restoration far surpassed installing replacement windows, and introduced us to a company superlative in every way.

Excellent service and we highly recommend. We had actually spoke to Todd in 2019 about our original 1920s Tudor windows during initial renovation of an old home. He was very upfront that the windows were in good shape and we had more pressing matters for the home. We hired Seekircher in summer of 2020 as we progressed on the house. The team is excellent, communication is wonderful, and above, everyone is very honest on work that should and should not be done. We can notice a difference already in heat and cold retention.

Because a lot of the windows were cracked and interior mechanisms were not working, as well as missing cranks ... we were contemplating getting new windows. But once we spoke with Todd and with his help and expertise we decided to preserve the integrity of the home... & keep existing windows ... he was able to fix the glass and get the windows to be functional and he also replaced the interior cranks we were very happy with their service!! I needed to have my 88 year old steel casement windows refurbished. They were in horrible shape. Seekircher did an amazing job. They now look brand new. All of the workers were wonderful. Amazingly, there was minimal dust. I highly recommend them.
