The new key works perfectly. This tiny but big store also has an outstanding team and excellent, caring, and compassionate customer service—each staff member was so helpful and offered great advice and I did not take the name, but especially the key maker. It’s the kind of place that makes me even happier to live in this neighborhood, as it truly adds to the quality and magic of city life.

We needed a very niche part for a kitchen sink. Went to another hardware store trying to get the part and they said we had to get it straight from the manufacturer. Walked into Fulton Hardware and they immediately were helpful and said maybe we can find the part in the back. They did and it saved the day. Love this spot and will be coming here for all hardware needs in the future. So friendly and helpful!

Tried to rent a drill for 2 hours to install a TV, first rep was very nice and told me $40 per day which was reasonable but that they might be able to install the TV themselves, put me on with other rep and wow, tried to pressure me to pay him $350 (could just buy a new TV with that money) to install something and kept trying to make it sound more complicated than it is… lastly, when I explained I have no interest in paying $350 he continues to try and dissuade me from my decision rudely and hung up abruptly at the end, very much was trying to take advantage of the situation rather help the customer, will not be using their services due to the pushy and inconsiderate nature

This place was incredible with my key copy issue. They gave me their cell number so I could send a picture of the key and confirm they had it before making the trip down. Alan was so kind, giving me a great price + discount because he knew the low-income clinic I was making the keys for. A warm, lovely environment - even though it's far from me, I'm coming back here if I need anything hardware or locksmithing related!
Went to buy some bolts. They were helpful finding the right size, but I was trying to figure out what length to get because their stock was limited. While thinking they kicked me out five minutes before they were supposed to close. They told me I had to “come back tomorrow.” Needless to say, I didn’t go back the next day. Poor service.
Don't be intimidated by the tall shelves and tight aisles. Despite the small size they have almost anything you could need. The staff was very knowledgeable about all of the hardware there and helped us choose the right mounting hardware for our TV. We had to come up with a custom solution and they got us everything we need. They even tried to save us money by selling us a different tool than we thought we needed (and what we ended up buying did the job just as well).
They tried to over charge me on a sheet of 220 grit sand paper. It was marked .79 cents they wanted to charge me over $2 for it, and the clerk said I couldn't go by what it was labeled. I had to tell him like three times to take if off, it's not worth the hassle go somewhere else.

I have been going to this hardware store regularly now. It is closer to me, and they have everything I have asked for in stock, including things like Swiffer products and birdseed. I ask for what I need, and one of the store staff gets it for me. Very safe and very friendly!
Best hardware store EVER! Called for an unusual-size lightbulb. Not only did they have it, but they set it aside for me to pick up. We “discovered” them about a month ago and they are now our go-to place. Nice staff members who are very helpful, knowledgeable, and professional.
I was in a pinch with my roommate remodeling our kitchen and we ran out of pantry and cabinet handles! We needed about 25!!! We ran to the store and they reopened the shop just for us! We went home and got to put the new handles on our pantries and cabinets, they looked great! Thanks for what you did! You have nooooo idea how much it meant to us!
Went in to buy spray disinfectant and small spray bottles. In this time of crisis the owner donated the spray and bottles. As a NYC paramedic this action went without saying. The store has a new customer going forward

Came in to get copies of keys. The staff was knowledgeable and did it very quickly and for a low price. The only issue is that one of the keys was accidentally copied twice, and the other not copied at all.
This was an easy fix, as I simply came in again, explained the issue, and they fixed the problem free of charge.
I recommend going here for any task to be done quickly and for a good price. And it's a cute shop!
Being from out of town my expectations were low when it came to hospitality. But here they helped me with my very specific request quickly and effortlessly. They even helped me with setup in the store to make sure I was 100%. Great Mom n Pop shop, wish I had one like this back home.
Well stocked. Pretty much all you need is found at this location. My colleague and I stopped in for some plumbing supplies and they had all the material we were looking for. I recommend this establishment for your maintenance needs.
Favorite hardware store in NYC. Customer for many years. Service is excellent. If you don't know something, someone there does. I recently went in looking for toggle bolts and the guy working there suggested snap toggles instead. Even explained and showed me how to use them, and they made my job a lot easier.
This hardware store carries just about everything and anything you need to complete any DIY repair. And the staff is knowledgeable and great people to speak to. It also has a great Mom &Pop atmosphere.
The people working are quite hospitable and it is a relatively fun place to stop in, my issue is that I made three copies of a key that do not work. I returned multiple times to solve this, at first they said it must be an issue with the lock and that I may need to pay for an additional locksmith service but my roommate's key worked fine. I persisted and purchased a copy from a keyme facility which worked perfectly on the first try. I returned to inform them of this and they only offered to come and figure out why they could not accurately copy this "new generation" of key. I presumably would have had to pay for that visit and they offered no refund for the three keys that are now useless to me, not a great business practice!
Great hardware store, so glad I don't have to go to Home Depot. Just needed some simple 10-32 screws, they had them, they were cheap and I was back on with my project. GREAT SERVICE in a town that is known for being full of hostile A-holes and idiots.
These guys are great! I needed finding a clipper to cut fake flower stems with wire in them. In the meantime, my cat had ripped my palm by accident. The staff-person clipped them for me since I could not apply the necessary pressure. It's really easy to underestimate just how much we need both palms for tasks! Having help moved me. I appreciate the thoughtfulness, help and really modest price here very, very much.
Always SO helpful. Whenever I go in here, the staff always goes above and beyond to be helpful and make sure they not only get you what you ask for, but that it's actually what you need. Today I was helped by Glen (I believe that's how he introduced himself to someone on the phone), who went above and beyond. Totally recommend this store to anyone who needs something for their project.
I've copied keys twice now at Fulton Supply Co. I've gone around 4:00 PM both times and waited less than two minutes to be helped. The copies somehow work better than the originals. Magic.
