This is the type of small business that everyone should support. We were out of towners traveling through Amsterdam, New York and had a flat tire. Ray was on his day off and came out to rescue us. He didn’t ask for anything and got us back on the road. Of course we paid him. He was even concerned that we did not travel without a spare so he took the tire back to his shop, repaired it and brought it back to us. If we could give 10 stars we would. Thank you, Ray!!
I had an accident late at night around 4am. then next day I came to west end towing to pick up my car. There was a lot more damage than i expected and realized i needed to tow it again to an auto body shop. I am a college kid with not a lot of funds and my mother gave me a triple a card which i had a free tow for. they were expected to be there at 3:30 and i was only supposed to wait an hour since i got to west end around 2:30. Delay after delay it was 8:30pm and still no truck from triple a. A gentleman named Ken was very helpful throughout the whole process. Even tho they closed at 5pm Ken looked at the cameras and saw i was still waiting. He gave me a call and told me he would tow it about 30 minutes away to an auto body shop near my home. On top of that he said he would do it for free just so i can get home to my family. I was overwhelmed with relief from finally being able to go home and it was all due to the great customer service Ken gave me. GIVE THAT MAN A RAISE!!!!

No body was there during business hours came at 8am when I came to get my car and was told to come after closing I think this poorly ran business and now I'm getting charged storage fee
I took my car there to have my brakes fixed. They didn't fix the brakes. They told me the brakes were fine and that they checked the front and the back. Took my car to another shop and the front brakes were metal on metal. I do not recommend this repair shop.
I bought 2 vehicles on the same day from here. Within 24 hours BOTH vehicles were back in the shop!! My vehicle has been back 3 times for the check engine light. They had to send it back to the DEALERSHIP and STILL the check engine light os back on!!
Great experience. 3 year old car wouldn’t start even after putting in brand new battery. I was stranded in Wally World parking low. Called for a tow through ford roadside, the driver called me back, gave me his status. He had a car on already but offered to stop by and try to help me jump it. Wouldn’t jump .... nothing. We spoke briefly and decided to take a quick look at the starter. Long story short, we found the problem and got my car running. Just got to the shop to get repaired.
What more could you ask for? I mean the guy was knowledgeable, friendly, communicative, and prompt. I avoided a towing charge, and was able to give the shop a good idea of what the problem was.

I bought a Jeep from this place same day bad rear end a few weeks later there rubber tranny lines poped left me stuck any way I was told it would all be fixed and replaced never happened don’t buy cars from this place I promise u that u will regret it
Amazing customer service, they truly go above and beyond. Extremely friendly and professional, they got the towing job done very quickly and even gave my son something to remember by letting him help with the truck. Will use their services again in the future for sure.
These folks go above and beyond. I had a blow out on I87 South in Saratoga on the way to a music gig, West end towing & auto repair llc towed my car to their shop (in Amsterdam of all places). The owner happened to have the same car as mine and had a spare tire at home. He sent one of his workers home to get it, then mounted it onto my rim and then drove my car all the way to Scotia (and had his GF follow him) at the end of my gig. I won't tell you what it cost, but it was WAY less than I thought it should be. When I tried to give him extra $ he refused to take it. Huge shout out to West end towing & auto repair llc. Its nice to know decent honest people are still out there. If you are in need of automotive services or a quality pre-owned car check this guy out!!

I bought a 2000 dodge durango from them with the assumption there was nothing wrong with it. They passed it on inspection when they clearly shouldn't have. The say I test drove it there was nothing wrong. Then when we picked it up and put gas in it, all you could smell was gas. Went to fill the tank and all the gas came out. I only had the truck for a week. I called them and said they needed to fix it. They told me "it wasnt their problem." Threatened them with the lemon law, they then fixed it but tried saying that someone dropped my gas tank and cut a hole in it. Don't you think someone would've heard that? Needless to say DON'T BUY A USED VEHICLE FROM THEM!!!!!!! They are horrible.
Bought a used truck from these guys are they were great. fixed things I didn't even realize were broken before we picked up. when I noticed something was wrong with the engine they replaced the parts at NO cost!!! since then I have been bringing both my vehicles to them for repairs. wonderful team and owners.
West end was supposed to tow my vehicle to an insurance approved collision center. They were aware of the tow at 10am. I was at my home waiting until 1pm, when I called. The collision center was shocked I had not heard from them, and promptly got west end to call me. They told me 330-4. That time came and went, and it was getting close to closing time for the collision center. I was concerned about my vehicle being left in a shady area without being secure, so I called the insurance company. They advised me to cancel the tow, I was unsure as to if I would be personally responsible for after hours towing fees since the tow was called in rather early in the morning. I called the tow company to cancel, and the "gentleman" on the phone proceeded to argue with me, stating my insurance was not paying for the tow, the collision center was so it didn't matter. Wrong is wrong, unethical is unethical, so I still stated "you are not going to pick my vehicle up, I am cancelling the tow". I was then called a "rude b&%ch by the individual speaking on the phone. I promptly informed the collision center and my insurance company this happened. I was informed by my insurance company they were dropping this tow company from their list. I could do nothing but laugh. I was firm and adamant on the phone, but never disrespectful. It was so completely off the wall that this "business" man had said that to me. . a pregnant mom who is currently "single" because my husband is deployed.
I bought a used car from these folks. They were fair, honest and a pleasure to deal with -- a real relief after some of the car sellers you find on craigslist. West End Auto handled everything with the DMV and registration. They even returned some money I had accidentally overpaid. I plan to bring the car back there for servicing too, but so far (knock on wood) it's been running fine.
