Dave was amazing! We blew a tire on the Thruway. He was most concerned for our safety. Changed out the tire with a spare, and then followed us to make sure we got to a tire store.
Excellent service. Responded quickly after we became stuck in a snow bank after midnight, and didn’t give up until they got us out. Even called the next morning to check in.
The tow truck driver Dave came to me from an hr and a half away in the middle of a snow storm. I waited hrs for other tow companies to show up to help me with my flat tire. He arrived, communicated everything, made sure i was safe, and had me get warm in his truck while he put my truck on the flat bed. If it wasnt for him, I'd still be stuck in the middle of Albany in this snow storm. Thank you for everything. Compassion goes a long way, and you definitely made a horrible situation feel a little more at ease.
This company and especially the driver, Dave, were extremely professional and great at communicating. They exceeded my expectations with service and kindness. They also completed multiple safety checks to ensure safe delivery of tow. I would use and recommend them.

My car was stuck in the McDonald's drive-thru completely shutting down their business save the day the owner came out after hours and took care of it in less than 45 minutes total. And on a freezing cold night after a snowstorm when their business was crushed these guys are the best and super thoughtful

These people treat you like your an inconvenience. Went to release my car to insurance, instead of giving me the paper to fill out before he made a phone call about someone not paying him. 20 minutes later I'm worthy of the single paper I had to sign. Customer service is crap.
I just wanted to provide my feedback for your flatbed truck drivers who saved us last night. I believe their names were Jay and Nemo. They went above and beyond to make sure that our group of teachers who were stranded were able to get out of the cold and into a safe vehicle to get us home. They went out of their way to help with our things and we’re just genuinely kind people.
Yesterday in bitter cold my battery died out of the blue no jump could bring it back. One call to interstate northeast and in under an hour at my house I had a new battery in my car. Everyone from the team answering and dispatching to the driver mechanic was professional and put me at ease. Truly should be your first call.
I landed in a ditch during total white outs and snow covered roads. I called AAA. They were totally useless. I then called 911. The dispatcher sent interstate towing. (Sorry I did not get the tow truck operator s name). He came almost immediately. He first asked me if I was ok. He was not only kind and considerate, but he knew what to do. He got right to work. I was really stuck in the ditch. He was very professional. He kept asking me if I was OK. He wanted to make sure I got home ok too. I didn't get a chance to give him a tip. He surely deserved one. I would recommend this service to anyone. Thank you again for a job well done.

As the mother of the six children who were in the vehicle that broke down on the Thruway that night, I cannot express enough how grateful I am for Interstate Northeast, Inc. Towing. What happened was one of the most frightening moments of my life. Being stuck on the Thruway in the dark with all of my kids, cars speeding by, no safe shoulder to stand on, and absolutely no idea what was going to happen next created a level of fear that is difficult to put into words. I felt completely vulnerable, overwhelmed, and terrified for my children’s safety.
The moment this company got involved everything changed. The dispatcher, Tommy, was patient, calm, and compassionate from the very first second. He treated our situation with urgency and respect. He listened to every detail and reassured us that help was already on the way. That alone eased so much of my fear because I finally felt like someone understood how serious the situation was.
Then Ted arrived, and that is when I truly felt safe for the first time that night. He showed up incredibly fast, told us he rushed because he heard there were six kids involved, and his concern was real and sincere. He kept his lights on to protect the car, made sure the kids were standing safely, and spoke to us with so much kindness that it immediately calmed everyone down. The comfort and security he provided is something I will never forget. It takes a special kind of person to approach a scared mother and her children with that level of care and patience.
Even after helping secure the vehicle, Ted did not leave us alone. He stayed with us until our family members arrived to pick us up and made sure we were safely off the Thruway. That level of dedication and support meant the world to us. Knowing he stayed until the very end made me feel protected during a moment when everything felt chaotic.
His professionalism, knowledge, and genuine compassion truly stood out. He treated us like real people, not just another call. He made sure we understood what was happening and reassured us that everything was going to be okay. The way he handled the entire situation showed experience, heart, and true commitment to helping families in distress.
The price to tow the vehicle from the Thruway all the way to Mangino Chevrolet in Amsterdam was extremely fair, especially considering the speed, service, and compassion we received. This company did far more than just tow our vehicle. They protected a mother and six children during one of the most stressful and dangerous moments we have ever experienced. They stayed with us, made sure we were safe, and showed a level of professionalism that every towing company should strive for. I have Road side assistance and had a flat tire that I was unable to change my company all of a sudden in 20 minutes away, broke down that was being sent to me and was supposed to dispatch another tow company and never did but I received the information for this lovely company interstate NE. INC and even though I had to pay out-of-pocket for them to come, they were well worth it The gentleman knew exactly what I needed. He was quick, knowing that I had already sat in the place that I was stranded for six hours. With a three year-old in my car, he was very professional quick and went over and beyond his job to try to help me get back on the road ASAP. I give them five stars.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Absolutely Horrible Experience — Avoid This Towing Company
If I could give less than 1 star, I would. This company has no communication or consistency — it’s like the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing.
I arranged to have my car towed from Saratoga Springs, NY to Long Island through my AAA Premier membership. I was quoted three different prices: $50, $1126, and finally $126. My membership covers a 200-mile tow, and I was only about 30 miles over that limit, so I was happy to pay the difference. The confusion and lack of coordination were unbelievable.
The payment link they texted me didn’t even work, and the driver actually pulled over on the side of the highway to sort it out — acting like it was my fault — until we finally called the company to fix it. Then, instead of taking the direct 3.5–4 hour route, the driver went completely the wrong way — driving from Saratoga Springs, NY, through Springfield, MA, all the way through Connecticut, then back into New York, and finally onto Long Island. What should have been a straightforward trip turned into a 6–7 hour ordeal.
Yes, I completely understand that tow trucks can’t always take the same roads or highways as regular cars, but this route was absolutely unnecessary and made no sense. Even the driver’s own boss called after tracking the route and flat-out told him he took the longest way possible for no reason, since the correct directions were already sent to his phone. The driver couldn’t say anything — it was clear he simply didn’t know what he was doing.
He also pulled over again later and started doing something on his tablet without explaining what was going on, even though we were already hours behind. When I asked if he could at least “make good” for all the inconvenience by towing the car an extra 20 miles to my mechanic, he refused.
Shortly after finally getting my car to its destination, I called the company to report everything. The woman on the phone kept arguing with me and dismissing my concerns, especially about the route. I told her that the driver’s own boss had called and confirmed the driver was completely wrong about the route, and at that point she became tongue-tied — yet still didn’t apologize or take any responsibility.
Any other company would have at least apologized or tried to make things right — they did absolutely nothing. No ownership, no empathy, and no effort to correct multiple mistakes.
This entire experience was a disaster — from the pricing confusion to the driver who clearly didn’t know what he was doing, and the complete lack of customer service. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Horrible from start to finish.
Great guy to do business with. Clint came out to a very hard to access construction site on very short notice and not only diagnosed but repaired a specialty piece of equipment before lunch.
I have enjoyed the service of Interstate Northeast Inc, on many different occasions. "My Guy" The Driver, is always friendly, courteous and right on time! Very Professional, he always makes sure that my automobile is in goods hands! Takes pictures of my vehicle to insure that there's is no damages in transporting
my automobile for repair and service. I always recommend their service to my friends and family members. You can always expect quality professional service every time you call Interstate Northeast towing!

Zero Starz! I was traveling through Amsterdam NY from Iowa! My Vehicle got stolen from the road by this company. After calling them, I got treated so poorly it's unreal!
I was homeless on the streets on NY because they took my vehicle for 4 days. Day one they wanted $550. I got the money! They said, it cant be driven! Have to wait 2 days for insurance because it's not drivable!
I lived on the street in the hottest days of the year so they could get 3000 dollars from my insurance company!
They tell me it's 1700 to get it out! The adjuster shows up, says it's drivable! They lied to get more money, while I'm homeless for 4 days so they can make money on my vehicle! I calling my lawyer
Then, they broke my windshield worse than it was before, so it can't be driven safely! I'm sick to my stomach! This is the Police impound. I can't believe the actions this company has taken, treated my property and myself with massive disrespect! I can't believe this can happen in the United States! This is some 3rd world garbage!
I'm curious what y'all have to say? Now my insurance went up because they stole my truck and kept it for 4 days! I had the money to get it out the first day! They want thousands! Should be against the law
This company is highly unprofessional. They were requested by my insurance company when I had car emergency. Metal object struck my car from under and oil leaked out. And I’m sitting here in a middle of the road waiting for them for over 2 hrs and they are located 30min away. Guy comes in calmly asks to waive all their possible damages if any occur and I obviously say no. I wasn’t even the one calling them, it was my insurance! His dispatcher is rude guy hangs up and guy leaves without a word and I’m still on the road with my car… What kind of people are these?

A big shout-out to Jim and the team at Interstate Northeast. My daughter somehow managed to jam the front passenger door of my car open by closing the seatbelt buckle between the door and the frame.
The team was kind and polite when I called and gave me an accurate callout time. Jim was friendly and skilled and had me on my way in no time. Definitely recommend these guys.
I enthusiastically endorse Interstate Northeast Inc. (Schenectady). Tom selflessly adjusted his plans for his Labor Day Sunday to drive me and my disabled car for 198 miles from Schenectady, NY to Weymouth, MA. He made sure my ride was comfortable and safe and took very good care of the car in the process. The 3 1/2 hr drive went by so quickly because Tom is an excellent conversationalist! Thank you for your kindness and professionalism, Tom!

These guys are absolutely fantastic! I’ve used them for both personal and quite a lot of business use. I’ve called several times with only a moments notice and each time they’ve responded incredibly fast! In the past month alone they’ve responded to 4+ tows and recoveries for me. They always do a flawless job. Regarding my company, we will continue to work with Interstate for years to come! My truck needed a tow to a dealership about 200 miles away, after my radiator was clearly leaking and needed major repair. Jim and his son, took the job on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, and loaded my truck on the flatbed, and drove me and my dog to the dealership, where my husband met me. My check engine light came on and my car was riding rough. I was just over 20 miles from my mechanic and wanted my car towed to his shop. I called AAA and was told, unfortunately, it would be about a 70 min wait. (It was 8:00pm on a Saturday night), but what are you going to do? It is what it is. The tow driver, Mitchell, called me about 5 mins before arriving, and it was right at the 70 min mark. He was coming from another call that was quite a distance from where I was.
Mitchell was awesome. He got my car on the truck quickly and securely. I had gone shopping and had a bunch of bags in my car that he helped me unload from my car and get into the cab of the truck. I sat in the passenger seat and the cab was clean. He drove safely, and since my house was literally on the way to my mechanic's shop, he dropped me off at home (AAA told me that being dropped off home was the driver's choice, they are not obligated to do so) and then went on to drop my car off at the shop.
All in all this was a good experience- in as much as car trouble not being a good thing! I am impressed with Interstate NE Inc and really appreciate Mitchell's kindness and professionalism. Thank you so much!
I accidentally locked the keys in my trunk of my car. My insurance company sent interstate Northeast out to help. They were here within 20 minutes. Mitch was amazing and even had to climb into the trunk to release the emergency button To release the latch on the trunk! I would highly recommend them for any roadside assistance that you may need!
