DO NOT TRUST DREAMWORK TOWING.
This company towed my vehicle without any prior notification, and after months of searching, I was able to track it down. When I went to retrieve it, they refused to negotiate and demanded over $65 per day for storage fees—well above the legal limit of $25 per day, as clearly stated in New York State law. This is an illegal practice, and they are attempting to exploit customers who are already in a difficult situation.
Dreamwork Towing has a long history of unprofessional behavior and deceptive practices. I found multiple reviews from customers who were overcharged, misled, and left without any updates about their vehicles. One review described how they were over an hour late for a scheduled pickup, causing the customer unnecessary costs. This is just one example of the utter lack of respect for their customers’ time and money.
To make matters worse, Dreamwork Towing has lost their license, which should tell you everything you need to know about their operations. I’ve already involved my lawyers, and we are actively pursuing legal action against them. These kinds of predatory tactics will not be tolerated, and they will be held accountable.
Avoid this company at all costs. They are dishonest, illegal, and completely untrustworthy.
Finally!!!! This company license is revoked. No longer legally to tow any car!!!! If you have any car towed by them. All you have to do is call 911. They have to release your vehicle at no cost or you can report them for stealing your vehicle!!!
10/10 Dreamworks did an Amazing job towing my car this morning. The Driver was hustling to make everything work right and to protect my car from dragging it. I didn’t catch his name he was a tall guy, really nice guy. You guys are awesome thanks. My Range Rover is in good hands.

Very unprofessional and nasty person I have ever spoken to. Has an attitude as if someone stuck a stick up his behind. Beware if they tow your car be ready for some nasty attitude to be given. No info will be given over a phone to you. Although a day before he said call me tomorrow i m not In The office. Next day he was super rude. And the cop that spoke to him had shocked that he had an attitude with him as well. Smh I guess parents didn’t teach him any manners!
If I could give a -5 star I would. They told me it would only take 45 minutes max to get to me and 3 hours later they decided to cancel my towing service
This towing company was fast and reliable. I called them for a blocked driveway issue and they came to my location in less than 10min. Definitely using this company in the future.
A company of fraudsters charged 450 dollars for towing less than a thousand dollars. Towing price list is not shown. The prices are exorbitant. The service is very bad and disgusting

They damaged a vehicle when towed and owner will ask you to give him a call any other day and never showed up to solve a problem instead direct you to one of his drivers who is the rudest person you can ever met. Probably one of the biggest scams in the towing business , my car was towed from a police precinct , it was there only one day I went to pick it up called them they said 10 minutes I was there waiting almost 40 minutes on the guy to come , then when I got there I was charged $451.83 which is complete bull they charged for the tow which was $125 , then to tow out which was $125 which all he did was get in the car and drive it like 10 feet out the gate then charged me 75 for equipment , and 90 for storage and then kept insisting how he saved me hundreds of dollars because I was nice that he could of charged 75 for labor , another 75 for putting a little sheet to cover the window because the window was a little open plus another 75 for labor to get the car out . My car is a dingy Jeep Liberty 2004 and they scammed me like that I could only imagine what they would scam someone with a up to date vehicle .
Just saw one of their truck drivers drive like a total maniac on BQE only to end up at the same local intersection as me. Dude looked like a a hillbilly moron on meth.
So DreamWorks towed my vehicle from a car accident. They didnt drop my car off at my requested location. They just dropped my car off on the street. Called them for 4days straight to figure out where my car is. DreamWorks employees are the most Nasty Attitude havin ppl. So days later they give me a address where my car is located. I go and find out my car was Stolen!!!!! So this unprofessional act cause my new car to be stolen. They refuse to assist in anyway regarding my lost. I highly recommend no one to business with this company.
My vehicle was impounded due to me parking in front of a driveway. It was almost $350 to get the vehicle out but the guy was courteous on time and was able to get it done quickly. I took it up to an expensive life lesson.
These guys were contracted to tow my vehicle when I was stuck without power. They left me stranded for FIVE hours. They repeatedly lied to the insurance company saying they were stuck in traffic and then after I called screaming, suddenly they were able to get to within 20 minutes. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
The worst towing company ever. Owner was unprofessional and lied to us. They picked up my car the night before to tow it to the salvage inspection site at 10am but arrived there at 11:30am. The owner told us to be there at 8:30am. THEY WERE AN HOUR AND A HALF LATE FOR MY EXAM WHEN THEY KNEW NOT TO BE LATE OR ELSE I WOULD HAVE TO RESCHEDULE AND PAY ANOTHER $150 fee. Called the owner many times to see when the driver would arrive and lied to us multiple times about his whereabouts. The dispatcher/owner gave the driver 2 routes that morning, to the city and to my salvage inspection site. The owner knew the driver wouldn’t make it on time but still didn’t give me any notice. I expected the owner to call or text me about the updates of the driver but I had to be the one calling him for an update. So unprofessional. If I could give this company zero stars I would. Price is way over price too.
Scammers be aware: don’t not support them This towing company is located 5901 2nd avenue, Brooklyn. The 71st police station on empire blvd is working with them to purposely tow your vehicle and then when you ask them where your vehicle is they don’t know for a few days so that the feee can add up and the towing company is a scam they charge you $125 for towing/ $125 to take your vehicle out the yard back, storage fees and more illegal fees, they don’t want to take debit or credit card from you or give you invoice until you pay them in cash. This is a big scam they are all working together! Can’t believe this is happening in the community whose pay check is been paid with tax payers money to serve the community not team up and rob the community, They need to all be sued! If your vehicle don’t have a vin number displaced they will break into your vehicle illegally also. Please if this happened to you write review here also.
You never know when your car is gonna break down. It happened today in 90 degree heat in the middle of Bed-Stuy. My mechanic recommended Dreamwork Towing, I trust my mechanic, and figured this was not going to be the best day to be out here moving cars and trucks around on a 4th of July weekend, so patience is key. Took a little while, but these guys came through, their driver actually knew a few of the folks I knew - go figure, very professional and speedy. Made what would have been a miserable day - just that much better, thanks for coming through.
In line with some other reviews. NYPD gets them notice to tow a stolen vehicle. NYPD then takes no credit "we just do the paperwork" and Mr. Dreamwork works the dream and will charge for towing the vehicle. This is both a Failure on behalf of NYPD to now tow into their yard and Bravo to Dreamwork for participating in hopeful future class action law-suit.
TL,DR: If they try to charge you $250, tell them you know its illegal to charge you more than $125.
My car was towed by this place because I was parked in front of a driveway (totally my bad and I deserved to get towed). The person who was there when I went to pick up my car screamed at me for not having my title and registration, though he eventually let me take my car without it. He also initially told me that the towing was going to be $250 - but I told him I knew it was illegal to charge me more than $125. He immediately backed down and told me that the legal limit was now $136. I didn't look into it, but he charged me $136 and I got my bar. But if I hadn't know to say that it was illegal (from some random article I read while trying to figure out how to get my car back) they would have scammed me out of over $100.
This company is a rip off and full off Lies. my my brother car was towed by them so I went and check if the car was there and it was the next day we go to get stuff out there car they said it’s not there they moved it and refuses to give us the location where it’s at also when we call again they hang up on us also told them we going to call the cops they said they don’t care the cops wouldn’t do them anything
The owner is running a scam operation. Had to fight to get him to take a card after he demanded cash only. He wouldnt give me an itemized bill untill after he took my money. Charged too much as per nyc accident tow rates. He was ready to charge me an extra day storage because he "couldn't" process my card. Said he cant accept debit cards for whatever reason. Lied about the hours of operation. Magically the "credit" card I gave him (which was actually debit) processed no problem.
Thank god for the guys working the yard, they really helped. Make them the owners and the company will be much better off

I’ve never dealt with such scam artists. They lie in your face, they are extremely rude, they care only for your money, . Sick nasty people!! We had a horrible experience with them!!!
Worst shop I’ve ever been to. Refuse to take credit cards. Lie that their machines are down. Only want to take cash. Can’t even have a civil conversation with them. They scream at you and embarrass you at every turn. My car is stuck there and can’t get it out, and there is no Manager there to speak with.
