I can’t think how many times this place has come in handy! If I am ever in the area I know exactly where to go! Definitely take advantage if you have a tire situation come here if you are in the area and you will be taken care of immediately.
Called so many other Towing services and they either hung up mid call or they would say no one is available, but when I called here instant response along with great communication all throughout. Definitely a trustworthy and reliable company.
Theres no entrance to an office there. My battery and altwrnator were dying. A worker told me it was electrical and dont worry about it. Later that night my car broke down on the crossbronx expy.
I took my car to a this shop with four brand-new tires for installation, but they failed to balance them properly despite my payment for the service. They also neglected to remove the old tire weights from the rims. As a result, I experienced vibrations while driving at around 50 miles per hour. I had to visit another shop to fix the issue, where I discovered that one of the tires was also installed inside out.
I went here early this morning to get air in my tires to balance my tires. I ask do he have a gauge so he can make sure the front and back tires matched I had to explain this three times and he still seem to have my tires off balance. I was running late for work so I just left! His attitude was horrible along with his lack of comprehending! Customer service comes along way they won’t get another cent from me!
Great service I have a problem with my tire and they fix everything and they give me a very good solution to continue my trip. Thanks a lot. I will recommend this place to anyone who wants to fix the tires.

Very bad customer service, my little brother just caught a flat tire and went to him he wants to over charge him plus I’m called to tell him he doesn’t have enough money I have to send him my card information or Zelle he still refused to take the payment while my little brother is begging him to find a way and he is being VERY NASTY with him. Then I told him ok put back my flat tire back and I will go somewhere else and he over charged him to do that too because he is already done and can’t say no to the price. I swear I felt like going to slap the F out of him for being disrespectful but I know he is not the owner, he is just a worker who doesn’t care don’t come to this place because their prices is too high and rude customer service
After the 60-90 minute window for tow truck pickup I called him 15 minutes later and he told me 30 minutes which after that became 30 more minutes. I waited for 3 hours and nobody still came. They did not contact my insurance company to let them know that my location was restricted to one tow truck and they couldn’t get on that highway. My insurance dispatched it to another service provider. Maximus is terrible! Would highly NOT recommend.
Vini great worker, very kind, excellent service, he help cleaning the head lamps, change new tires and he very respectful. I recommended a 100% and I will be back if I need it.
Just got back from here. The staff was super friendly and thorough. Took a while for them to resolve the issues we had on the tire, but considering the good work they did? Didn't mind the wait at all.
Only downside is traffic making a pain to get in & out of, but still... Definitely recommend their work
They have terrible customer service, the dude sitting at the window is going to push the little slot on on me and throw my card with a nasty attitude for no reason. Way too old to be that childish. Then the dumb mechanic is going to say one price and then charge me more than what he said. He said 140 then going to charge 150, and I feel like it was just because I'm a female. I definitely would not recommend their service to anybody unless you absolutely have no other option. Way overpriced.
Terrible. They sell tires with holes in it. Bought 4 used tires yesterday. Everything seemed fine. Today one of the tires went flat and I see that there’s a leak in the wall of the tire making it impossible to even fix. Call the place and they tell me to come in for an exchange which would be fine if I were close by. But I was in Manhattan and driving to the bronx would be completely unsafe. I asked for a refund on one of the tires since it was obviously damaged. He refused a refund, and only offered an exchange for another tire (which would probably be damaged anyway). Bad business considering I bought 4 tires and spent a lot of money with them, I thought they would be considerate after selling me a damaged tire. Go somewhere else.
Awful. I hit some debris on the Bronx River Parkway and was towed here. I just took my car to my mechanic after they put a tire on my car and was just told that they didn't even put on the right tire, it's out of round, and it's absolute trash. Of course I paid cash to avoid the service fee so I can't even charge back for their incompetence. Avoid this place.

Looks like a great place but I will not come back. I was charged $30 to fix a flat tire which costs $15 everywhere else in NYC and Jersey. it’s either I was scammed or they just have really high prices. Don’t recommend.
I recommend this place because they came to my daughter's rescue today when two other tow truck companies wouldn't because of the rain today SMH. Lou was very professional and was willing to go and help my daughter in need. Lou changed the flat tire then my daughter follow him back to the tire shop where he made the necessary repairs and got her back on the road again. Thank you again Lou wish there were more people like you. God bless.
My rear passenger tire was completely flat. 2 very nice gentlemen helped me put my spare on until I was able to make it to Maximus. Lou was very pleasant & gave me a fair price to replace my tire. He showed me the huge hole in my tire which ruled out a patch job. Was done quickly...about 15 minutes total including tire balance. They don’t accept credit cards but they do have an ATM on premises. Would definitely go back to this tire shop when needed.
I went to Maximus Tire Shop right before midnight 5/20/2019 due to indicator signal for my tires lit up on dashboard screen. Went to Maximus to have the tires checked out. Was told 3 out of 4 tires were fine...that my right rear passenger tire was going flat due to nails in the tire.
Come the next day, indicator signal...FOR THE TIRES...lit up AGAIN on the dashboard. I got to see it for myself ~The left front drivers side tire went flat~~LITERALLY!
I was charged $30 ($40~i included a $10 tip) to have my right rear passenger tire "fixed." Had to go to another tire shop to have the CORRECT tire (left front drivers side) FIXED~~and got tire fixed CORRECTLY for LESS $$$.
Vinny is the man. He took care of me with honesty and integrity which is a rare find at a lot of these tire shops. He took care of my flat the first time around and was so cool I came back for a tire. And he is always professional and welcoming. He is why I keep coming back. Thanks Vinny. We appreciate you.
