I had the pleasure of being serviced by Israel. He was exceptional in service and solutions, and provided everything I needed. If it wasn’t for him, I’d be giving a 2.5
If I could give zero stars, I would. This company’s truck completely blocked an entire street this morning even though there was plenty of room to pull over. They created a full-on traffic jam for over twenty minutes — long enough to make my child late to an emergency doctor’s appointment.
When I politely asked the drivers if they could move just a few feet, their response was:
“If you’re that impatient, hop in the back of the garbage truck.”
Yes, that’s an actual quote from their employee.
Not only is that unbelievably rude and unprofessional, it’s reckless. Waste management is a tough job, but that doesn’t excuse arrogance, disregard for public safety, or mocking families stuck behind them in an emergency. This company clearly has no training, no accountability, and no respect for the community they serve.
If management reads this — fix your culture. Teach your drivers basic courtesy, situational awareness, and human decency. Until then, I’d strongly urge every business and municipality to think twice before hiring them.
We started using Waste Connections for our bakery about a month and a half ago and what a difference! No issues with trash pick-up, super easy to reach out to, and always so responsive. I really appreciate what you do!
Horrible service. They have missed trash pickups multiple times but usually rectify them the next day. What we are experiencing now is something else - they missed our standard pickup on Tuesday the 22nd of April and on Friday the 25th. They also missed all pickups in between and thereafter to rectify the missed standard pickups. The last trash pickup we had was Friday the 18th so more than a week ago! When I call they keep promising that "tonight" they will pick everything up and then we come in in the morning and the trash is still outside of our store!!
Our monthly service fee increased unexpectedly by 40%, and despite repeated attempts to reach out, no one has provided a solution or even attempted to rectify the issue. Extremely disappointed by the lack of accountability and customer support. Not recommended until pricing transparency and responsiveness improve.
Waste connections missed my business pickup a majority of Monday nights. Every Tuesday morning I had to put in a request for a missed pick up for two years. Frequently ended up with messes like the picture because of missed pick ups. I'm shocked with how bad the service was for this trash pick up. I would never use them.
I've had nothing but issues with them. Their reps are really prompt when it comes to making you sign the contract but disappear right after without any instructions. They have constantly missed pick ups with the same excuses. "We'll send a recover team to pick it up". What's the point of having scheduled days when you never pick up the trash on those days?
I would avoid this company at all cost.
They approached my business with a price based on containers, and within just a few months, they unjustifiably doubled the price. When I try to contact customer service or a senior manager, they simply ask me to send an email. Be warned!
This company’s garbage truck wakes my family up every single day at 4 in the morning and bangs around for a half an hour. I have called repeatedly to ask the truck to reschedule and they say they “pass on the message” but it still comes and wakes up the whole building. Horrible company with no concern for the communities they serve

Be very weary with this company. Mark, Manny and Jason don’t return calls or try to resolve their screwups. They don’t adhere to the contract signed and never return calls. They miss pickups and say they didn’t see a 60 G can in front of your business. My cameras showed they never even came to our office to pick up to collect the garbage. Go with another company. I made a huge mistake going with these clowns. You’ll thank me later. Going with another company. Going to post in all platforms to warn other businesses.
Signed a contract with Waste Connections for business trash removal last week and scheduled a pick up, trash wasn’t picked up Then had the hardest time getting in touch with the rep but eventually got through and rescheduled only not to have it picked up again and then again ! They’ve picked up once but only after hounding the rep and then today they missed our pick up for the last time. I wouldn’t bother choosing Waste Connections. Save yourself some time and find a reliable service.

They do an excellent job collecting the trash daily, and they they sweep up all the loose waste left behind before I arrive to work. I've been dealing with Waste Connections for our business waste management needs, and while their service in terms of waste pickup has been reliable, there are significant issues in their communication and billing practices that potential customers should be aware of. Most notably, we've experienced unexpected rate increases without proper notification. For example, our monthly bill saw a significant jump without any preceding letter or email to explain or justify this change. When queried, the responses hinted at an increase but didn't align with the actual charges applied to our account.
Moreover, it's becoming increasingly clear that Waste Connections holds a strong position in the market, which seems to limit our options and leverage as customers. This situation feels very much like a monopoly, where choices are scarce, and the power dynamics heavily favor the service provider over the customer.
While I understand that businesses must adjust their rates, the lack of clear, advance communication and the limited market options leave much to be desired. I hope this feedback prompts Waste Connections to improve their customer service and billing transparency. Customers deserve to be fully informed and treated fairly, especially when it comes to changes that affect their financial planning.

We've been using Waste Connections for the past year here at The Ivory Peacock Bar. Excellent service and excellent quality. Dealing with their team is very seamless. Claudia has been exceptionally pleasant to deal with. Highly recommend.
They often raise prices. Also there are many days when garbage is not picked up!! there is small bag with 20lbs they said " too heavy " & left it out there . the problems was happen many times . the price always raise up just a year 3 times but the service .... i'm sorrry to say " terrible , poor ....." i'm gonna change another company as soon as possible . oh pls , 20lbs it too heavy for a men work for wasteconnection ? i thought that they're an officer . thanks for yours service ..... a girl at my store will help you guys to lift up that bag to the truck . trust me !!!!!
Have been a customer of Waste Connections for the last seven years. Can't say enough about this company! Very Consistent and easy to deal with when you need something extra picked up. Gloria has been a Peach to deal with lately especially during Covid. They understand the Restaurant business and are happy to work with us until we get back to normal!
