I was stuck in traffic in a semi and ran out of diesel I called after hours and was told a worker was going to come out and he did (Miguel)and he made sure I had enough to make it to a fuel station. I’m so thankful that they helped me.
Amazing people! Amazing company! As an upper west side resident, I feel very comfortable knowing that Autorama is right there on the west side highway. I can’t imagine the kind of low life people who would go about their day to leave a bad review on these hard working people who save lives every single day! A 100 stars if I can!!! Autorama practically saved my life today when my vehicle became disabled in the LEFT LANE on the Henry Hudson Parkway. Ray the tow truck operator was very professional and understanding. He got me safely off the highway. I’m very thankful.
They were a life saver! Quick response and Ray was so friendly and helpful, my 20 year old daughter got a flat coming off the bridge and was in a panic, she called this company and from the woman who answered the phone to the tow truck driver it was an amazing experience! Would definitely recommend. They were great!

It all started when my car was hit on a quiet road late in the evening. My car was not drive able unexpectedly , and to make matters worse, the driver’s side door was jammed shut. I was feeling completely helpless, with no idea what to do or who to call. That’s when I remembered hearing about AutoRama, and I decided to give them a shot.
From the moment I called, they reassured me that everything would be okay. Their dispatcher was incredibly kind and professional, letting me know a tow truck would be on its way in no time. True to their word, help arrived quickly. The driver, who was not only skilled but also very empathetic, immediately got to work.
Not only did they expertly tow my car to safety, but they also went above and beyond by helping fix my jammed car door. It was such a relief to see someone take the time to assess the issue and resolve it right there instead of just brushing it off as “not their job.”
What truly impressed me was their genuine care and commitment. They didn’t treat me like just another customer. Instead, they made me feel like helping me was their top priority. It was like having a friend show up when you need them the most.

I came prepared with vehicle release form + notarized, registration & owner’s photo ID. It was a quick process. Keep in mind, they do not take payment over the phone - meaning you do have to be present in other to pay. As long as the release form is readable, it’s not a problem. It’s better to pay cash, if you don’t want to pay the 3% cc processing fee. Thank you to Algema, I appreciate the help.
I had the pleasure of interacting with Tow Truck Driver Phil, Phil was very professional and helpful, Phil's level of customer service is something that cannot be taught, it has to be in the fabric of who you are, autorama is fortunate to have him as an employee.
My experience at Autorama was 100% satisfying from start to finish. The entire staff was extremely polite and courteous. My vehicle was involved in a major accident which required substantial repairs. I personally thought that my vehicle couldn't be repaired. As it turned out I was totally wrong, Autorama did a phenomenal job, when I first saw my car after completion I was in shock. The car looked brand new.
If I could give them 10 stars I would. Every time my car has needed work done they went above and beyond my expectations. I practically have a brand new car. Staff is amazing. I'm referring everyone one I know. All 3 people .
The police confiscated my motorcycle and brought it to this place. They were kind enough to know the value and store it indoors. It had been raining for days and I was too busy at work to go and claim it. The process to reclaim it was painless. The woman at the counter was very nice and courteous. She was familiar with what documents were what and as simple as that may seem anyone who's been to a tow yard knows the hard time people give you when they don't understand what documents you're giving them. I love dealing with respectful people this is something you don't find often in this industry.
I had the best experience with Autorama! My car was hit while parked. They did an amazing job fixing my car. Miguel was great he always kept me updated about my car. My car looks exactly like when I took it off the dealership. I have a brand new car again. Please don’t ever hesitate to come here they are excellent.
Every time I have am issue with my truck these guys come in no time to help me. Even if I had to wait, because let’s face it, it is New York City and traffic is terrible. You’re not the only person who has a car that’s broken down. Once they arrive their professionalism is great and they try to help you out anyway they can
My vehicle was towed by this company, upon removing my vehicle from there yard they caused excessive damage to the rear of the vehicle that was never there, I was told to email the manager regarding my issue, it has now been over 3 weeks and never received a response, my insurance company depreciated the vehicle because of damages caused by autoRama I even reached out again and received another email to send my concern to and still no response, this is very unprofessional and I do not have gap insurance to cover the rest of the damages caused by this tow company, autorama uses a fork lift to move cars around with not a single care in the world, I would like to get this resolved, I will never recommend this tow company for the life of me
This company is the worst towing company in NYC, when they tow your car they purposely damage it, so they can be the one to make repairs and charge you and your insurance company a fortune. This is criminal and they will be exposed and caught. Tell all the people you know to never use this company. The worst ever
Great service, I was involved in a car accident and provided excellent service to help fix my car. Mr Miguel was very kind and attentive about my car and my car looks brand new. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who has trouble with their car. Best mechanic I have been to yet.
I had an incident with my vehicle on friday 5/26 and Mike came to help me with towing. He was very kind, compassionate and went an extra mile more to help me out. He made me feel less nervous and was quick to take care of things. I appreciate the service that I received So thankful.
I was involved in a nasty accident last month. When I called 911 they sent a man from this company, Mike, who was very kind. The at fault driver was very nasty and I did not feel safe. This company was a blessing that day because Mike helped me gather the appropriate information from the driver and towed my car promptly.
Scammers!!! Worst customer service ever!! They committed insurance fraud and my insurance flagged them in their system so that people do not go here. They kept my vehicle illegally to get more money from my insurance and never provided me with a loaner car. The manager was extremely rude, disrespectful, obnoxious, and very unprofessional. As I was trying to resolve this issue the manager kept hanging up on me and was laughing obnoxiously. This is not the way you treat your customers. I typically do not write reviews but this was by far the most stressful situation I have ever experienced as a customer.

Hi my name is Al, I have a 2014 Ford Focus. My car was towed at Autorama Enterprises for collision repairs. I have to say Miguel and the whole staff did a amazing job. My car looks like it came from the dealer. Front desk wonderful people. Will definitely recommend Autorama Enterprises all my friends. If there was a rating from 1 to 10, I definitely would give them a 10. Once again thank you Miguel for taking care of my car.
This place had to pick up my car which was damaged on the highway. The guy, Angel, who picked me up with Pleasant, sweet, and sympathetic to my situation. He explained things carefully. I had just been in a situation and he was patient with me. Everybody on the staff was very nice, and respectful, and I can't say any more good things other than they were pretty awesome considering the situation I was in.

I was promised my car in 10 days and got it in 30 days.
They don't accept debit card payment in these modern and unsafe days in the Bronx.

One of the few tow companies authorized to pick-up cars on Bronx River Parkway; took over an hour to pick-up the car and they also refused to work on the car because it wouldn't be worth their time/money. Brought my car to another shop in the area that gladly performed the work. They also never replied to an inquiry about an invoice that was needed for insurance purposes. Only giving two stars because they actually showed up, but other than that avoid this place at all costs.
They are the only company authorized to tow on 87 otherwise I wouldn't use them. It's such a scam. First, they don't accept AAA, insurance, or any roadside assistance payment so it's out of your own pocket. Then, the tow truck driver saw I had 2 blow out flats and tried to tell me I had to pay almost double the quoted price if I wanted to be dropped off to get my tires fixed at a shop they work with. When I said no thanks, because I have wheel and tire insurance, he responded he was only going to tow me off the highway and not to my destination...which was less than 1 mile further. He literally dropped me off right off the exit ramp in front of an active truck loading ramp and a fire hydrant. Would not recommend unless you are forced like I was.
This towing company sent me a letter to state my vehicle was towed and stored at their lot. The vehicle was towed 8 days prior to the letter sent to me... The letter was dated for a Friday and states I need to contact the towing company 5 days from vehicle towed date. When I call the business, they refuse to talk to me until the following Monday and gave me the nastiest attitude when I try to explain my situation. They are very rude, unprofessional, and also try to charge you for the days that you are unable to pick up your car because they won't let you...
NEW EDIT: the company informed me why there was a delay and they worked with me to agree on a "fair" price. The staff ended up being polite today, so I am editing my previous response.
This body shop is the best. I work with Miguel and Dave, they are very professional they help me with my claim and my vehicle came out beautifully. I have a 2018 BMW 5 series . White In color. The job was perfect it looks like i just taken out of the dealership. The ladies In The office was awesome. They

I’ve had nothing but great customer service from day one of my accident. Angel, who came to my rescue with the tow truck was like heaven sent because he immediately made me feel at ease, assuring me that my car could be repaired and in a short time. Miguel, has been reporting back to me every step of the way and called today to state that my car will be ready in a few days. So, I will be back to report on how it all turned out! : ).
Very happy with the service and work done by these guys. Was involved in a collision on the highway and had a tow dispatched by the police. The driver had my vehicle hooked up, off the highway, and was very professional. The collision happened at night so waited until the next morning to get in touch with their office staff. Once again, very professional and pleasant people. I got a very fair estimate for repairs and in spite of extensive damage they had my car back on the road within a couple of weeks. Good quality work by their mechanics at a fair price with excellent service. I really have nothing negative to say about my experience.
Skimming through the other reviews I'm seeing a common theme for negative comments: People who don't understand the city's laws regarding authorized highway tows, people who got hung up with their insurance agents, and people with unrealistic expectations. If you fall into one of these silly categories, yeah, you may not be pleased. Everyone else though is likely to have a pretty easy time dealing with this business.
