What clients say about MVP Arena in Albany (NY)

Easy parking, steady flow through security, great concert. Hot as hell in the balcony area and seats so small they were really meant for teenagers. $9.00 for a bag of popcorn and almost $3.00 charge for using a debit card?!

This was my first time going to the MVP arena. I brought my 18 year old daughter for an A Boogie concert. There are plenty of parking garages in the general area however the traffic is pretty congested. I paid $20 for the Green-Hudson parking garage which is great considering it’s right across the street so it’s a short walk. It was crowded which we expected but the line was moving fast. Seating wasn’t an issue. Concessions stands weren’t jam packed. Paid $16.50 for a white claw and $6 for a pretzel. Water bottle $5.50. There were people standing around to get a better view I’m sure but that didn’t bother me. We’re all there to have fun! My only complains is that as we were exiting someone sprayed pepper spray and the security were still trying to make us go through the pepper sprayed area to exit the building. There was a nice security guard who showed us an alternate exit. If not for that I would have given 5 stars.

I took my daughter to see Disney on ice! It was so much fun. I think I liked it more than her lol. The place was clean and staff were friendly. Very over priced but I guess you're paying for the brand. I definitely recommend it though!

Went with grandkids to Disney on Ice. Great show! Bring $$$ for over priced Disney stuff. Easy in and out of the arena and parking garage. Staff was professional and friendly.

I go here every week and it’s awesome this is the coolest place I have ever been to in the whole entire world.Especially I go to every Siena men’s basketball home games .the second to last picture is my uncle prosper karangwa who played over seas and now works for the Philadelphia 76ers NBA team.

I was just here for Disney on ice, it was beautiful. This rating is honestly because why on earth do you NOT have proper changing placed for babies? We are talking walking down into the base floor to find half a chmaging table in the women's room and just ONE. SO IMAGINE MOMS AND THERE INFANT/TODDLERS WAITING FOR ONE TABLE. WILD!!! Do better guys i mean come on.

We attended the TSO event with family. You could not take a purse. You had to hold your phone and anything metal over your head through scanners. That was totally unreasonable. The seating is extremely uncomfortable. We were in 103 P and Q section. After 3+ hours of not being able to move my legs more than an inch or so, I was very uncomfortable for the last 15 minutes of the concert. I can't imagine how a man over 6 ft does it. I would not consider going again unless I had a seat on the floor or an aisle seat. The staff woman yelling orders on the way in was irritating. My only personal encounter was speaking to a security staff at the end of the evening just before we left whi was very pleasant. She was a lovely person. Parking was very reasonable at $20.00 for the garage but we were told to arrive very early to get a place which we did. All in all, I don't plan to ever attend anything here again. I've been to events in Philly, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts but this one was terrible.

Probably the most efficient entry process for a large venue we've ever had. Parked right across the street and pulled right out with out issue or delay. Acoustics were Great as well.

This is a wonderful venue. I have seen many shows here and have been on the floor and also in seats. Every place I've sat/,stood at was excellent.

Solid arena, decent facilities, good sound, easy to get to! Billy Strings ripped it up!

Saw Billy Strings here Nov25. Nice arena... Similar to MGM in Springfield. Concessions had your standard fare... Bathrooms were located down a flight of stairs which didn't bother me but should be noted. Viewing and acoustics were great.

Tip to horn domination of Siena over Bryant in NCAA men's basketball season opener for both clubs.

My husband , our son and I went to see the hot wheels event , it was great . The venue has lots of food and drink options . There was plenty of parking as well . The only complain I have is the seats are to close together . Everyone has to move if one person does , which was such a pain . We got the snow cone , Reese's dough bites , and pizza. Lines get very long for food/drinks !

I always come here for their show games and other events. The latest venue I attended was the You're My Best Friend comedy show by Adam Sandler. It was phenomenal he really brought a great show to Albany. I'm very grateful to be a part of this town and events. Look forward to coming here for more shows the atmosphere is always great.

We had an unforgettable experience at MVP Arena for my son's graduation! ? Everything was perfectly organized — from the parking to the seating and sound system. The arena was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough to hold all the proud families and friends. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the big screens made it easy to see every moment. A day we will always remember — thank you for being part of such a special milestone for the Class of 2025!

Plenty of parking nearby (both on-street and garages). A few local restaurants within walking distance. Concessions easily accessible from anywhere in the arena. Bathrooms are downstairs. Just note that they have size limits on purses that can be brought in.

It’s been probably 20 years since I’ve been up to the arena to see a concert. I gotta say Parking was simply easy in and out very easy to find a great place to eat before the show arena was clean organized no big lines to get in and out of decent prices at concession awesome concert.

We went here a few years ago to see the Monster Trucks and we loved it! It’s extremely loud obviously due to the noise from the trucks so make sure you bring headphones if you’re seeing the trucks . The event arena itself is huge and they have concession stands everywhere which is nice.

I am so disappointed and disgusted by the layout of this whole facility! HOW DARE YOU NOT HAVE ACCESSIBLE BATHROOM(S)!!! Having 1 stall in 1 place inside the WHOLE arena is absurd!!! The biggest embarrassing part is that this NON ACCESSIBLE BUILDING is in the states capital! ??♀️??♀️??♀️ Doggone shame!!! 1 elevator on 1 side and the 1 bathroom stall ALL the way on the other. It's just infuriating and egregious!!!

Not really a fan of this venue. There were people smoking all around us and no one to stop them. The seats are super steep and one poor girl fell. The saving grace was that Jelly Roll and Alexandria Kay were absolutely amazing!

We came to the MVP Arena to see All That Remains, Mudvayne and Megadeth. The arena has tons of space. The main problem is how hot the arena is. The secondary problem is the arena is not set up for concerts. The sound quality is definitely not what you would expect for the price. Parking was a lot better than expected.

I went here back in March for the fallout boy concert. While it was fun and a good memory but the speakers were soooooooo loud that I couldn’t really understand what anyone was saying on stage because of how loud it was, plus I made the mistake of getting floor seats so I had to stand the entire time.

Parking is $20 and there isn't a lot of it. Entrance is on the 3rd floor and you stand waiting to get in for a long time. There are only 3 security lines. No one was around to help find seats. Most of the 1st act people were lost and continually moving seats. If you're tall your legs will be cramped. We couldn't find any real food items. We drove 2 hours to get there and back. If it wasn't for Stevie Nicks I'd never go back again. Complete hot mess getting out of the parking garage. There was no one helping cars with directions or anything else. You are on your own! 45 minutes to get out of the lot into the road. The show was magnificent.

Just a great venue for concerts! It’s open air and you can see the trains pass next to the arena, which I loved. Wherever you sit you have a good view of the stage. I can’t wait to go back. I paid for the VIP parking which was worth it.

It's the only place to go for a big venue. But it has great parking. Great variety of food. The seats need to be updated. They don't provide good seating for larger people. You must have a tiny butt to sit in any of their seats. And they always over book their seats and you need to find a usher. They always correct the problems. And to many security officers have been extremely polite over the last year.

Came here to see For Kings & Country Concert. Arena was quick to get into, staff was friendly. Concession stands were all open, serving Beer, Food, popcorn, pretzels, etc. Seats were great for the concert. Lighting was great. Bathrooms were big & clean. Would definitely come here again.

MVP arena is pretty big for the area it's in. I came here for the first time and didn't know what to expect but I must say it's better than expected. Very spacious, clean, big bathrooms and tons of eateries here. This arena is definitely smaller than Madison square garden. The different seatings are easy to find too. So enjoy!

With needing accessibility for my husband in a wheelchair to minimize length of walk from parking garage into the venue and to an accessible section inside the arena, I made 2-3 calls to a number found online that addresses accessibility questions. I received excellent info on what level to park on in the garage that would allow me access to a bridge that brings you right into arena. They had my tickets at a remote site near where we would enter the center and had assistance finding our section. All in all, their direction made it very easy to get to the concert in a venue we had never visited before. Call and make arrangements ahead of time for accessibility needs. They were very accommodating.
