My experience didn't go perfectly, and the way this business handled it left me all the more impressed. First off, when you call Guardian, you immediately talk to real people who can both replace your windshield and schedule your appointment. That in itself is worth something. I called and got a next day appointment. When I arrived for my appointment I found out that the windshield that had been delivered to Guardian had a scuff on it and they rejected it. They were able to source another windshield in time and had it ready to go, they just wanted me to know it was from a different manufacturer. I wanted to keep things as close to OEM as possible so I asked them to order another windshield made by the OEM manufacturer. I had no reason to complain. They had made reasonable decisions to try to be able to handle the job when it was scheduled. Still, they were apologetic and wanted to do everything they could to accommodate me. The new glass was coming in the next day. Unfortunately, I would be working a 24 hour shift starting at 7am. I was surprised when they said that I could drop off the car and that they would drive it to my workplace to drop it off when finished. They did a great job and they did what they said they would. I highly recommend these guys. They know their stuff and I think you can count on them to do a great job and treat you right. One more thing I'll mention is that my job went through insurance and there was an issue connecting them to Guardian. Safelite runs a brokerage that handles glass claims for auto insurers, and they had a wrong number on file for Guardian, even though their number hasn't changed for years and is correctly listed on Google. I won't speculate as to why.

I highly recommend this place; good prices, the staff is friendly, the glass replacement was very fast (done by the next day), and the service was very professional.

Staff is so nice and understanding. I went there for the first time today and will definitely be recommending them to others! They did a great job replacing my windshield. It only took an hour.

I had a rock chip my brand new work van, I was very upset and had never had a windshield replace before. These guys were amazing! Had the windshield fixed in no time, I didn't miss any time working because of them. They even had to source a second windshield last second because my insurance gave them the wrong part number and they still got it done in the original time frame they told me. Friendly, professional, responsive and talented!

The Guardian crew arrived early for the appointment (after verifying that it was convenient) and replaced my rear windshield. They vacuumed out all of the shattered glas from inside the vehicle and took time to explain the whole process. They did an amazing job at a great price. I was more than pleased with their work!

Very affordable and fast service! Highly recommend them, they’re roughly 20%-30% cheaper (depending on the vehicle) than the bigger players like safelite but they’re a family owned business that does professional work. It’s literally a no brainer to choose them.

Had a Motorhome windshield taken out and replaced for some paint work. insurance paid for it and 4 hrs later the windshield came out at the corners. Never had sealer to hold it in. Had to take it to Hershey PA to have it installed correctly to the tune of 2,300.00 and Guardian sent me a letter that they would not pay for any additional work caused by the improper installation. ?

If you need your windshield replaced.....look no further! I researched around, and they have great ratings, reviews and price. Customer service is excellent. This business is hands down the way to go.

I experienced the best customer service ever!! 2002 Chevrolet Express work van, not the most common vehicle on the road. I called Thurs afternoon and spoke with Randy. He quoted me a great price. I had full glass coverage so that was not a factor. I asked when he could get me in and it was 9:00am Fri morning! I arrived at 9:00 and they were ready to go to work. Here is the best part. I had my windshield replaced 6 years ago at Safelight. I have satellite radio and the antenna is above the windshield. The cable ran under the windshield trim. Safelight glued the cable in the windshield channel 6 years ago, so Guardian had to be extremely careful cutting out the old windshield or they could have cut the satelite radio cable. No problem, windshield out and cable intact by 9:25. Now it gets even better. At 10:am they are done but ask if I am in a hurry because they would like to glue my plastic windsheild cowl cover together (it was in 4 pieces for the last 4 years and is a discontinued part). Really? Wow absolutely yes!! I'll pay for that!! When the job was done I asked what I owed for the extra work. They said NOTHING!! In todays service environment, this is unbelievable. I asked to speak with Joe (the owner) and he was actually pulling my van out of the shop. He is who glued my cowl back together! His son Matthew also worked on my van to make a team of 3. For you high end and newer car owners, do not be afraid to bring your car here. This shop is certified to re-calibrate all Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), I saw the certifications hanging on the wall. Thank you Joe, Matt and Randy!

Someone smashed the window of my girlfriend's car and other shops wanted me to wait 3-5 days to be seen. I came here instead and I'm glad I did, they took me within an hour of calling and finished the job in 30 minutes. Job well done and the price was more than fair!

Highly recommend Guardian Windshield! I called 5 other local shops but GW had the best price BY FAR and got me in immediately. They did a quality job replacing my windshield, transferred all of my stickers, and the customer service was 11/10. Randy was so kind, and I am very grateful for Joe's patience setting up my entire appointment via email. Thank you GW!!!

While driving on the highway last week, a pipe fell off of the car in front of me and completely shattered my windshield. This was the first place I called, and I spoke to Randy who not only went above and beyond to get my windshield fixed quickly, but was also so kind and wanted to make sure I was alright after the accident. He and the guys at the shop had my car looking brand new by the next morning!! They did amazing work, and even took care of some rust that was under the windshield at no extra charge. As I said, they went above and beyond and actually vacuumed out and cleaned all of the glass, which was EVERYWHERE in the car. I am so glad this is the place I went to. I highly, highly recommend them and am so grateful for all their help!!

My driver window wouldn't go up, so I went to Guardian Windshield, and they were awesome! They quickly figured out the problem and told me I just needed to get the parts. But what really impressed me was that they went ahead and put my window up for me until I could get everything. Once I got the parts, I came back, and they got the job done super fast. On top of that, their prices are insanely affordable! I’ll definitely be recommending them to anyone who needs auto glass help

We had an unexpected crack in our windshield and the guys at guardian got us in within 24 hours. They were friendly and efficient and honest with pricing. We were in and out within an hour. They even called us to let us know that there was availability to get us in sooner than our originally scheduled appointment. This is the only place I will go for car glass repair and replacement in Albany.

I had a great experience with Guardian Windshields. They did an amazing job replacing my windshield and only charged me $460, which is a huge difference compared to Safelite's $1200 quote. The quality of the work was excellent, and the team was respectful, thorough, and professional. They even came to my house to do the job. Highly recommend them!

Got the parts and the job done for a door window replacement 2 days after calling. Called a month later because the window was struggling to close in cold weather, and the issue was fixed gratis same-day. Affordable (half the price I was quoted by other competitors), efficient, and both courteous and friendly.

Cracked my windshield after a rock hit it on the highway. I was freaking out calling every place I could with no luck. These folks were able to get me in same day and fix my windshield within an hour! Very nice people with a good sense of humor. They were extremely helpful. Definitely worth the 1 1/2 hour drive!

Punched my windshield and made a nice crack across it. Gave these guys a call and booked an appointment. Didn’t have any openings during the week so they told me to come in on Saturday! In and out in an hour and a half. Definitely recommend!

A-Line is awesome all the way around. Great people to work with from front desk to the techs. I travel all over for work so it’s difficult to book appointments; they got my new windshield delivered in a reasonable time, same day, and installed while a waited. Insurance claim was a breeze as I only had to pay my deductible to the shop. Customer service is top-notch. I highly recommend. Also they have a comfortable couch and television for those who are waiting.
