brought my wifes quad there and John did great work, was having a hard time at idle without playing with the choke. he got it running like a top. Fixed a leak in the rear tire, unfortunately its slow leaking still. But thats a small thing. I plan on bringing my quad to have it gone over , oil change tune up etc . very fair pricing. Not like the ripoff dealers

John a great guy, And honest. Knows the business he treats his customers with so much respect. He’s my go to guy when I’m in jam.

John at Cycle Pro absolutely dialed in my suspension. I sent him my forks and shock for a full service and respring, and the bike feels like a completely different machine. Way more planted in the rocks, tracks straight through the whoops, and doesn’t deflect off every root in the woods anymore. He asked all the right questions about my weight, pace, and the type of riding/racing I do (ECEA hare scrambles/enduros), and he nailed the setup on the first try. Turnaround was fast, communication was solid, and the price was legit for the level of work he put in. If you want your bike to handle the way it should, hit up John at Cycle Pro. As an automotive technician of almost 30 years, I don't like people touching my stuff So when I need my dirt bikes or four wheelers worked on john at cycle pro is the only one I will let touch my stuff hands down good guy to do business with very professional and very knowledgeable and his work is top notch thank you cycle pro for the years of work!

Brought my 23 CRF300L Rally to get: a tail tidy, new pro taper bar, levers, hand-guards, grips and double take mirrors. John was very friendly and quick in the turn around time! Very happy customer…ill definitely be a returning customer.

We've been using Cycle Pro for years for any engine work needed on our enduro bikes or dual sports. We are hard on our machines and John's the only mechanic in the area I trust to diagnose motor issues, rebuild top/bottom ends or anything else that comes up. The suspension work he did on my KTM 300xc is still the gold standard for plushness in the rocks of NJ & PA.

Amazing shop, John is very knowledgeable when it comes to bikes. It's very clear once you start speaking with him. Handed over a 07 GSX-R for a very much needed maintenance all around and he got it done for me quickly, right before the weekend! Bike rides WAY better after he was done with it! Couldn't be happier. The total cost for all the work didn't break my bank either. Very respectable shop. Definitely give John a call if you need a trustworthy place for some motorcycle maintenance!

Brought my Kx 250f to John so he could rebuild my forks and dial in my shock as well. Bike is riding great now. Wish I took it to him sooner!

Extremely glad I found cycle pro. Have brought my bike in for a few different services. Regardless of the level of difficulty John has taken my bike nearly same day and had it back just as promptly. Going above and beyond on the services requested I couldn’t be happier to have found such a professional shop right up the street.

I’ve been bringing my motorcycles and dirt bikes (multiple makes / models) to John at Cycle Pro for over a decade. He not only does all my servicing, but he has done all my suspension work on motorcycles that I’ve needed to have lowered so that I can ride on them comfortably. The quality of his work and his knowledge of motorcycles is superb, which is what you’ll see in most of these reviews; but it’s his honesty and integrity that really deserves a 10-star review! It’s not easy to find any mechanic (car or bike) that you can say you 100% trust and will never put you in harms way … John IS that mechanic when it comes to bikes. Over the years, he’s told me “No” before when I’ve wanted to do some modification that would ultimately make a bike unsafe and I just didn’t know any better; he could’ve taken my money, made the modification, and I would’ve been none the wiser; but he won’t do that. He has an integrity and honesty that is truly admirable. Just an all-around great guy and an amazing mechanic! If Google had a 10 star review, he would get it.

Very knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile on customer service. They have done a variety of work on my motorcycle and it is always done well, fast and reasonabley priced. Highly recommend.

Brought John my quad after it left me stranded 40 minutes into the wood. With in a week the quad was done and better than ever. By the time John had finished the quad felt way different, more power, the motor sounded healthier felt like a whole new machine. I know I’ll definitely be back. 10/10

Cycle Pro is definitely the best shop around for working on motorsports! We gave John(I think) an extremely small and difficult dirt bike wheel to change the tube on and he did it extremely quick with a cheap price too! Would recommend to anyone in the area.

20/10! John's shop is fantastic. His suspension work on my Tuareg 660 completely changed my riding experience. He is very personable and will talk to you about your riding before doing any work so that you can the most out of your bike afterwards. John had my forks back to me very quickly as well, which is a rarity in the moto-service arena. In short - expert service with great communication. Glad to do business with them.

Excellent experience a Cycle Pro yesterday. I bought a used bike a few weeks ago and decided to go with Cycle Pro for a FULL service, tires and inspection after reading reviews and knowing how long his shop has been there. John at Cycle Pro is the best! He is knowledgeable and very honest, and for that I will always bring my bikes to Cycle Pro and recommend that anyone else do the same. Not to mention his turn around time is incredible! Service this great is hard to find.

John is very professional and knowledgable. Cycle Pro is a local gem when it comes to motorsports service/maintenance/sales and all things related. My husband brought his 1st generation quad racer in for a tune up and John was able to get the machine running beautifully, strong, snappy, and quick. Its a family toy we all enjoy, and John brought it back to life!

If i could give John more than 6 stars I totally would. He is one of the nicest people I have ever met in his line of work. He is so informative, def knows his stuff, and comes highly recommended, now i know why. I brought my brand new R3 to him for suspension work and he had that bike turned around in less than day, LESS THAN A DAY! You dont get service like that anywhere these days. His shop is for sure 10/10 and I will continue to take my bikes to him in the future.

John at cycle pro is an absolute wizard, I’ve been taking my bikes to him for years & he’s the only person I trust to work on my bikes. Besides being an absolute wizard behind the wrench, he’s one of the kindest people I’ve meet in the industry & always is willing to lean a helping hand. If you have any off road related issues or questions. John’s the go to guy, you won’t be disappointed! Insanely fair prices, very quick turn around & exceptional customer service.

I have a ktm 500. John worked on my suspension and engine. My bike handles and performs excellent. I highly recommend using him. He is very responsive and his pricing is very reasonable. I won't go to anyone else.

This shop is the jewel of motorcycle shops in the whole of the northeast. John is an incredibly knowledgeable guy who does fair and fantastic work. He machined and assembled new components for my dirt bike’s suspension and not only did he do the requested lowering on my WP suspension, but the new components as well as his recommended settings made me and the bike ride better than ever. Pure joy on the machine now.

Small but big on helping the bike community. John does excellent motor work. He has done many motors for us and we have great faith in his work.

I can’t say ENOUGH good things about John and cycle pro. We have had our fair share of bad experiences when it comes to our quad and repairs. People taking advantage or over charging. John is anything but that. He’s honest and has amazing and fair pricing for the job he’s doing. My recommendation is to forget anyone else your using for your Motorsport needs and just go to cycle pro. He has been our go-to and never disappoints. He loves what he does and it shows!

I brought my 2024 Suzuki DR 650 to John at Cycle Pro, when two Suzuki dealers in Northern New Jersey were unable to schedule my bike for repair. The dealer I bought the bike from couldn’t guarantee the work would completed in a timely manner. They suggested I drop off the bike and they would try to get to it over the next couple of weeks!! This was a brand new Suzuki DR 650 model year 2024 with only 23 miles on it. The bike sat over the winter for approximately one month and would not start. Both dealers referenced the fuel in the bike as the culprit “yeah ok” when in fact, the fuel was only two months old and had fuel stabilizer put in it over the winter. I questioned the fuel being the cause and was told that the work to repair the bike would not be a warranty item on a brand new motorcycle because it had to be the fuel causing the no start!! The second dealer I contacted said he wouldn’t be able to get to me in until sometime in November 2024 9 months later because he had no staff to make the repairs. The one good thing he did do though was recommend John at Cycle Pro. I called John and he said to drop off the bike asap. It was dropped off and returned to me three days later, and guess what!! There wasn’t a problem with the fuel. It was debris in the fuel system that occurred during the manufacturing process that was causing the problem just like John thought it might be. He diagnosed the problem, cleaned and adjusted the carburetor, and now the vehicle starts and runs better than it ever did, including the day I picked it up from the Suzuki dealer. And FYI the gas that was in the motorcycle was used to drive the motorcycle from Hackettstown to Morristown without a single problem . Unfortunately, many dealers only sell the product but don’t service it and it’s people like John that make all the problems go away. I recommend if you have any kind of motorcycle problem that you go see John Aquino at Cycle Pro in Hackettstown and make sure that he gets to fix your bike and no one else. I assure you, you will not be disappointed. Thanks again John for a great experience. Five stars all the way.!!!!!!!

This place is awesome! John the owner helped us out in a pinch. We needed my husband's front tire for his Road king put on the rim, mounted and balanced. We dropped the bike off at around 3:30 on 6/28 and he said it would be ready by 6/29 around 11 am. We came home after we dropped the bike off and he called us at 5pm and said it was ready! We went up on 6/29 to pick it up and he did a great job and even cleaned the bike. The price was excellent and he's a really nice guy. When you see the place from the outside it doesn't look like much but don't judge a book by its cover. Definitely worth going to him. Thanks so much John!

When I ask mechanics if they will work on my Buell they run for the hills. Not John and his crew, they welcomed me and my ride with enthusiasm. They did a regular PM, including spark plugs, not an easy feat on the Ulysses.They also rebuilt the fork shocks and set them to what they thought they should be set for me, they were spot on! I've been riding it for two weeks now and it's like I have new bike! Thanks guys!
