Amazing atmosphere especially the roof top, spectacular views , great drinks and music . Best lobster rolls ever.

Last weekend, we grabbed food from the food trucks and drinks from the rooftop bar just in time to enjoy the most spectacular sunset. The lobster roll was best I’ve ever had!! Amazing! Bartenders were attentive. Great experience all around.

This place is awesome, except the food! Band was great atmosphere beautiful, and the market that just started is a great addition. But the food? Wow, my$16.00 grilled chicken sandwich was a hockey puck on a stale roll. I couldn’t bite through it and the stale bun which is twice the size was crumbling away as I’m attempting to eat it. 3 of us got this and the other three got the pulled pork, same thing only this was $18.00. Cold, chewy and again super stale roll. It’s a shame. We’ll return for the music and atmosphere but definitely not the food.

I love this spot. The atmosphere is great. Things to do while drinking and hanging out. They played lively music. We had a family corn hole tournament.

Incredible on bay location with great staff. Food choices a bit limited but what they have is good. Surprisingly good lobster roll but a tad pricey for food truck but it is summer in a resort town.

Prop at the Boatyard has a terrific vibe and was great right off the beach late afternoon on a Saturday. Drinks were well made and the bartenders made sure no one waited long despite the crowd. Well done!

stopped in during local summer and it’s the best vibe Edit: back for year two and love all the updates!

They had a Stars and Stripes event which brought out huge crowds however it was not staffed appropriately. The line to the bar was about four people deep and then when you get up to the bar, it was an additional half an hour to get drinks. There were two bartenders on each side of the bar. They were only able to do drafts and canned beverages. There was a wait to go upstairs in the inside because they were at capacity. I waited over 20 minutes in line for the women’s bathroom. The food is from a food truck so average. This bar does have a great atmosphere outside especially the light show at night. We will never go again for a big event and we live locally.

What a missed opportunity! We gave The Boatyard a second chance, hoping to fully enjoy its gorgeous, sprawling grounds earlier in the day with a group of 14 friends and family. Our first visit was close to closing (9pm), and I was so looking forward to experiencing the beauty of the place properly. While the setting itself is indeed stunning and has immense potential, that potential feels completely wasted. We found the food truck selection to be quite small, but the real issue arose from an incredibly disappointing interaction between a bartender and someone in our group. This incident was so off-putting that we decided to leave immediately. It's a shame that such a beautiful place is marred by what felt like poor manners and a general lack of atmosphere beyond the scenery. We're very disappointed and will not be back.

Great outdoor venue! Enjoyed the food and the rooftop. Kids played in the basketball court, cornhole area and trash can pong. Beautiful views from the The Prop Bar and Rooftop. Outdoor bar on the rooftop. Restrooms are in the Prop Bar level and by the food stations. Beer Garden was packed. Boats came in for lunch and drinks. Staff on docks to receive lines and tie up. Check it out.

Always look forward to stopping here with my family to kick off vacation. Great food and great beer

We have enjoyed the lobster rolls over the past few years. This year the lobster roll was served on a stale bun, the lobster in both rolls was entirely claw and tasted like chopped previously frozen precooked meat. At just under $40/ roll they should have at least thrown away the stale rolls. The setting is lovely, go for the drinks and probably eat before you go. To be fair, I didn’t try the fish sandwiches but given my experience, I assume that the fish is sourced from Costco frozen foods

So very weird place, you can get drinks at the bar and go sit on the rooftop, however you have to go to the ground level to order from the food trucks. Also you can’t bring food up to the bar on the second floor. The location is beautiful, but you do need to park far away and walk. Odd setup for sure.

Great view and a large place. Perfect For kids or a group. Menu offerings are super small tho. Coconut shrimp was great. Fish tacos were okay.

Love coming to The Boatyard. Atmosphere is chill, lots of docking. The dockhands are very helpful. FYI can't start a tab at the bar. Lots of options at the bar and the rum punch is amazing!

Fun outdoor very large waterfront setting. Lots of outdoor games. Seating expansive with both covered and open areas. Places for boats to dock and grab a beer. Lots of drinks and beers offered. Sadly no dark beers. The food looked good but was pricey. Lots of free parking.

We really enjoyed the food at The Boatyard. My lobster roll was absolutely delicious! The free activities were great too. We loved playing cornhole after we ate. My daughters enjoyed playing the blacktop games.

First time visiting on a Friday night. Met some friends for happy hour. Such a cute place. Who doesn't like to see an amazing sunset!! (Pictures not edited at all, from my android phone)! I always heard about it and finally saw for myself. Although that night it was mostly vacationers, it wasn't real crowded. We did eat the tacos, which weren't the best, but they were ok, little pricey too. Overall can't wait to go for happy hour again!

Great atmosphere with a cool outdoor, family-oriented atmosphere. There are basketball courts for kids while the parents hangout and have fun. There are two area, essentially food trucks, that supply seafood and american food.

I can not say enough good things about this place. It is a one-of-a-kind on LBI (not really on the island but you need to drive past it to get onto the island). It reaches across all demographics and welcomes everyone. If you are old, cool! It's easy to get in and out of. If you are young, there are lots of young people hanging out and having fun. If you have kids, great! Plenty for them to do (corn hole/basketball/sit on the docks/eat etc). If you have dogs, bring them along. Its a pet friendly place. The food is great and while I am not a drinker, I am told the selection of beer/drinks is good (everything is in a can so keep that in mind). The other asset they have is the most amazing staff. Everyone is friendly/accommodating and just plain happy to be working there. A HUGE SHOUT OUT to the manager, Cayenne, who went ABOVE AND BEYOND for me recently. I left my purse there by accident and not only did she track me down, but she returned the purse to me and in it were things that were absolutely invaluable to me. So, take it from me--this place should be TOP ON YOUR LIST of places to visit for lunch/dinner/cocktails or just plain people watching. Thank you to the development team for bringing such a gorgeous establishment to our Island!

Nice place, wide open and covid friendly. They have good stations outside for seafood and land options, lobster rolls or hamburgers. Nice beer selection. You can dock your boats.

A lot of people were here when we docked we needed some lunch. I got chicken tacos I would of expected the tacos to be a little bit bigger considering the price 3 mini tacos it should say for $10 I got chicken shrimp and fish were $13 BUT they were really delicious I would recommend trying them. My other friend got 3 mini cheeseburgers and said they were really good. The cheese fries were good as well but everything was to expensive. The bar is in the rented area and they wanted $8 for a small alcohol drink that was crazy price and a small cup. Never would buy a drink from there again. Bring you own from your boat next time.

We stumbled onto this beer garden/bar/restaurant and I’m so happy we did! The beautiful location right on the water surrounded by docks is superb! While the menu is limited, the food came out quick and was delicious. For non beer people be aware that there were limited cocktails available, but it is a beer garden after all. I love an establishment with cornhole and basketball too! We left happy and satisfied.

Great place, pricey seafood but it is quality. The Lobster roll is HUGE. ? and ?Tacos are great as well & the sides (corn off the cob) are a nice sized portion. Good looking ? garden, lots of smiling faces, a steady flow of boats arriving and departing. They have corn hole, ? courts & large covered areas to take shelter from the hot ? while taking it all in. All around a fabulous addition to the LBI Region right on Cedar Bonnet Island.

Had a bloody Mary ($10) which is spicy and a Tito's cocktail ($8) which is like lemonade and not strong at all. The view is nice. We didn't order any food. We are vegan and there is a veggie burger for $13, which is pretty steep (no fries included). Might come back with visitors but not just for ourselves. A little too pricy.
