I went to Shore Auto Center multiple times for multiple reasons, I'm always satified with their service. All my referals feel the same way. The prices are really fair...I highly recommanded them to anyone who wants their car to be well fixed
Once again, Cliff does NOT disappoint! Called and scheduled an appt for my son’s car for what appeared to be a front break issue. By the sound it was making; I was worried that it was gonna be on the pricey side and we made arrangements to drop off his car that evening. The NEXT MORNING, I got a phone call that his car was all done! A rock had found its way into one of the wheels and caused some minor issues. Got rid of the rock, some new brake pads, and LESS THAN $150 later and we’re all set! It’s refreshing to know that HONEST mechanics STILL exist and will fix what NEEDS to be fixed rather than dropping it off at a dealership who will charge you $100/hour and find SEVERAL other things that coincidentally “need to be addressed”, with a bill into the THOUSANDS! You’ve found a family mechanic for our family Cliff and I thank you once again! See you on the next one!

This is one of the best businesses I know, auto or otherwise. Cliff is honest, fair, accommodating, and great at what he does. He fixed issues that the dealership couldn't resolve. I'd give 6 stars if I could.
Stopped in to ask the owner, Cliff, if he could remove my existing exhaust system and replace it with a new Flowmaster system for my 2016 RAM 1500. Arrangements were made to drop it off at the end of the day and would be done the next day. I dropped of my truck at 3pm on Tue, 3/4 and expected to pick it up sometime on Wed. Less than an hour and a half later, I received a call from Cliff telling me it’s all done and ready for pickup! Not only SUPER fast, but was fairly charged for his work, which was MUCH cheaper than I expected! I’ll be HAPPY to give him ALL of my vehicles’ service as he is one of the FEW, HONEST mechanics still around. Thank You Cliff!
Our car broke down the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. We were heading home from LBI. Could not find anyone to fix it except him. He was wonderful and fast. Thank you again so much!!!!
Made a life long customer out of me! I live in my precious Toyota Sienna and I’m in town visiting family/nannying and I drive all of the country working seasonal jobs. My van started misfiring and I was so nervous because I have about 3000 miles of driving coming right up and not a lot of money. After calling around and being priced out I found Shore Auto and immediately was welcomed to come right by, my van was looked at free of charge and right off the bat, even after replacing some of the spark plugs and coil, Shore Auto was all about helping me out financially. I can’t express my gratitude and appreciation enough. My van is back in action and I feel so ready to hit the road here soon. Even though I don’t live around here I will never stop recommending this place and I will always have it in my pocket for when I am back in this area. THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH FOR YOUR KINDNESS!!!!!
Check engine light came on for overheating. This guy was aces! Had a sense of urgency and 100% transparency. Honest and funny guy. Definitely will be loyal to his shop going forward. I live in Barnegat I drove past 4 auto shops to get to this one and I am glad I did. Reviews are accurate! You could tell he drinks a lot of coffee because he was zooming around to get things done!
Whacked an object coming home from Easter dinner and destroyed my tire. As soon as he opened I called and went over and fixed my tire on the spot. 10/10 would recommend going here.
In a world full of people trying to screw you over, it’s so refreshing to meet a mechanic who is honest with you about what your car needs, gets it done quickly, and charges a fair amount to get it all done. And all with a smile. Highly recommended.
So grateful for Cliff. Our truck broke down on lbi last night on the boulevard, a tow truck driver thankfully got us up and running and was able to tell us the issue. My husband called SAC this morning and Cliff got us right in and was so kind and helpful. If we didn’t live in CT, Cliff would be our regular mechanic! We are truly grateful for Cliffs kind professionalism AND being open on a Sunday!! Do not hesitate to go there if you have any car troubles. You will be in great hands!
I’m not one to do reviews but I had to I have bounced around from shop to shop always getting ripped off THIS PLACE IS THE ONE AND ONLY place I will go to his prices are AMAZINGLY fair he’s honest and nice! And FAST! I have never said this about any shop I been to so please GO TO HIM u won’t regret it! And thanks again cliff!!!!
Cliff was honest and extremely fair with his price for a brake job. I was impressed and grateful that he was open on Sunday, returned my call within 10 min and finished the job within an hour. This positive experience really saved our vacation. He keeps a very clean shop and office. Would highly recommend him to anyone on or off the island.
Honesty is a huge factor with mechanics and that’s what this shop represents - honesty. Integrity and reliability along value. I’m on the island and he is well worth the drive. It’s never easy to find a quality mechanic and this is one that I highly recommend. I post very few reviews but my two experiences made me need to let others know about quality of shore auto center
Was in Beach Haven when my car broke down and was lucky to find Shore Auto. He answered the phone and said bring it down. 24 hours later it was fixed! It's not easy to find a good mechanic, let alone on the island and i just got lucky I found him. Highly recommend as he was fast, honest and experienced. Don't get fooled by island rates go to Shore Auto
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs work done on their vehicles. The guy is really nice and easy to talk to. Great prices!!! Plus very quick at what he does. Prompt professional service!!!
