Was in search for a spare rim which is rarely hard to find and spoke with Mike who pleasantly answered the phone. Unfortunately, they did not have it in stock but Mike took the time and provided me other locations which may have it. Luckily enough the recommended place had it. I have been coming to central jersey auto since I bought my baby in 2021 and I have to say they truly never miss! It’s rare I come here and they don’t have what I’m looking for none out of ten times if one spot doesn’t have it the other does and they bring it over! The staff is amazing very nice and always accommodating to whatever you might need! Definitely check them out

I cannot say enough great things about Dave and his shop. My Son, had an unfortunate situation happen with his car, where his engine blew up. This was a very stressful situation, as you can imagine a 20-year-old having to deal with such a major repair, but Dave was there for us every step of the way. Dave found us a replacement engine within hours and completed the full repair in a very timely manner and at a very fair price. Dave's communications were 5 stars as well, for he was continually giving us updates every day. He went above and beyond to also do his own research on the used engine we were purchasing, and we relied on his expertise to feel comfortable with this major repair. Dave has definitely earned all of our future business, and I strongly recommend to others. I can honestly say that I have never had such a great experience with a mechanical shop like I did with Dave at Central Jersey Auto Salvage!
I was honestly shocked by the positive reviews of Central Jersey Auto Salvage. My experience was far from good. After purchasing a car, it became clear that they don’t stand behind the vehicles they sell. The car had multiple issues, and when I tried to reach out for support, the owner was rude and unhelpful. He cut me off mid-conversation and showed no interest in resolving the problem. Given how negative my experience was, I can’t understand how anyone could leave a positive review. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
It was great dealing with CJS recently. Finally decided to get a car removed. Upon calling spoke with the rep. Max was great in making our schedules work, gave a fair payment, including the tow.Actually pick up was by another gentleman, Dave who also was very prof. Full of advice.
I have to give some credit for my first experience, 3 stars is appropriate. I had a much better experience when i forst called a few weeks back. I called today to ask about a part (02 galant driver door) that I've been needing for a vehicle because I own a dealership and I repair some cars from Salvage to reconstructed.
I speak to a gentleman on the phone 2/15/2025 at 10:15am. Nice, but rude at the same time.
I asked about a door for a vehicle and their hours for today, he stated they close at 2pm. The website says 4pm when i checked after the call and Google says 3pm. I move on to tell him that I am almost 2 hours away, I will be picking up a part from another location and I would like to pick up the door at the same time, since I will be in the area. He apologized and stated he would not be able to pull the part for today, it will be for Monday. I know it does not take much to unbolt a door, but if its policy, I understand. I own a business, but I would not do business that way and lose a potential sale and or customer.
I then move on and asked him how much was the price of door again,( to gauge if it was worth the wait or look elsewhere). He then says, " if you called about it before, they didn't tell you the price sir?". I immediately felt his lack of respect was valid and said nevermind sir and disconnected the call.
I wrote this review with hopes it will be read by a manager/owner, because clearly, there is not one on the weekend. If he is the manager, any potential customer, beware!!
I just got off a long shift and I held a nice tone, respectful and reached out to this establishment for my business and the last thing a person needs is someone to treat your needs as if they are not as important. If it was for him or his friends/family, I'm sure he would have moved mountains .
There was enough time and effort to handle this differently and he chose the lower part of the ladder. I would have gladly taken the door off myself, if allowed. Please do better, not everyone deserves a hard way to go. Trust me, there's a difference and all dealerships are up for license renewal, I have enough on my plate. He was not nasty, just rude. I know the difference in good service and a person who doesn't care. It was uncalled for, you really could have made a difference today.
I now have to wait and search elsewhere for this door and the closes is 270 from here in that color. I would rather go the distance if it means I won't be treated like that.

I was looking for a spare tire kit for my Renegade which was not available at the dealer unless I was to pay 1600.$ I called C&J auto salvage and spoke with Max. He couldn’t help me with his inventory but recommended a website. I now have a spare tire for under 400.$

I called this a.m. 10/19/24 for a part listed on line. A hood ( Stock # DF1217 ); they have 3 available for my vehicle, all the same price as quoted over the phone, even though they are listed as different conditions on the web site. Was told I could not look at the part before buying it. Would have to put down a deposit, part would be pulled and if I did not like it they would find another (?). In all my years of dealing with junkyards, I never heard of such a thing.
Also asked if they could install it, said maybe, but "wasn't sure" even though I told him 3 times, when he asked, that current vehicle was not in an accident. Either you can install a hood or you can't.
I needed other parts as well and live in Ocean County. However being that you have to essentially buy a part first without seeing it; I would NOT recommend this recycling parts center.
After posting this, I read the other 1 star reviews and some of the blunt replies by management. Wow!
Drove two hours to look at a car, and they didn’t have it ready for me to test drive. They apologized and the owner came and personally apologized that we drove so far and it wasn’t ready, and they got it ready pretty quickly. They were helpful in answering all my questions without pushing me to make a decision. I bought the car and they made sure it was good to go before we left, checking the oil, and all. I’d definitely buy from them again.
Without a doubt thee best salvage/used parts yard around, hands down. Great customer service, patience and understanding. My 18 year old daughter needed a driver side mirror assembly which is painted charcoal grey, well every other place has every color but what I needed. CJ auto salvage thought they had one that I needed but it was black, well they knew that I was dealing with my brat daughter 🤣🤣JK but they went and ordered me the right one and color. All for the price quoted which was very reasonable. Thanks again for the professionalism

I've read good and bad reviews of this company. My personal experience was great. Made a deal and they picked up my truck within 45 mins. Handed over the title and keys and it was done. The driver was exceptional polite, did not rush, did not ruin the gravel drive. Would absolutely recommend this company.
Absolutely an amazing business. Drove all the way from Delaware to pick up an engine and the guys at the shop treated us like friends and took care of us very well. Amazingly priced items in the shop from the salvage yard. Would recommend anyone to come here at any time. Really good guys with up-beat attitudes.
