I am a return customer. We have used Tilton several times over the years and we have always found them to provide quick and correct estimates, the staff is professional and courteous and their work is quality work.

Never let them tow your car. 3 wheels on the flatbed 1 hanging off they don't care. They put everyone in danger on the road when they are. I had one of their guys harass me for filming them pick up a car once. Plenty of other local options to choose from.

Mike and the ladies are very kind and courteous, addressing my need to have my vehicle repaired as soon as possible. Unfortunately, I have had my vehicle in their shop multiple times this year, and each time it was repaired quickly and looked like new.

Great job on the body and cleaning the vehicle. Not driving right and a hose was disconnected. Too long of a time to get my car back. Waited for parts to bring car in and still took a long time. Then another part was needed. Then finally we picked the car up and are still waiting for another part. Don’t know if that was their fault or not. Glad to get my car back but not riding correctly and now there’s a major oil leak from my car. Brought it to the dealer to see what they think.

Tilton is a fabulous place. Friendly and stick to their word. They tell you how it is and how to properly submit a claim. The girls in the office are as sweet as can be. As I waited for my truck, it was nice to be around and office staff that clearly cares for each other, and client's like me! they did a great job on my Ford XLT..I was hit on my driver side. My C pillar was damaged..the paint match is 100%! Mike was thourough, professional and I wasn't treated like a "woman" or a "wife". He took my concerns very seriously. I would recommend Tilton to anyone! Luna is a fabulous addition! Thank you guys!

I got my car , and I am so happy; it gave a new life; i was glad I trusted this company for my first time to have major accident; they did a good job, clean inside and out; and so far no problem on the engine or anything affected from Accident

The tyrants at Titon exist only to get their hand on ur hard earned car and money. Once they do, they will put you through a wringer of mind numbing bureacracy, outright hostility, and milk you for their own profit with no concern for you. Dont ever use them.

I had body work done to my truck here after being involved in an accident. This place was great. Dropping off my car was a breeze. I was out of there in 5 minutes. They even arranged a rental car for me. Super friendly staff. The entire job was done in under two weeks. My car was fully detailed when I picked it up. I highly recommend Tilton's for auto body repairs. I would defintely use them again.

Everyone at Tilton Auto Body were awesome especially Mike and Cheryl they kept me informed with my progress along the way and did a great job with my repairs

I can’t say enough good things about Tilton. It’s a family run business. After retrieving my car, I accidentally spilled syrupy coffee all over my front seat. I was worried that it would smell. I went back to them and they cleaned my front seat out of the goodness of their hearts. Incredible body work and very nice people. ??????????

This is not the first time I used Tilton. As soon as I was given their name I was very happy. I was given up dates and they kept me well informed of my car progress. They were helpful in getting my rental car back to the rental shop also.

Great auto body shop. Wonderful staff. The car looked great when they were finished. They did a wonderful job restoring my bumper. Would definitely use them again. Top-notch customer service. And my car looked detailed!

You can always tell the caliber of a company by the way it treats its employees. Everyone was warm and friendly. We went over the work that was to be done and then my car rental company picked me up. The whole process was seamless. Tilton kept me informed as to the progress of my vehicle as well as the insurance company. This made my life easier. When it was time to pick up my vehicle, I was blown away! I almost didn't recognize it. It never looked so good. A mirror shine and vacuumed interior made this suv gleam in the sunlight. They made a used car look new. I can not exaggerate how pleased I am with my choice to use Tilton autobody in Lakewood. If I were to ever find myself in this situation again, Tilton autobody would definitely be my only choice.

My car needed some body work (passenger door needing to be replaced and some of the surrounding area) after getting hit. Took my car to Tilton through GEICO as they are partnered. Tilton fixed my car within 1 week. The work looks great, the color is matched perfectly. Had my car worked on at a couple other places (one being a dealership) and you can easily see the part they replaced due to the color not matching. Overall they did a great job in a timely manner. Everyone that I dealt with was super friendly as well, couldn’t have asked for more.

A month ago, the rear of my car was badly smashed when someone rear ended me when I was at a red light. I am glad I didn't work with the company the insurance recommended. The car was ready in just over 1 week, which was faster than I was expecting. Plus, they thoroughly cleaned my car! An all-around great experience.

At tiltons they were very genuine people, they care about their customers & when I got my car back I was very satisfied with everything they brought my car back very clean inside & out .They make sure the body work on my car was well done. Trust me you will not be disappointed at all , thank you for the experience!

One of our trucks in our fleet was severely damaged in a auto accident, truck was only a few hundred dollars from being totaled. We got truck back today from Tiltons and it’s perfect. Everything lined up perfect. We also had an issue as this truck sat in there yard after completing for months before we picked up. They did not charge us a storage fee instead they said they wanted to wash it before we came to get it. That’s great customer service.

My vehicle was towed here after I was in collision. First off, the car was towed here without my authorization. Then I ended up with a bill of nearly $600 for having my car in the lot for only 4 days!!! Aside from that they charged me $175 for a 15min local tow and all of these extra bogus fees that are probably made up. I later found that the interior of the car was soaked in water because one of the glass T-tops had shattered. No care from these people just $$$$$.

Great service soup to nuts with regards to handling car rental and dealing with insurance company. Finished product was acceptable. Could have been better. Some over spray left on windows and blemishes in paint. I'm a bit more critical than most. I've detailed cars for over 20 years so I can grade with confidence. Not the best I've seen but not bad.

Avoid at all costs, ask the police to be towed elsewhere, these people are just plain THIEVES. They charge you twice for storage AND yard, twice for cleaning AND applying lysol to door handle and steering wheel. Totalling almost 400 dollars when ANY other company would charge you less than half of that. And to top it all, of course no masks, and a nasty attitude like they're doing us a favor for taking our money, hung up on us when we call back for a follow up... Just plain the worst place I've ever visited.

I could not have been more pleased with the service I got from Tilton. I never thought my car could be repaired - but it was “like new” when complete! In time and on budget. No hastles at all. Great job.

The owner is rude!!!! Went there twice to look at my car the got towed there.. he said he was going to charge me 25 dollars if I came back again. I honestly thought he was joking.... business owner to business owner. That's not how you treat custoners.. I was considering bringing my personal car there because the facility looks great. But after the owners comments, I do not recommend this place at all. You lost business, and I will spread the word..

The man who towed my car here was very rude, the people working behind the front counter were not very helpful nor friendly. The guy working the lot was very nice though that's the only reason I didn't give this place one star. I wouldn't recommend coming here if you can avoid it, especially if you're a female.

After being involved in a fender bender, my insurance company sent me to Tilton Body in Lakewood (they offered $100 off my deductible if I went with one of their preferred shops). The quote came in $30 cheaper than the deductible, so the insurance co. didn't put any $ out. Tony was very quick to work with me on pricing, told me to bring the car in on a Wednesday and promised to have the car ready for Friday morning. The job was completed by Thursday evening, didn't even take a full two days! BETTER YET, the guys were awesome and kindly detailed the inside of my car, looks/feels like a brand new vehicle. Thanks again Tony and staff, I will for sure be back and will be referring you to anyone in need of body work!!!

I just wanted to come on here and thank Tony & Denise for the great service at their Body Shop. I have brought a few cars there over the years and I've always been very happy with their customer service, quality of work and prices. If you need body work for your car, Tilton in Lakewood is worth going to. I live in Toms River, but if I need an honest body shop, I go to Tilton Body Works. Everyone that I referred there over the years has been very HAPPY with their experience. THANKS TONY & DENISE!
