The Headlight Was Low On My Car. Went To My Appointment With The Dealership(1st/last mistake). They Told Me The Price For The Bulb And Labor, I Left. Went To Auto Zone And Met The Nice Guy Yesterday Morning. I Think His Name Was Kenny. I Told Him I Was Going To Write A Review About Him Bc I Appreciate The Fact That He Didn’t Try To Take Advantage Of Me As A Customer Being A Woman. I Know About Cars/Car Parts. I Expressed The Issue And He Took Care Of It Right Away! He Was Patient And Polite, Which I Appreciate And The Price For Just The Part And His Labor Was Done Efficiently. Thanks So Much!

For the location, it’s really not bad… besides the armed security guard wearing a bulletproof vest, it’s just like any another autozone.. I would suggest calling ahead; too make sure they have what your looking for

The worst store in jersey city. From the manager to the employee are unknowable and they don’t even find a very simple part. They are in slow motion if you go to buy a part you have to spend 1 hour there. Please do not waste your time in this store.

I want to give a huge shoutout to "G" (I think his name is Guillermo) at the Communipaw Ave location. He went above and beyond when helping me retrieve an item that had fallen inside my car hood. Without hesitation, he stepped out of attire, got down on the oily ground, and managed to pull the item from underneath my car. His willingness to go the extra mile truly exceeded my expectations. I was extremely embarrassed, but he reassured that he'd help me. "G" deserves all the praise (and honestly, a raise) for his exceptional customer service and dedication. He truly made my day!!! He deserves more than 5 stars.

Well Well I would say I go there all the time yes they’re nice but some of them don’t know much about cars I needed some antifreeze that person told me to buy the orange gallon the antifreeze is green witch is not what my car should use I did my own research I bought another one from Walmart witch is blue google instructed me to put when I tell you my car used to jump it doesn’t jump anymore some of them will mess up your car if you’re not careful by the way I’m a female there was another part I needed again someone gave me wrong part thank God Mr Peter was here he saved the day he’s so nice and knowledgeable.

The girl made the mistake of selling me the wrong rotors and brakes they can’t accept the brakes back?! And the rotors now cost more for someone’s mistake they should have honored it but trash is as trash does the guys are chill but the male manager is garbage go somewhere else

After a stressful day with a sudden and inexplicable dead battery that would not take a charge, l was advised to hurry to the Jersey City auto zone before it died again. The store was impressive and had an efficient and clearly knowledgeable staff. Cory greeted me with a smile, explained what was needed, and gave me options that fit into my budget. And then one of their “techs” got the work done right away! I couldn’t be happier with this store and the calm cheerful service I received. Thank you Auto Zone and Cory!

I came in today for a battery test and Daly helped me, Unfortunately my car would not start and she was kind enough to help me get my car started . Her customer service was great and would highly recommend anyone who comes in to go to her !

Horrible store, lot is full of homeless ppl offering to work on your car, customer service is seriously degraded at this location, also, this location's inventory is out of wack, everytime I look online or on app for products, it says they have plenty, and when you go to the store; they never have the items. This location really needs to get it straight

Thank you Sade for assisting me today. She is professional, respectful, and attentive to the consumers. The only reason why this review isn’t 5 stars is because of Peter The store manager. He is incompetent, disrespectful, lacks leadership qualities and does not like to follow store policies on returns. He acts like he owns the store and nobody is above him. I bought a few items from autozone and wanted to return $10 wrench. I showed the receipt to Peter and he refused to issue me my refund. He then tried to lecture me and I didn’t want to hear that bull ish. I just wanted my money back on 1 item out of the 4 that I purchased. He didn’t like that I disagreed with what he was saying and I asked several more times for my money back and he refused. So I yelled at him about my refund and how there isn’t a policy posted in the store about refunds. He gently slides the wrench to me, ignored my request for a refund and walked away. He should not be a store manager and his customer service skills were so atrocious that i had to call corporate on him for my bum ahh $10 refund. Thank you to the regional manger for helping me out and forcing Peter to issue the refund. Peter was salty and quiet but abided by his bosses orders. You all need a new store manager because all of this could’ve been avoided if he would’ve just gave me my money back when I asked. Consumers have enough going on in their life and don’t need the headache, especially if we are paying their bills.

I bought wipers for my vehicle the person whom installed it didn’t do it right, wiper flew off and broke my windshield the manager Peter has the nerve to tell me he doesn’t see how the wiper broke the wind shield. Instead of holding his employee liable for the mistake he made I have to pay for the mistake. Not fair at all, as I see per the reviews this is what they do don’t hold their employees accountable for their mistakes.

Needed a battery for my '16 Toyota. Dropped into AutoZone on New Year's day, to have mine tested (free service) first. There's plenty of parking. The store was clean, neat and well stocked with a variety of car needs and accessories. Zaymir, the AutoZoner that assisted me was very professional and personable. He explained the process of turning in the (core) old/ dead battery, the warranty, etc. He made the whole experience a breeze. Any questions that I had were answered without making me (I witnessed the same treatment, by Zaymir, with other customers) feel stupid, lol. Thanks Zaymir!
