Waited 20 minutes for a pickup that should have taken 30 seconds. On top of this, they had the audacity to tell me to go to another store to pick it up when my item was in their stock room the entire time. Finally managed to get it and leave. Store is usable but don't get your hopes up.

Staff here are nice but if you’re trying to get help or to checkout, it will be SO ridiculously slow. So many people walking around the store but you’ll wait 30+ min to checkout or to be assisted which is just a huge waste of time. This location either needs to staff more employees or speed up their service for their customers.

This was an absolute disaster from start to finish. I placed a same-day pickup order for an iPhone 17 Pro because Best Buy’s website told me it would be ready today. I needed this phone urgently before leaving on an international business trip, so I trusted their system and paid immediately. Hours passed, no update. I went into the store myself for answers and was met with staff who were useless, unhelpful, and uninterested in solving the problem. No one could tell me if the phone was in stock, no one could give me a timeline, and no one cared that I had an urgent need. They shrugged it off like it wasn’t their problem. I left the store with zero clarity, no phone, and a massive waste of time. Best Buy advertises “same-day pickup” as if it’s reliable. It’s not. It’s a bait-and-switch. If they can’t fulfill it, they should be upfront instead of stringing customers along. The lack of accountability and transparency here is shocking for a company this size. If you actually need a phone quickly, skip Best Buy entirely. Go straight to Apple or your carrier. At least they give real-time stock info, actual updates, and staff who take customer needs seriously. Best Buy has proven they can’t handle it. One of the worst retail experiences I’ve ever had. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Worst experience ever received. The geeksquad over hear couldn't able to convey the problem to the repair management service as a result my laptop was shipped again and again for three times without getting it repaired at last they understood they can't do it hence they finally asked me to contact the manufacturer for refund or exchange.At first they assured me that they will give exchange or refund but at last they wanted to get rid of me. I request all the customers to be cautious while contacting the geeksquad team as it will be waste of your time but nothing else.

Unfortunately many of items are not available in stock. You need to make pre order and them pick up your order from store. Young assistance was unaware stock availability & can't assist with some questions.

I have a problem with my TV screen. My 40 inch TV is a smaller product for them and has to be taken to their store for repair. Quite unfortunate that I have to take my 40 inch TV which was shipped and delivered to me, now I have to take the TV for repair all the way to store for repair, I might just return it. Unfortunate experience it is.

Website says available in stock but when I came to the store they say they can’t find the one piece they have in stock. When asked whether it was stolen they said ‘well, it could be in the truck we just received’. See Best Buy's response below and you'll get a very good idea of how they communicate.

I guess they decided to get rid of all the shopping carts so I had to carry a huge microwave box all the way to the register while several employees just sat around and watched. I asked one of them if there was a cart anywhere I could use and they just said no, continuing to watch and not offering to help in any way. I've never seen such a bizarre setup in a big box store...maybe get rid of half the useless employees and bring back shopping carts instead.

Worst experience ever! Bought a new refrigerator from Best Buy Jersey City. I guess nothing changed in the past 10 years. They refused to deliver our refrigerator to our Hoboken address, saying there was no parking. They just don’t care.

Made me return a laptop but needed Geek Squad to check it out…. not a problem, I totally understand. However issues lies when you have only 1 person working the Geek Squad desk. There were 3-4 people ahead of me, I waited for 15 mins and the line didn’t move, do better Best Buy!

Absolutely disgusting support. I mean ABSOLUTELY. I bought the dji stabilizer on July 4, 2025. I opened the box after 3 days (July 7). There were two pieces of accessories missing (phone holder and mini camera), which made the device completely useless for me. After that there were just HOURS of absolutely useless correspondence with their support. Just hours, time after time, you give them ALL the information and they chase you around in circles asking you back what you've already told them multiple times. I'm in Miami right now, I spoke to the manager of the local Best Buy and she explained to me that I have to go back to Jersey and show my item there, since their system doesn't allow you to see the purchase from the Jersey store. But I'm just a tourist, I'm not going back to Jersey anymore and I'll just have to stay with the product I was sold without a complete package. I ABSOLUTELY do not recommend ANYONE to use the services of this great, but absolutely stupid store. They sold me a product without a complete kit, after which their support spent many hours of my time completely useless. If you have any chance at all, buy anywhere but from them. I would have been fine with refusing to replace the product, but they spent hours wasting my time over and over again asking the same questions with absolutely zero results. I've written to them everywhere - the result is the same. JUST BUY IT SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Excellent customer service the geek squad. Plan is the absolute best thing I ever did. I’ve had appliances delivered and installed for free every time I bring in my personal computer they are able to fix it. Updated and take care of all the bugs. Excellent service highly recommended.

Beware of the ground staff tricking you in getting Best Buy membership. I understand the company might have given them aggressive targets for selling the membership, but the staff is resorting to telling lies and misleading information to trick you into buying the membership.

This was the worst experience I have ever had, and if I could have given zero stars, I would have. I bought an 85-inch TV as an open-box item and drove from Fairview, NJ, to their location in Jersey City, which was a 40-minute drive. Since I was buying such a large TV, I rented a U-Haul truck to avoid damaging it. I even made sure to bring blankets and pillows for extra protection. However, when I arrived, I was told to wait because they needed to get the TV from the warehouse. When they finally brought it out, it was completely covered, and I wasn't given a chance to inspect it. I was simply told to load it into my vehicle. After driving the 40 minutes back home to Edgewater, NJ, I discovered the TV was damaged upon opening the packaging. The corner of the screen had a leakage-type line running down it. Additionally, all the stickers had been torn off, leaving residue all over the TV. The actual casing of the TV wouldn't even stay together, resulting in gaps between the case and the screen all around. When I called the store to explain the issue and express my frustration, instead of addressing it themselves, they transferred me to customer service. I asked customer service if a replacement could be arranged, but the only option they offered was an out-of-state pickup, stating that I would have to pick it up myself since the original order was for in-store pickup. This was incredibly disappointing because it meant I would have to return the damaged TV myself instead of them arranging a pickup. When I inquired about shipping a replacement to me, they offered no solution. This is far from the best customer service experience I've ever had. Neither the store nor customer service was willing to work with me to find a solution or even offer some form of compensation for the U-Haul rental, which I now have to use twice because I have to physically return the damaged TV since they won't pick it up.

I bought a TV at this store, which had cracked screen. Since I haven't had a chance to open it, I didn't know if the screen was cracked. They refused to accept return or exchange since it has been over the return window of 14 days. I wasted money while they sold broken item. Beware and stay away from this store.

The worst experience. We booked an appointment and were just 5 minutes late and he made us wait 45 minutes after that. I wanted to buy a new phone but there was nobody to help. The Verizon guy had left because he wasn’t aware of this. We travelled almost 30mins to come back empty handed. I heard an older woman just wanted to connect the earphones to her phone and they asked her to pay 30$. Pathetic!! I got her done in 5 minutes. The store manager was very rude . Don’t waste your time.

And just when I managed to sort it out Best Buy recalled the package and sent it back to the sender - without even notifying me. On April 15th at 1:32 pm, my children and I entered a store. Initially, everything was satisfactory until we reached the power supply section. Upon selecting the first power supply labeled “$99” on the tag, we discovered that the price displayed on the register was $169. I informed the employee that this was incorrect, and I adopted an attitude, treating us as if we were attempting to steal or bother her lunch, as she was still eating and had a drink in hand. She retreated to the back to inspect the item, returning with only a few words, stating that she could not price match. She then informed me that the $99 power supply was actually $100, with the price of the 850W power supply being approximately $100. However, the box she had brought up was damaged. I looked at her and said, “Alright, let me just go back there and check what you have.” While she was speaking into her microphone or walkie-talkie, someone else needed her assistance. She informed me that she was handling a customer issue and would return to me once she had finished with the customer. However, her tone was somewhat rude in front of my children and me. It is evident that she requires retraining in customer service.

Went to the store looking for an item that it clearly says there are available. 3 store associates kept sending me to one another. Everyone brushing off Instead of being proactive and helping a paying customer. I just left the store without purchasing anything. I’m sure Best Buy needs the sales, but with customer help like that, it will get nowhere, just another dying business.

My own going now have recently traveled to Best Buy in Jersey City when we got there we were looking for a PSU a.k.a. power supply when I got there we saw one for $99. We grabbed it we went to the register to pay came out to 169 now when he called the manager Price The manager went back there and said sorry we can’t do that and brought a damage box for $99 and I said well listen it was in the wrong spot and she said I can’t do anything. They didn’t even bother to give me a solution didn’t bother to do anything for us. This is why Best Buy is going out of business. I can see you guys going bye-bye in a few years and if she continues to be a manager in this Best Buy or any other Best Buy she needs to be retrained as a manager because at the end of the day, I’m quite sure whoever read this if you see something for that price on the shelf, you’re gonna want it for that price they should do better job and organizing everything where it should go no matter what

Alex was great at helping answer my questions on a soundbar I bought today. He'd also helped bring the box out to my car. Great service and very knowledgeable on the TV and soundbar products at Best Buy. Would recommend the purchasing experience based on my time in store today.

I wanted to follow up on my previous review because it only gets worse. I messaged the Best Buy Instagram account asking for another solution to return or exchange the tv I purchased which was broken at the time of purchase. The support team offered me no viable solution or showed any sympathy. My wife is pregnant and this has been a very hectic time. Best Buy does not care about their customers and told me that if I cannot return the product under their conditions that they are going to keep my money and leave me with the broken TV. I have re-named this store Worst Buy. This is the worst interaction I have ever had with a business. I would give this negative stars if possible. I purchased a brand new TV from this Best Buy and when I got home and plugged it in, the TV was already broken. As I do not live near this store, I tried to call and was unable to actually get connected to the store. I went to the online chat and was not provided any help. Because I don’t have the ability to physically return the broken tv to the store, I have no way of getting this replaced or getting my money back. This has been the worst interaction and customer service I have ever had from any company. I will never go back to a Best Buy. Stay away at all costs!!!

I went to Best Buy to get information on replacing my Xfinity router and modem so I won't have to pay the monthly fee to Comcast. I met up with Gary who was extremely well versed and informed me of all my options. He was extremely technically savvy and answered every question I asked in a thorough, insightful and helpful manner. His knowledge of all the products Best Buy carries was exemplary. Gary is a huge attribute to the company! Glad I went there.

This Best Buy has a great location. Helpful and friendly staff. Plenty of free parking. You can have good deals here. Good selection of laptops, phones, cameras, security cameras. It's always clean on here. Nice cozy layout. Plus, sales taxes are only 3,5% in this store only.
