I am writing to formally complain about my recent service experience at Hudson Nissan on Route 440 in Jersey City.
I brought my vehicle in because it was having trouble starting. Hudson Nissan kept my car for almost two months. During that time, I was first told the issue was the starter, which I paid to have replaced. After that repair, I was then told the problem was the shifter and was quoted an additional $725 to fix it.
I explained that I could not afford that repair. At that point, I was told to return the courtesy vehicle—which I had to specifically ask for in the first place—and pick up my car unrepaired.
After taking my vehicle to an independent mechanic, I was informed that the shifter was not the problem at all. The actual issue was an electrical problem preventing the car from starting. The mechanic fixed it for $250.
This experience leads me to believe my vehicle was misdiagnosed multiple times, resulting in unnecessary costs, excessive delays, and significant inconvenience. I feel that I was pressured into paying for repairs that did not resolve the issue and was given incorrect information about my vehicle’s condition.
I am requesting that this situation be reviewed and that I receive an explanation and appropriate resolution for the misdiagnosis and service delays I experienced.

Had a great experience. Despite major credit issues Mohammad and his team were able to help us get a 2024 Nissan at an affordable payment. We were in and out in under 2 hours. I highly recommend this dealership. No pressure atmosphere, friendly, and professional.

If I could put no stars I would without hesitation. And if my post gets taken down for any reason I will report to the better business bureau with proof of my report to this company. Please do not test me. I Recently had an interaction with the salesman named Andy. The car that was sold to me I had to put out 2 mechanical errors that were not checked or verified and instead was sold to me in this condition before I even paid my first payment. On top of that I was charged for extra work to be done and nothing was done to rectify the situation to my benefit. If something were to happen to me or my family it would my loss because once it left the lot it was assumed that I had a well working car. I'm not one to complain but this was the most horrible experience I have ever had. Will not and will never buy or recommend anyone to this location.

At 86 years old, buying a car is not something I take lightly, and I can honestly say that working with Walter was one of the best sales experiences I have ever had. From the very beginning, he treated me with kindness, patience, and genuine respect, which meant a great deal to me.
I purchased my Nissan Kicks 2026, and Walter took the time to explain everything clearly and calmly, never rushing me or making me feel pressured in any way. I just purchased a 2023 Rogue Platinum and I am truly loving the vehicle and this being my first Nissan I am very impressed. The salesman who helped me Charn was very professional and helpful and not at all pushy like experiences I’ve had when buying vehicles in the past. Charn was also assisted by another salesman Charles and he was very knowledgeable about the line of vehicles and was able to answer every question I had. Overall my experience at Hudson Nissan was a low stress and easy process which made me comfortable with my decision to go with my first Nissan and I am sure it won’t be my last. Ask for Walter. I had such a good experience with him. I was honestly a little flat at first because the car I thought I wanted had just been sold but he handled it really well and didn’t make me feel rushed or pressured. He was very patient and actually ended up finding me something even better than what I came in for! Super easy to work with, honest, straightforward and genuinely helpful. Just got into 2025 Pathfinder and my sales person was Andy. He was very patient and worked with me to find the perfect trim for my wife. I had a great experience at Hudson Nissan for my oil change. The estimated time they gave me was accurate, and my car was ready right on schedule. I really appreciated the detailed video from Aiden, the technician, showing the inspection process. It gave me peace of mind knowing everything was checked thoroughly. I stumbled upon this dealership due to my car breaking down and it was the best possible thing that could have happened in that situation. I have had the worst car luck this year. My ford was vandalized and then the used car I got was a Lemon. Financially, like many people this year, I’ve been struggling to make ends meet. With all of this in mind, when my car broke down, I decided to take a chance on Nissan by having my car towed there for a trade in on a lease. When I arrived, I was beyond stressed, but thankfully, I was placed in the BEST care I could have asked for. Muhammad Awan is a stellar employee. He went above and beyond to help me and not once did I feel he was trying to just make a sale. He radiated positive vibes and is truly a good person. He hooked me up with the most affordable lease and went out of his way to make sure I was ok and loving the car. He was even willing to schedule phone check in’s on his own free time. On top of this, he was training a new employee named Alejandro who will also definitely be a person to request if you are interested in buying or leasing a car. He was so kind and had the same attitude and kindness that Muhammad demonstrated. If possible, I would give them both 100 stars for being amazing!
