Took my car here for an emergency repair. My check engine light was on and my car wasn't accelerating properly. Even though I didn't have an appointment, Joe who owns the shop was able to get it fixed really quick. He also is very transparent and gives you a print-out of everything he finds/fixes. His prices are also relatively cheap. If I ever need my car fixed again and I'm in the area I'll definitely take it back here.
Very honest shop. I had them install parts I ordered without issue, and gave me a proper quote of 1.7k for when my AC compressor died in Florida, vs the 4k that PepBoys wanted.

Not professional and deficient .They tried to scam me for a new radiator by saying there was a crack in mine . I would’ve paid double digits if I did not have a 2nd option . You are better off going some place else .
Was very impressed with the quality of work and level of transparency & professionalism. Joe kept me aware of the progress on my car, took the time to explain the issues to me and also provided a few possible solutions.
I found Joe to be very honest and also fairly priced. Very happy to have found him and will definitely be back.
As a side note, Joe also sells / installs tires so was able to replace my very worn tires at the same time as the other repairs.
Joe and Freddy are the absolute best car mechanics not only in Jersey City hands down, but I dare say the New York Metropolitan area. Wow! This kind of service is rare and definitely not found in NYC. There is no obscurity with pricing or funny business. The mechanics here are very knowledgeable and Joe will always keep you informed and up to date with the status of your car. I recommend this place a thousand times over!
