Rachel once again has worked her magic. I recently moved and was fortunate to see Rachel during my brief visit to Hoboken. She was able to correct another stylists missteps (from my new city), refresh and revitalize my hair! Absolutely loved it! I was so happy when I left the salon. I received so many compliments.

This was my first time at Bond and it surpassed everything I imagined. Right at check in, they make you feel taken care of: they took my coat and offered me a drink and brought out a robe for me to wear. I chatted with my colorist (Courtney) and she made me feel at ease with the demipermanent gloss, and what I was trying to achieve. Then I chatted with Viviana about the kind of cut I was looking for. Everything about this salon is about the client’s comfort. I am truly grateful for how accommodating and wonderful the staff were. I’m so glad that a friend recommended this, as I see myself making this my new salon. I have gotten so many compliments on my cut and color! I have been singing my praises of Bond!

Unfortunately I had the worst experience getting highlights that ruined my hair. I went to the salon the last week of January and was assigned a colorist who had me sit with highlights from 12:30pm-5pm. I’ve had highlights for 20 years and never sat in a chair that long for medium length hair. When the foils were removed my heart sank bc my hair was dead, stringy, and limp. It’s been a month and the texture of my hair has changed permanently. It’s Fried. Ive spent over $200 trying to fix the damage caused and unfortunately have to just painstakingly grow my hair out. I’ve had to give myself 2 at home haircuts to remove the damage that was caused by the service.

Went in for a blowout with Ryan and ended up leaving with an amazing haircut!!!! He’s super honest and gives the best direction!! I trusted him completely and I’m so glad I did. This was my first time at Bond and it was such a great experience. I followed Ryan from his previous location (where I was first introduced to his amazing blowouts) because he’s that talented and I’m so happy I did. True pro. Highly recommend!!

I have been seeing Jenna Mast for cut and color for the past 8 years and cannot recommend anyone more highly. She is a true master at her craft, every time I see her I leave feeling incredible. Recently I told her she is doing the lord's work by ensuring the women of NYC (and Hoboken :) are looking and feeling like the best version of themselves. The atmosphere in the salon is also lovely. It is bright and airy, and everyone is very friendly and makes sure you have a great experience.

Love the salon space and the way that everyone was so friendly and sought to make for a better client experience. I loyally go to Jenna for my haircut, she’s the only one who has made layers look good on my straight, fine hair. She’s so nice and talented!

I had such a great experience at Bond Salon, from start to finish. Even before going in, everything online was super clear and easy!! Their website and social media made it simple to understand the services, get inspired, and book without any stress:) When I arrived, the salon felt welcoming and calm, and everyone was so kind and professional. I had my haircut with Viviana, and she was AMAZING. She really listened to what I wanted, took her time, and made sure everything felt right. The cut came out exactly how I wanted. I got curtain bangs and refreshed the layers and also got a Coppola treatment. Overall, the service, the stylists, the experience, everything was just really well done. BEST SALON IN HOBOKEN!!!

I have been seeing Rachel at Bond for over 7 years now?? After trying basically ever hair salon in Hoboken, this is the only one I would go to. Rachel is genius with hair cutting and coloring and a gem of a person. She just knows SO MUCH. I was saying to her yesterday about the downtown location "this really is a happy place". It's certainly one of my happy places and safe havens in town, whenever I get to hang out there with her and the Bond team.

Brandon was amazing! I saw him for full highlights (brightening up my blonde). He was able to replicate exactly what I wanted from a photo. His knowledge and precision show in my results! The whole team was very kind and welcoming for a first time visitor :) I will be back!

If you are not a regular customer who visit them every week or month, they don’t spend any time and effort to make you happy. Just finish everything in a rushed way. I asked stylist to straight my hair very flat but she was lazy and said blow dry is enough. I saw they take care of other their customers more.

I haven’t been in a salon in over 20 years. As a more masculine woman with a short haircut, I’ve always felt slightly out of place. Feeling too masculine for most salons, and too feminine for traditional barbershops. The staff at Bond changed that instantly. From the warm hospitality at the front desk to my initial consultation with Viviana, I felt comfortable, seen, and genuinely welcomed. I’ve had my hair cut into a Mohawk for over two decades, and I can confidently say I have never been happier with how my hair looks than I am after getting cut by Viviana at Bond Salon. She understood exactly what I wanted, perfected the shape, and somehow made a style I’ve worn for 20+ years look brand new. Not to mention, she washed and styled my hair. I honestly felt like royalty. The level of care, attention to detail, and skill she brings to her work is unmatched. I left the salon looking incredible and feeling even better. Highly, highly recommend.

I found Courtney (@guddhair) back in 2021 when she was looking for a hair model for a double process platinum blonde (I was bronde at the time), and that was honestly one of the most impulsive, best decisions of my life! It's so hard to find a hair team that is worth the prices that come with living in this area, and after a few rough go-arounds with significant hair damage, I could not be more thankful to have found Courtney. She is the queen of blonde hair and has taken me through many different variations, and I'm always blown away with the end result. Courtney then introduced me to Viviana (@by.viviana) who has now cut my hair for almost 4 years and has brought my hair from fine and corse to full and lush. She is a curly specialist, but even though I have natural waves and not bouncy curls, she nails it every single time. She listens to what I want and also uses her knowledge to adjust what I want to the face/head shape I have so it looks incredible for months and months at a time. I've been styling and dying my hair for almost 20 years, and I've never felt so beautiful as when I do leaving their hands! Plus they're both the sweetest, most genuine people who love what they do and are damn good at it. I couldn't recommend either of them more!

Rachel was awesome! I have wanted this haircut I think since I was in college and because of my curly/wavy hair everybody got it wrong. I was also a professional model for 20 years so you think somebody would’ve gotten it right! Leave it to Rachel!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Brandon did a color correction on my hair and ended with a blow dry so I came out the salon feeling so new and pretty. Absolutely recommend this place and Brandon. Everyone is incredibly sweet, they give you complimentary drinks and ugh, just loved the experience :)

The team at Bond is the best, they make you feel like VIP from the moment you step in. With super nice designed space that looks like spa, welcome drinks and massage chair, coming here for them to make my hair look great it is a total treat!! Jennifer does my hair gloss, to refresh my natural color and i can tell you it looks fantastic. 100% recommend.

Rachel is amazing, highly skilled, and super professional. She does great work, quickly, allowing you to get back to your busy schedule. She’s helping me to maintain my Keratin treatment and keep my natural hair very healthy. I’m so glad I found her, and the sweetest, kindest people at this upscale salon.

Zero Stars. The service here was unacceptable. From start to finish, the process was disorganized and unprofessional, and the stylist completely butchered my hair. I rarely leave reviews—especially as a business owner myself—but this experience was so poor that it must be addressed. I’ve had long hair my entire life—30 years—and this is by far the worst haircut I’ve ever received. When I raised my concerns, management’s response was that there was a “disconnection” and that it wasn’t “as bad” as I thought. Yet in the same breath, they admitted there was a disconnection—acknowledging the mistake while minimizing its severity. If you can see the problem, then you also see how serious it is. And still, the only solution offered was another haircut. I understand you can’t glue hair back on, but why would I allow the same salon that butchered my hair once to cut into it again? Their logic makes no sense, especially when they’ve already proven they don’t know how to handle my hair type, my length, or my texture. Management’s attempt to pass this off as minor was not only dismissive but insulting. To make matters worse, the stylist was distracted throughout the appointment, spending more time discussing her personal life than focusing on the service. For someone claiming nearly a decade of experience, the result was careless, uneven, and unacceptable. Charging $150 for this level of work is absurd, especially when pricing is equivalent to or higher than top New York City salons that actually deliver quality and professionalism. Now I’m left waiting months for my hair to grow back. While I’m fortunate my hair grows quickly, many women wouldn’t have that option and would be forced to cut it even shorter just to repair the damage. This salon has proven they cannot deliver on their promises, and they certainly cannot take accountability. Unprofessional, overpriced, and completely unacceptable.

First time client here and Hannah Locascio did an AMAZING job on my hair color!!! Been coloring my hair for years, and even my daughters agreed it was the best color I have ever had. Love Love Love!! First class treatment from check in to check out! I will be back!!

I recently had the worst haircut and experience at another well-known salon in Jersey City — my fine hair was hacked into what looked like a mullet (think balding rat straight out of the ’70s). Thankfully, Brianna completely turned things around. She took the time to really listen, asked thoughtful questions, and explained the technical side of what was possible as my hair grows out. Most importantly, she made me feel reassured and confident again. She was able to salvage my bob beautifully, and I can honestly say she’s the best hairdresser I’ve ever been to ❤️

What a wonderful experience at Bond Salon. I went to the Downtown Hoboken location and they did not disappoint. I was recommended to request Viviana and I will never go to anyone else. Priscilla at the front desk was welcoming and attentive. Viviana listened to what I wanted during our consult, gave me her expert opinion and delivered. My expectations were far exceeded. I’d recommend Viviana and the team to anyone!!!!

Hands down one of the best hair salons in Hoboken. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Izze did an amazing job with my Balayage and explained the process as she was working. Her attention to detail and knowledge of different hair products made me feel like I was in the right hands. I walked out feeling the best version of myself. Thank you Bond team and thank you Izze

I had an amazing experience at BOND! The space is chic and welcoming, and the whole team is incredibly professional. I got a long layer cut with Nathaly Montas, and it turned out perfectly—light, bouncy, and exactly what I had envisioned. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted and delivered with so much precision and style. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back.

Emma honestly deserves the world for the work she does. As someone who gets anxious even at the idea of changing my hair, I know that I can always trust her to make sure I leave Bond looking better than I could’ve imagined. She’s so communicative and thorough and really takes the time to talk to you about what you want ahead of time, so that by the time the scissors are out, you feel totally confident in your choice. I went in today wanting subtle natural-looking highlights to bring some dimension to my hair without having to worry about grow out. She was quick to help me find some inspo pictures and made sure we were in the same page before she started and I could not be happier with the final product. Bond as a whole is also always a great experience, the environment is so warm and inviting and it absolutely deserves the hype it has here in Hoboken.

Brandon did such a good job with my blonde! I’ve also gone to others at bond (I book online and usually pick first available) and they were all so great! I trust everyone there to do a great job. Very nice front desk staff and assistants. Free drinks with great presentation too! I love coming here

Great experience at Bond Downtown!! Natalie was lovely and made sure my haircut was exactly what I wanted. The full appointment is truly an experience. Drink before, wash, cut and dry were all wonderful. Will definitely be back.

I am so impressed by how well my recent cut and highlights came out. Courtney and Viviana possess an undeniable synergy in both their work and their treatment of clients in the salon. It makes for a perfect self-care day in that their services make clients both look and feel like the best version of themselves. I can’t wait to go back and see my girls again at Bond. I have been going to Toni & Guy for years and have nothing but great things to say! Whether I am going for color (Jade!), a cut or just a blow-out/style I have always left so pleased. I can't say enough great things about Jade - she genuinely cares about your experience and giving you the best results. I see Jade 2x a year to maintain my blonde and she always does such a great job bringing my color back to life and blending it so it grows out so naturally. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does and it is very comforting! I highly, highly recommend jade for anything color related!! I have also seen Ashley, Viviana and Brooke for cuts and styles and they are all so talented. You really can't go wrong! I would also like to mention that whenever I am there it is a great experience but they have really done a great job making the experience Covid friendly and safe. I have been to the Hoboken location twice during Covid and everyone is always in a mask, they are cautious with capacity and overly clean!
