I never write reviews for anything but this place will hear it from me. Last night, I ordered a cider and a Tito’s and seltzer. The bartender MELANY with black hair in a clip (that she seems to wear every work shift) and tats, was extremely rude and dismissive saying that I asked for tequila when I didn’t. Then proceeds to say “you’re gonna have to pay for it” as she walks away. I’m not paying for another drink that SHE messed up. I thought she was joking when she said no and that I have to pay again.
I had asked my girlfriend to come over for help because I was extremely shocked at her attitude and behavior. She again told my girlfriend no with a nasty attitude, so we asked the bar back for assistance. The bar back went to make the drink and the MELANY BARTENDER physically stopped him from making us the drink. She was literally taunting us.
Never going back and watch out for that MELANY girl, don’t know how she still has a job to be honest…
I don’t usually leave reviews, but last night really rubbed me the wrong way.
My girlfriend ordered us a cider and a Tito’s & seltzer. When I took a sip of the Tito’s, it was tequila instead. Totally fine, mistakes happen. We just wanted it corrected.
When she went back up to politely explain, the bartender named Melany (black hair clipped up, tattoo sleeve) immediately told her we’d have to pay for a new drink and walked away mid-conversation with a huge attitude. No apology, no attempt to fix it, just dismissive and rude.
I then went up myself to calmly explain that it was simply made wrong and got the same response. At one point, the barback was about to remake the drink, and she actually stopped him from doing it. That part honestly felt intentional and unnecessary.
We had to get security involved, who then spoke to a manager before the drink was finally replaced.
The issue was never the mistake. It was the way we were treated for bringing it up. It turned what should have been a quick fix into an unnecessary situation. Hopefully management addresses this, because no customer should have to escalate something this small just to be treated decently.
Very disappointing experience. The bartender was rude and shouting even though the bar was empty, and she seemed more focused on her phone than on service. Management should monitor staff more closely — this kind of behavior hurts the restaurant.
If you want to have fun night out on the weekend you must go to Texas Arizona. Fun atmosphere and great. The drinks were great and the bartender Steve was great guy and has excellent service. 10/10 definitely coming back.
We went there for my friends birthday celebration and my boyfriend who was wearing streetwear got denied for wearing the wrong pants. (Cargo pants) It’s a casual bar where a dress code is not specifically Stated. They were super rude and did nothing.
Anyways not even a minute later they let a guy in with joggers and a dirty sloppy shirt. What a joke. If they were serious about a dress code then they wouldn’t pick and choose. We got seperated from our friend group after they went inside and paid. They weren’t able to get a refund.
Go somewhere better in Hoboken. Many places to choose from.
Scammers! A few days after being at this bar I saw the credit card charge and the waitress changed the tip on the check and added $5 extra. Thankfully I took a picture of the receipt and it will be disputed.
Be very careful with your credit card if you go to this bar
Excellent service, delicious food, great drink options. Very great bar and food options, nice decor, friendly atmosphere. Had an incredible night here last night and will definitely be stopping by again. I got the half price tacos and they were delicious. I also recommend getting the margarita, it was very great.
the male bartender in the back bar overcharged my card for 2 drinks from a can, completely inappropriate and never even gave me a receipt nor did i sign anything to include a tip. make sure to double check what he charges you.
Great spot to catch football games in Hoboken. An abundance of TVs all around the bar. Great service from the bartenders. All drinks are served as doubles. Food is very tasty and reasonably prices for Hoboken with decent portions. They usually charge a door cover on Saturday nights, depending on how busy the town is. Definitely a local favorite. This is a Penn State bar for football season. Make sure to go see the following bartenders: Steve (always works back bar on the weekends), and Courtney and Brittany that work the front bar on the weekends! I contacted them about a lost wallet over a month ago. I was told via voicemail to email them about lost items, and was never given a reply. Since then, I received fraudulent purchases on my credit card, all of which could have been avoided had they answered a simple yes or no question as to whether they saw my wallet or not. Serves me right for going to a bar with long lines and overly expensive covers. They’re lucky to be in the location they’re in because they don’t deserve to be in business for the way they run things.
my girlfriends and I came on a Saturday late at night and Andy made us feel safe and gave us the space to have fun. 10/10 service he madie us feel welcome at Texas Arizona

They menu is very skim.
Cocktail menu is non-existent.
When order old-fashioned, the bill is $20.

Conveniently located near the PATH. But, the atmosphere was chaotic and disorderly during our pass. Seems to attract rowdy clientele - a fight even broke out right next to the establishment. We did not feel safe.
They will change the tip and charge your card more without permission. Disgusting. They already over charge for things and have nasty attitudes but still expect over 25% tip. I gave this man a tip even when he had a nasty with me and I woke up to more charges then I wrote on that bill. Weirdos.
Bouncer is extremely rude. Threatening my wife and I because we decided to leave after walking in and saying we’re lucky to leave in one piece. We tried to walk away to de-escalate but the bouncer continued to walk towards us and yelling at us for no reason. Completely unacceptable.
The bouncers were atrocious. They threw ice at a crowd of people and one piece hit my boyfriend in the eye and left him with a shiner. The bouncer also walked through the crowd and I guess my boyfriend was “in the way” (the bar was very crowded everyone was in the way) because he put his hand on my boyfriends chest and pushed him back so hard he stumbled into our other friend. To top the night off, I left the bar with my friends phone on accident and asked the bouncer if I could return it quickly and then come back out. I pointed to where my friend was standing, about four steps in the door. I was told that was not their problem. Rude but okay fair. They then proceeded to YELL at my friend when he came outside to grab his phone instead. Overall they were terrible and incredibly rude. I will not be back and I will be warning my friends about the experience we had.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was so outrageous it deserves to be shared.
I was in this bar for maybe five minutes and had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered — all thanks to the female bartender in the back bar with dark black hair and a trashy look. I politely ordered a Casamigos with water and lime. She mistakenly made it with soda water instead, and when I nicely asked if she could please remake it with still water as I originally requested, she looked at me and said: “Figure it out.” Then she completely ignored me.
Trying to resolve the situation, I asked the manager if he could make the drink I ordered. He was about to begin to do so, but before he could, the same bartender snatched the drink out of his hand, shoved it at me, and snapped, “She asked for a tequila and soda.”
At that point, I was completely done. I threw the drink out and walked straight out of the bar.
Absolutely unacceptable. I’m shocked the manager stood by and allowed this kind of behavior from a staff member. No apology, no correction — just complete disregard for the customer.
This was my first and definitely last time at this bar. If this is the kind of service they think is acceptable, I’d recommend going literally anywhere else.
I’ll try to keep it to facts and leave my opinions out. We made reservations and went for a special “free burgers” night. The reservation and we arrived at 7 pm. We got seated around 7:30 and ordered shortly after that. We ordered 1 app + 1 non alcoholic drink + 3 alcoholic drinks per person times 4 people (in addition to 1 free burger each). We received our drinks promptly, however we did not get our food until 10:30 pm. The burgers were actually good even though it took 3 hours and each of us got the wrong order and the wrong doneness. The waitress was nice. The total bill was $91.00 for 4 of us.
Good food, and great happy hour options. Burgers, nachos supreme, and buffalo cob salad are great.
Just wish the bathrooms (both men's and women's) would be cleaner. I've been here twice recently after opening and the bathrooms are messy and smell far from great. On this last visit, it was clear that the floors were not swept and cleaned before opening.
I like the staff, I like the food and prices, but this is making us want to find a different weekend place to visit.
Nice ambience, the music was good and the bartenders are kind and always ready to serve .
Nice vibe and great crowd . Totally recommended to have some drinks , watch a game or simply come from work make a stop and have a beer .
Hey hoboken is lovely but this guy isn’t making it right. He Is telling people that hey have to buy two drinks at the same time!!!! Not right!!!! Why(???? Even if we could, why 2 drinks? Is he in need? Or does the restaurant need to charge people that amount mandatorily? Please let us know.
Great bar always live and packed with people in the weekends. Minutes away from the new York city this is the first place you see. The prices here are decent and good food. Staffs are friendly and nice. Atmosphere is lively. Overall great place for beers and company.
