Greatest thrift gem! I always find something to love. The staff is always so kind. The prices are ridiculously generous!

This store is amazing! Always a great selection, super low prices, and the staff is incredibly sweet. Made a few purchases a few days ago and they let me know the profits that day were going to breast cancer awareness. Love their mission!

I come all the way from Brooklyn to donate and purchase here. The staff are all lovely and knowledgeable and it’s always a great experience, whether I’m donating or buying. Can’t recommend enough!

I have been shopping at this Thrift Shop for years. The staff/volunteers are always cordial, professional and helpful. There are many Thrift Shops close to where I live but I choose to drive more than 30 miles to support this shop. The quality of the merchandise is top notch, prices are very good and I always look forward to shopping there.

St. Mary’s Thrift Store is a true Hoboken gem! The selection is always changing, and you can find virtually anything from quality clothing and accessories to unique home décor treasures—all at unbeatable prices. The volunteers are warm, friendly, and clearly care about the community. I love that every purchase supports a great cause while keeping perfectly good items out of the landfill. Whether you’re thrifting for fun or searching for something specific, this store never disappoints!

This thrift store has a great selection of women’s and men’s clothing at super-low prices—with several racks of $1 items. Brands such as Theory, Madewell, Eileen Fisher, Anthropology, Banana Republic and J. Crew usually range from about $5-$10. It’s all-volunteer and all-proceeds to charity, so you can feel good about splurging.

Donate elsewhere. Rude judgmental staff. Left crying. Told them I was donating what I could sort after a divorce and baby’s death. The greyish brunette woman, older in age, that I gave my donations to opened up the bins outside, dug through and picked out the worst items, including a clean pair of underwear to hold and shame up in my face in public like a dog and scolded me (my mistake, I missed some small items during sorting, but I don’t think harassment is acceptable). The entire experience was humiliating and meant to humiliate. She rolled her eyes at valuables like designer shoes and large brass candelabras inside the bins. I had some heavier bins. Neighbors unrelated to this organization off the street helped me while this woman said “we don’t do that here” (I grew up Christian, and these are not Christian values). She looked up and down at me and asked if I “even had children’s clothes” and I said “I didn’t think so.” Whatever baby stuff was in there was high quuality and unused. She locked eyes with me for a while scowling. She rolled her eyes later at the desgner diaper bag with tag still affixed. I left crying. There are many other more reputable places in the area that are kind, more down to earth and cater towards middle-class clientele. I like the ones near Central Ave and the homeless shelter definitely needs goods. I recommend not going here and supporting this business. If you choose so, you put donations by their side door.

I love this hidden gem in central hoboken! I often find new with tags items, designer clothes and everything I need for the house. As a health worker myself, I’m also happy to support their mission. If you find the prices at second st outrageous, check this store out.

I went to donate clothing, shoes, and home appliances. The people working were very nice and they were organized behind the scenes. It was easy to donate my things and I feel confident that they’ll be reused instead of thrown away.

I always come out with something that suits me. Just a variety of many great styles. It’s a small store, but they pick out beautiful items to put out. Love this thrift store, not to mention, they donate to many great local organizations.

Very affordably priced! Can get packed and no dressing rooms. Ladies working are very nice, accept credit payments which is nice.

Tiny store absolutely brimming with clothing, shoes, accessories, jewelry. You will find some very good bargains but you will also see items priced high. Couldn’t really figure out the pricing structure and I could have asked but sales staff was very busy. Only a limited number of folks allowed in at one time. Be prepared to jockey for position to go through the racks.

this a really good spot to buy clothes, as well as donate. the only negative thing i have to say is that their store times are so bothersome. i have to essentially plan my entire day around making I’ll have enough time to go since they close early sometimes.

Truly a thrift shopping gem in Hoboken! If you're in the area, stop in and browse around. They have a small selection of children's clothes, some coats, prom dresses, blazers, shoes and glassware. The owner is super friendly too.
