It was such a pleasure dealing with Mark. I brought in my 2017 Hyundai Elantra to him in Dec 2025 and we had settled down on a price, which was fair if you are selling a car to a dealership, definitely better than what Hyundai pre-owned centers would have ever offered me (I never even bothered to contact Hyundai). I asked Mark for a quote if I were to sell the car next month in Jan 2026 and he gave me a reduced price since it would have added another year on the car. Finally, I brought in the car again in Jan 2026 and to my sweet surprise, Mark honored his word and not once did he try to bargain. A true gentleman. Love Car Cash!!! I ran into Mark at the local car show and completed a form. He reached out to me a couple days later and let me know that he could make an offer on my 2015 Camry Hybrid with 170,000+ miles. I was shocked seeing as 2 dealerships I visited had told me outright they wouldn't even consider the car for a trade. I was skeptical, but I went to the Hasbrouck Heights location. Mark had explained he had to inspect the car and test drive it. The car had plenty of issues between dings, dents and scratches, not to mention that he "Check Hybrid System" light had been on for a few months. I did replace the Hybrid battery, but that hadn't corrected the issue. When last inspected at Toyota, they explained that a High Voltage Power Loss (short circuit) existed somewhere and they would need $550 MORE dollars to find it. At that point I was already $2,700 in on fixing a car that, in perfect condition would fetch a $6,000 trade-in price. I refused to spend any more. When I got to 1-800-Car-Cash Mark greeted me like a brother. The shop was busy, 2 sellers ahead of me. The waiting area is really comfortable and there are plenty of interesting items to occupy your attention so you wouldn't feel the wait. The most interesting thing I saw was a replica of Mando's helmet (the Mandalorian). When it was my turn, Mark shared his estimate (still unseen) of $3,000. I was happy. He asked some more questions, which I answered honestly: do you have both key fobs? Yes, but only one is programmed. Does the car run? When it feels like it. That kind of thing. He went out, took some pictures, came back, called an expert on Hybrids; then presented a firm offer: $2,800. I was happily surprised, but still skeptical. He hadn't driven it yet. I was sure that would kill the joy I was feeling. Well the inevitable test drive happened and he sat back down at the desk and confirmed the offer. I walked out with a check that more than covered my expenses on foolishly trying to keep that car alive. Thank you Car Cash and thank you Mark Crosby. You made a sad and difficult situation into a happy ending! I already referred my girlfriend to you!!!
