Showed up timely, car was lowered did an excellent job of making sure it didn’t scrape, very friendly and took a Quick Look to see if he could figure out the issue. Overall would recommend him to tow your vehicle

I was locked out of my car. when I called Christine was extremely short and rude. it cost 175$ just for them to stick a coat hanger through my window after i had to wait an hour for them. also the guy who pulled up had a sticker saying “we used to kill communists now we vote for them”. these people are incompetent and bad at costumer service

Had a tire little low in air and they helped me to add air. Free of charge. Great people.

Tell your drives to use their turn signals and hazard lights. One of the drivers flip me off. I did not know what he was doing, that is what signals are for.

Thieves!!!!! Beware - DO NOT Bring your vehicle here for ANYTHING!!!! My daughter Is a college student at PSU and needed a jump because her battery was dead. We called AAA and the owner of Kirks came to the house to service the car. He told us that we needed a new starter for the vehicle. He told us it would run us between &200 to $300. Instead of driving the car back to Rhode Island to our own mechanic, we figured it would be Less of a hassle to have Kirks fix it. They replaced the starter and told us that they did some testing to see why the battery was dying out. They called my daughter after the started was installed and gave her a bill of $544. The owners wife was extremely rude When I called to ask why it was so much more than what was quoted. She spoke over me, didn’t let me speak and then proceeded to hang up on me twice. My husband called, but still, she would not work with him on the price. They are taking advantage of college students, especially from out of town. In addition, The place looks like a huge junkyard. Beware stay away, far away from this place go anywhere other than Kirks truck auto and tire center. This was the worst service I’ve ever received and all of my years of servicing mine and my families vehicles.

Company scams insurance companies by saying you didn’t provide correct address after picking up your vehicle. Will be sending a complaint to DOT and justice department. Predatory towing company.

The guys at Kirk’s Truck and auto made breaking down near Plymouth truly one of the best places to break down, in an odd way! They love what they do and it shows. Really good people, heart felt, took care of me and I appreciated it. I found them by tow truck but would certainly use there services. I actually live in the Keene area and would consider driving up.

Had two experiences with them. First few months ago my car died. They sent their tow truck driver Adam to tow my car. Adam ran a scanner and tested my alternator said it was barley pushing anything. So alternator was the issue and Adam told them that. No one ever called me before they worked on my car. They called hours later saying they replaced my battery….charged me over $400 for a battery…when I didn’t need that. I needed an alternator. And on top of that if they had called me before they worked on my car and told me it was a battery I would’ve just went and bought a battery and changed it myself and it would’ve only cost me $100 for a battery at Walmart. I get my car back and it dies again not even 24 hours later. The same tow truck driver Adam shows up and he told me that he told them it was my alternator and he tested it again after they put the new battery in and said it was still barely putting out. They knew the issue Was the alternator, they did not fix what they knew was the issue and said overcharged me for a battery I didn’t even need. When I tried to speak to the owner he cut me off and said “I’ve heard about you”. Don’t know if he thought I was stupid because I was a college girl but ended up losing close to $1,000. Woman at the desk was very rude to me. But when my dad called all of a sudden they were so polite and offered him some money off still ended up paying close to $1000 though. Knew what the issue was but didn’t fix it snd sent me on my way for my car to die again so they could take more money. Next the other day my car got towed. I was in the wrong for that I parked where I wasn’t allowed to by mistake. They charged $385 to tow my car from the parking lot it was in to a location that was two minutes away from where they towed it from. I had had my car towed before. Last time I had my car towed by someone else it was $160 to tow it 20 minutes away so how does $385 makes sense for towing it two minutes down the road ….

I'd like you to rate this place based on my experience. Read it to the end it's informative.i had a vibration in my rv, they thought it was a universal joint issue. They gave me an appointment for a week later. Two days before my appointment they said they would have to move it up another week. What could I say. They told me to leave it. I did when I returned they said they had greased the u joints and it was no better. They also said I had a cut tire that needed replacing They said they would order parts and get back to me. Still waiting on that one. Ended up at the freightliner dealer. There evaluation was quite different. One airbag had rotted out and the other was close. They said there were no tire or u joints issues make your own decision.

I needed to get a tow and AAA sent me Kirk's. They showed up at the time they said they would, and Adam the driver is a very pleasant and knowledgeable person. He helped with letting me know places I could get a vehicle. Over all I would have Adam tow me again

I called Kirk's in Plymouth because my daughter is a student at Plymouth State University and had a flat tire. I spoke with Kris who was very helpful and arranged to have the vehicle towed to their shop. The tire was deemed to be unrepairable and they gave me a fair price to replace all four tire as the other three were close to being out of spec. They ordered the tires that afternoon and we had the car back the next morning. They also offered to have the car brought back over to the School when it was done. For a parent that is not in the area, its nice to know there are still decent folks out there willing to help. Thank you!

Completely lacking business morals, The fact that he would take a car after the business owner told them not to tow it is disgusting! Not only tow the vehicle, he brought this vehicle all the way up to his house I. RUMNEY nh! Furthermore he charged the owner for inside secure storage with was more than five times the going rate of impound while the vehicle sat outside in his yard!! The owner who was putting himself through college at nhctc in Manchester was unable to locate the car for weeks because no one was notified not police, not land owner, and not the owner of the vehicle. Who had called all of the towing companies in the area including this one!! The vehicle owner had called this business twice! It finally took the vehicle owner having someone else call and asking about the car for then to admit that they had it.. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS " BUSINESS " ! Now your calling me a liar it was a red 1994 Volkswagen jetta with white rims and had a high rise wing and yes it was over four years ago!!!! And I called all of the police stations state and local so nice try! This is when you called your business Bailey Hill. They day it was towed I had saved enough money for the starter and went to put it in and my car was gone. Called police and town and No one knew anything about it.

My super hot boyfriend accidentally locked his keys in his trunk. Adam from “Kirk’s “ was very courteous, timely, and professional. He was so helpful! Definitely call this business if you need help with your vehicles!

Don’t call this company for a lock out in Plymouth. I made the mistake of not asking them how much a lock out would cost. They charged $125. I was only located a few miles from their shop. I had needed a lockout at Loon in the spring…that only cost $70. Lesson learned, but I would avoid this operation if I were you. Wish I had read the reviews first. Looks like I am not the only one who has been taken advantage of by them.

I had seen a car sitting at Kirk's for over a year so I decided to stop and and ask them about it. The women behind the counter very rudely told me that she could not sell me the car for the parts when in all reality It didn't look like the car had moved to years! I then asked her if I could just buy the parts off of the car and again she rudely replied with no I cannot sell you the car ! So then she said that she would look into ordering me the parts that I needed for my car and she would get back to me. She took my name and phone number and it has now been 3 weeks! I have even called her to see if she had looked up the parts and even after telling me that she would do so, she said Yup I can do that I haven't even had a second to look them up. To me, that's not the way customer service works! You tell a customer you're gonna do something for them, you do it!

I only bring my car here now! I’m a female mechanic, so I’m used to people trying to rip me off thinking I have no idea what they’re talking about. Kirks isn’t like that at all! Straight to the point and no nonsense. Super fair prices. Even their towing prices🤯. I haven’t needed that service from them yet (hopefully none of us do😂), but if I ever get towed I hope that’s who comes and picks me up! Across-the-board you pay about $300 for the tow and then another $300 per day of storage. Kirks charges something like only $195 for the towing and like less than $100 a day for storage (double check me on that but it’s low cost for sure). I imagine they lower prices cause it’s kind of a college town, but that still blows my mind. Very cool. Really down to earth people. 10/10 recommend!

I have 10 years towing experience under my belt and when I was towed my appearance did not reflect that at all being in slippers, I got a flat tire on the highway at midnight everything was closed so I waited until 8am till places started opening. I contacted Geico for roadside assistance and I got Adam from Kirk’s who brought me to Walmart TLE because of weird issues I had to take my tire off my car for Walmart to service it and me leaving all my tools 130 miles away Adam loaned me a 4 way tire iron and stayed with me until I was all set. That right there is the spirit in which roadside assistance should be I’m glad that in other places there are guys out there like myself and I’m honored to share a profession with the likes of these guys.

Great experience being towed with Kirk's. I was stuck on an icy downhill road in a big FedEx box truck that slid from the top about 200ft. Had to link a bunch of chains and attach to the main winch to reach me from the top. He gave me clear instructions on what I should do as he pulled me up. Very grateful to be rescued, and the man and woman who operated the tow truck were very nice!

Kirks has my elderly neighbors car for 6 months now (since February). Everytime he calls he is told they're waiting on another part. My elderly neighbor is paying car payments and insurance for 6 months now. Kirks has collected insurance payments for accident already. He was told it was painted and he could have it yesterday. He was once again carless. If my neighbor gets charged extra for their taking all this time to provide him with his completely fixed car, I will aid him in seeking legal support.

Garbage place, do not recommend. They essentially stole my friends car out of our lot's parking lot. They took her parking pass that she had hanging in her car which allowed us to park in the lot since we are residents. Then they charged her (a college student keep in mind) an absorbent amount to get her car back. And screamed at her when she tried to negotiate a payment strategy. They tried to take another one of my friends cars who also had a parking permit too but they luckily stopped them before they could get to it.

Kirks is a very poor excuse of a business. What a complete joke. Called them the evening before the day I wanted a f-550 towed from Campton,nh to Andover,nh not exactly a short tow. They said yes they could tow it first thing in the morning, 9:30am rolls around and nothing so I call them. Dispatch advises she will call the driver and get rite back to me with a time. 12pm rolls around still nothing so I call again she still doesn’t know what’s going on and was extremely rude. She finally called me at 1:30pm and says “I forgot to call you but the driver should be pulling in any minute”. I told her to pound sand I had gotten sick of waiting around not knowing if the truck would even be moved. I had called Arnold’s towing out of Lincoln,nh they were extremely pleasant got rite back to me with a time and not even an hour later the driver had called and told me he was on his way. They were cheaper and extremely better service.

I rent an apartment near PSU, and in the apartment's lease there are specifications about parking and allowing guests to park on areas owned by the landlord--anybody without a parking tag can be towed if a tenant calls them in. I had to take a friend to the hospital today, and stepped out of my house only to find that my car was parked in by someone without a parking tag. I called Kirk's and was initially given an estimated wait time of 1.5 hours. I borrowed my roommate's car to take my friend to the hospital, and when I returned four hours later, the car blocking me was still there. Subsequently, I called Kirk's again and was admittedly a little frustrated, the woman who answered the phone (a different woman from the first time) told me she was sorry, and that she would relay my request to one of the drivers. Another hour went by, and I called again. This time, the same woman who answered the phone the first time picked up with a nasty tone of voice and told me that the driver had come by my house and didn't see the car I described, so he left. I explained to her that the car was very much still there, and she gave me a flippant tone and proceeded to tell me that the driver was out on another call, and hung up on me. My car, at this point, has been parked in for approximately six hours--four and a half hours longer than the original wait time I'd been quoted. After half an hour went by and there was still no sign of any improvement, and my car remained blocked in, I called again. The same woman as last time picked up, and was extremely rude to me without paying any heed to the issue that I had now been putting up with for SIX AND A HALF HOURS. Twenty minutes after the last call ended, the driver showed up--but by this time the car I had called about had been moved. I spoke to the driver briefly, explaining the situation, and he was absolutely lovely to talk to--very respectful, understanding of how livid I was with the unacceptable wait time and positively nasty treatment I'd endured by the woman on the phone. I am absolutely dumbfounded that the receptionist who answered 3/4 of my calls is permitted to answer phones when she is so disrespectful and downright nasty to people who call seeking assistance. If it wasn't for the kindness of the driver who arrived, I would NEVER use this company again (though because they seem to have a contract with my landlord, there doesn't seem to be any way for me to escape this). In short: the receptionist is absolutely atrocious. The driver I met with seemed very nice and willing to help, and it wasn't his fault that the issue simply wasn't communicated to him in a timely manner. If you need to call Kirk's for towing services, don't be upset with the driver who arrives if it's been a long wait, it's likely he just didn't know about your call at all.

Called AAA for tow truck at 8:45am. Advised stuck on steep driveway. ETA kept changing last one was at 1115am.We walked 1/2 mile back up hill to house as AAA stated tow company (KURTS TRUCKING AND AUTO) would CALL when they were close. Guess they showed up,left and refused call. Not recommended if you need help. A simple courteous phone call would have gone a long way.

Don't let them tow your vehicle and God forbid it's because of an accident!! My mother's car, and she wasn't even the one driving it at the time, they charged her $195+$75/day storage... to park at their garage beside the road!! End result, she had to pay the$195 just to get her things out and gave them the car, the bill was over $1000 in less than 2 weeks! Their website says they treat customers like family? HA!! I'd hate to be related to them! She might have become a customer and had her car fixed there if they hadn't taken advantage of her, they KNEW she could not afford to pay that! Looking at these reviews I can't understand why this place is even still in business! Disgusting!!

I was told I would get a free estimate on my car, and that theybwouldnt do any paid work wothout my consent. When I told them I was not going to do the job with them, they became very rude very quickly and charged a $40 diagnostics fee citing that 'the estimate is free but the diagnostics are not'. My vehicle broke down while I was on an out of state trip and the tow truck AAA sent suggested I bring the car to Kirks. I did some research upon getting home and saw that they have a bad reputation, (not to mention an F rating from the Better Business Bureau) so I decided to have the car towed elsewhere, and they refused to let the truck on property till I paid their phony charge, and that on top of that they couldn't accept a credit card payment over the phone and that I would have to come up from Rhode Island to pay them in person before releasing my vehicle. Total nightmare and bad business ethic, I would avoid using them at all costs and beware, if your car ends up here, one way or another they'll find a way to charge you for it.
