Long story short:
I drove to town for NYE and my car ended up breaking down which would've resulted in thousands in repairs. They instead recommended I find something else while I'm in town and would help me get the old one salvaged. At the end of it all, my car was there for over a month taking up space in their shop and literally the ONLY thing they had me pay for was to ship some of my belongings that were in the old vehicle to my home. They even waited for me to send a copy of my title to get the old one salvaged and even sent me the money they received for it when they could've easily kept it for storage fees or for the work they put into running diagnostics.
By far the most helpful and honest shop I have ever had the pleasure of working with and they seriously go above and beyond even for the small things, regardless of how "big" of a job it is for them at the end of the day. Aly was a huge help as were all the other staff I spoke with over the phone. Thanks again for all the help when you didn't even have to lift a finger!
Update to Post. On Friday January 30th my AC compressor seized up. I had my truck towed to this shop, as they had done work for me in the past. They call and said my truck was ready Monday evening. The next day I had issues with the AC. I also noticed a discrepancy in the invoice from the previous work I had done. Mac responded quickly and we were able to handle the situation amicably. I would use them again. I'll just check the invoice and test the AC before I leave. LOL

Friendly and excellent service. Answered my questions. Were prompt on updates and communication. Diagnosed and fixed my oil leak problem on my Tacoma quickly. All done in one day with reasonable pricing.

I feel safe coming here as a female. It's so hard to find a place where they don't discrimate and rip you off. This place will not only break down the pricing for you but will treat you and your vehicle with respect and honesty. They will not try to force you to get things done either, rather they will tell you what's important and can schedule future repairs accordingly. Prices are fair and honest.

They saved our vacation ! Passing thru from Michigan and our 2016 Jeep wrangler was over heating. We just changed the water pump and thermostat before we left so we were baffled! They got us right in and had it done by the end of the day! They also brought us back to our motorhome and picked us back up! They flushed the system for air and put a new thermostat in ,guess ours was faulty and fixed/ replaced the coolant sensor!They are the nicest people and I would highly recommend them to anyone!!! I can’t say enough good things about this family run business. We were travelling from Canada back down to our RV in Boulder and broke down at the halfway point. with a number of different ABS lights coming on. We limped our way down here to Boulder City and we were able to get my truck Into the garage to be looked at. although they didn’t have any appointments available, they managed to squeeze us in and within an hour told us everything that was wrong with the front end of my truck that had to be fixed. Their pricing was very competitive. I even managed to save a few dollars compared to what it would cost in Canada to get it done at Ram. Mack the service advisor really knows his stuff! He took excellent care of us. We will definitely be using their business in the future for our maintenance needs. Thank you everyone!

Best repair station you can trust. They don't do upscale or hidden fees. Honest people who worry about your safety. I even drove 40 minutes to this place. But it's worth it.

Mack is the main reason for my 5 star review. He's straight up and he's easy to communicate with. I don't know anything about cars. They are very spendy and slightly price gouge for what you pay for which is my only complaint. In the end I still find them worth the money because they stood by their work. Their documentation is thorough and they put additional notes on the invoices to explain or help me remember certain things.
Only place in Boulder City I trust with my aftermarket 4runner. The techs there are savvy with off-road vehicles. Oil changes and alignments on the regular with no issues.
These guys are great. On a road trip and had an issue in this heat wave with my Ford Maverick. Gentleman inside didn't hesitate to run out, check everything out, and determined it was just having some issues due to the heat. Very kind, informative, and helpful to cross it all off. Great place.
Great shop! I'm really glad my co workers recommend this shop to me. Mack and the techs at First Choice did a great job working on my Lincoln. Will definitely be back when future repairs are needed.
Ted and Mack always take care of me. Appointments are easy to make and always prompt to get me in for my servicing. Quick turnaround and fair pricing. Always cheerful customer service even when they are super busy. Most times, I will drop off my truck for a service in the morning and it’s ready by early afternoon. They have an out of hours key drop also, which is handy.
I have been using First Choice Auto for about 20 years now and hands down they are the best in Las Vegas, Ted the owner ,Mack up front to the boys in the back. if your looking for a mechanic I would highly recommend giving First Choice a try.

I have a 2002 Toyota Forerunner and it needs help every once in a while. This place always helps out and provides good service. I will continue to use them for as long as I own this vehicle. Unfortunately, older vehicle seem to have quirks which this location helps keep moving.
I had to find a new mechanic that is in the area and gave first choice auto a try. Needed new brakes, radiator, several things and they gave great service. Unfortunately, a connection of some sort wasn't properly done and a few days ago my car started overheating. I called in a panic and they advised what to do. I brought it in and they fixed the connection and aren't going to charge me. Excellent service and Mack is great!
Visiting the lake when I started hearing what I suspected was wheel bearing noise on my Ford F150. Normally I do all my own work but with no place to perform a repair like this, I was stuck. My main concern was getting it diagnosed correctly, and then repaired correctly at a reasonable cost.
After looking around and reading reviews, I took a chance on First Choice. Glad I did. They fulfilled ALL of my expectations. Just got back from a round trip to Carson City with no problems. Big thank-you to all the crew at First Choice!
I've gone to every auto shop in Boulder City and got the best service and prices at First Choice auto. Mac at the front desk is really helpful and I would recommend first choice to anyone in Boulder City or the surrounding area. Go to them first and I'm willing to bet you'll get the best price for the work. I'd give 10 stars if possible..
While on a road trip our van broke down. We took it to one shop in the area , they were going to charge an outrageous price for the repairs as well as not allow us to see how they were fixing it. So instead of going with that repair shop. Needles to say, w took our van to first choice auto. They understood we were living in the van at the time so they made our home/vehicle top priority at getting it fixed. Unfortunately while the vehicle was being fixed our cat jumped out and was lost forever. At any rate First Choice Auto was great to us. They charged a very reasonable price as well as have us a lesson on how to fix It in the future. A guy by the name of Maynard who worked there at the time took us to Vegas also he was very nice. Good group of mechanics here. They really took care of our Van. Thank you!
