I scheduled the College Hunks in Lincoln for our move. We did a video walk through of the house and they quoted $2500 and 9 hours. I questioned several times whether it would really take 9 hours. They assured me that was it. I then scheduled 3 packers in addition.
The move ended up taking just over 20 hours and ended up being almost 3 times what they quoted. The packers also never showed. Had they showed it wouldn’t have taken as long. They also didn’t finish the job. I’ll end up moving the rest myself.
After bringing my frustrations to College Hunks they advised me since I’ll be filing a claim they can’t come back and finish the job. Extremely disappointing to say the least!
Shon and Terry were awesome! They were prompt, professional, and polite. They took great care with moving our things up and down the stairs. I will absolutely use this service again and request them. They worked efficiently as a team and are very knowledgeable.
We’ve used College Hunks several times for pickup after reno projects. Terrion and Sean were awesome at our last job. Quick, friendly and gave us a reasonable price. Would definitely hire again.

Professional. High energy. Super motivated. They padded and wrapped all of my furniture prior to moving. Did an excellent job of expressing what was covered during the move when it comes to damage which gave me peace of mind with my furniture and goods. They worked hard for eight hours in the sun going up and down stairs and never once complained. Great representation for the business and I would highly recommend their services.

The guys - actual movers - are great; used them before. Lincoln franchise business office is not to be trusted. We had to cancel our move - well in advance of the reserved move date - because my wife needed surgery. I was told my deposit would be refunded. That was months ago. I've been told that "the check is in the mail" - on 3 different occasions. Staff person answering the phone even swore he saw the manager"write the check." I guess they forgot to mail it - no check. I've called the National office which has contacted the local franchise - nothing. We will move - but you can bet i will find someone else. Funny...they say in their ad that the "H" in HUNKS is for "honesty." They are anything but honest. And the "S" certainly doesn't stand for "smart" - for the cost of a postage stamp and a returned deposit they have lost the revenue from a move.
We used college hunks twice for moving in a month and they did a great job. Travis, Damien, Phil and Peeair (and Shayla too!) were easy to work with, very respectful and fun to work with. Would definitely use them again!

This was the third time I have used College Hunks for a move and they didn't disappoint me. Great service all around! Responded quickly to a request for a quote and quick move date, sent Trey and Terrion out to provide the service (both fantastic), moved the furniture quickly and within the estimate provided. I couldn't ask for more. If something needs moving, I will definitely be calling the College Hunks.
College Hunks moved me out of the Donovan Apartment Homes and into a much cleaner, nicer home. I am still having so many issues with Donovan’s, but College Hunks really took so much stress off of my plate.

Able to set up appointment speedily and within my time frame. The two staff were promptly on time, understood my brief 1/2 page of directions and concerns, and with little direction carried out all my tasks in rearranging several rooms on three levels and bringing all items to appropriate places, with little guidance, and
asked appropriate questions and also gave me several good ideas for alternatives on a few items I didn't know where or what to do with. Took shorter amount of time than I expected. Very conscience and told me about another service they have which might help me in cleaning up another big garage project. This is third time I have used Hunks over the years, and highly recommend them.
I had Travis and Shon help with junk/donations on July 29, 2025. They did an awesome quick job. Both were very professional, polite and friendly. This was the MOST FANTASTIC service ever!!!! We were moving out of a 3100 sq ft home and these guys got it taken care of in under 3 hours. Absolutely incredible how attentive & efficient (and hilarious) this group was, made the move so stress free for our group and really alleviated so much of the moving anxiety. I used your services in aug of 2023 and was extremely satisfied. I moved from Omaha to Lincoln no problem no issues the guys were friendly and efficient. I paid $630. This past Monday I moved back to Omaha from Lincoln less boxes same furniture the guys were very friendly 1 was trying to be efficient the other a chatty Cathy. He forgot his tools knowing they had to take a bed apart. He also said my couch wouldn’t fit through the door. My couch is not bulky nor oversized. There was a lot of back and forth with my apartment complex because I couldn’t understand how the other residents fit couches in but my regular size couch wouldn’t fit. I was told if he had a ladder he could get it through the balcony so I asked maintenance for a ladder but then the excuse was he didn’t have his straps. If he wasn’t prepared why even say it. I don’t understand how but my couch miraculously fit once maintenance showed up. Even though he tried milking my time it still was the same amount of time as in 2023. I ended up paying $930 this time. They charged for tape and tv bags which were not quoted to me. I was told $150 an hr. I will NEVER use you again and will recommend to everyone I know and meet to not use you. And you can try saying inflation but nah not 30% more.
Terry and Damian were wonderful to work with; fair with their quote and friendly service. They were quick and didn't damage anything; very mindful of taking care of the walls and rails in the house.
