After having another shop attempt to diagnose an issue on my wife’s jeep, they recommended this shop as they thought maybe the issue was transmission/differential related. I worked with Dan and after running their tests they concluded they didn’t think the issue was transmission related. First this I appreciate here is that they could’ve easily said there was something in the transmission and charged and arm and a leg to fix and or replace it, but they didn’t, they were upfront and honest that they didn’t think my issue was transmission related. When I came to pick the car up, Dan and I were discussing the issue and at some point in the conversation he got an idea to look at something and we ended up diagnosing a bad engine mount. Thanks to his honesty and patience, I didn’t have to replace a transmission and he correctly diagnosed a bad $80 part that I was able to replace in an afternoon. Shops like this are hard to come by where they don’t try to fleece money for the sake of it, instead are honest and communicative with the customer about what they need.

I would recommend them to anyone that needs their transmission worked on.

They have done work on a couple of my vehicles and they stand behind, in front and all around their work. The best for the quality of work...

Took my Jeep to Apollo for transmission service recommended by my new mechanic. Dan diagnosed and fixed the issue. Also, he fixed a mystery leak at no cost that was not related to the transmission that had been misdiagnosed by my former mechanic, thereby saving me hundreds of dollars. Thank you guys for excellent service.

Came in looking for a fluid change on my 4Runner. Dan helped me set up an appointment for the following week. Dropped the truck off before 8 and picked it up around 4... I had called around to six different places getting quotes and availability and Dan was the best priced place and also has the reviews to back it up! I will definitely be having him do the work on it from now on. The prices for all of the materials (fluid, filters, washers, etc...) were basically the same from place to place, but labor price is where this place stands above the others. Great service and customer service here!

I can say they took care of my 87’ Monte Carlo and explained to me everything they had to do and I’m satisfied with their service

Dan the man 🙌💪 ima keep it short and simple , quality of work is awesome , the man is true to his word if you tell him your symptoms of your transmission and he recommends a trans rebuilt or replace, or whatever the case is, 10x10 he’s knows what he talking about and pay them to to fix whatever u need , He ain’t gonna steer u the wrong way. Service that's above and beyond! Went in for vibration on my Ford explorer. They found the problem quickly and following the repair they answered any of my questions. The people who work there when talking to them obviously had many years of knowledge behind them and it was a very positive interaction. They have my business in the future and I can definitely tell other people about them.

I have my transmission rebuilt there couple of years later it went back out my warranty was up but Dan said my warranty was up with time but not mileage so he knocked a significant amount off my bill they really stand by they products I will never go anywhere else and I miss Mr Joe they are great guys.

I dealt with Dan and he was very helpful and honest...my truck was completed earlier than estimated which was a plus because I was down to one vehicle at the time...no hidden surprises and the cost was as estimated....I highly recommend apollo transmission and this will be my go too shop if I am ever in the market again for ant transmission problems in any other vehicles....thanks again Dan for the outstanding job and customer service....

Had my car for 3 weeks and still had to send it to dealership to replace the trans, and less than 20 mins after picking it up same problem reoccurred.

A friend of mine with years in the car business recommended Apollo so I took my truck in because I was having transmission issues. When I came back to pick it up the Owner said "No charge it was just low on fluid". I asked him how much time he spent on it and he said about 30 minutes. I told him I wanted to pay him something for his time and fluid he added. He wouldn't take a dime. He told me to just remember him next time I needed transmission work. He said he doesn't pay for advertising and relies on word of mouth. He could have charged me just about any amount and I'd would have paid it and been happy the problem was solved. You don't find that kind of people much anymore.

Had to use their services a few times and they got me right every time. Very professional and respectful with reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend.

Apollo transmission replaced the transmission in my truck about a year ago. Last week my truck got stuck in park. I gave them a call and he sent 2 of his guys to pick up my truck and take it back to the shop to look at it. I got a call less then hour later that they had fixed it. Even though the part that broke was not under the 2 year warranty, they charged me nothing. They even sent someone to pick me up and take me to the shop to pick it up. Top notch customer service.

I had some concerns about my transmission so took it in. They looked over everything and discovered I just needed a couple quarts of fluid. Very friendly. Great place.

I was treated with all the courtesy and given a very good job on my transmission. And I'm very satisfied with the work that was done.

Great group of guys that can handle everything from maintenance up to custom installations and projects. I can definitely vouch for the quality of the work. They have earned my trust and I will definitely be seeing them for any future work instead of one of the chain companies.

November 7 2019 ,,,,,Took my dodge charger to do a transmission swap and man there the best at what they do I got referred from the people I bought it from and my car shifts like butter cant feel any jerk when you go into gear or nothing love the results thanks to all the ppl from apollo and owner -joe merino they got my car running at its best thanks I really appreciate it. Was referred here by my regular repair shop. Best experience ever on a major repair, complete transmission rebuild. Joe Merino, the owner, very nice, polite, and showed concern for my problem. Gave an estimate for best case and worst case. Final charge was pretty much in the middle of the range. Hundreds of dollars cheaper than the GM dealership. Delivered the repairs in 3 days as promised. One of the cleanest shops I have ever been in. Car has never shifted better even when brand new. Was so impressed with this shop took my other vehicle in today for regular transmission service.

Wow these guys are amazing. Ive got a 2003 ford f150 truck. My inspection plug just disappeared. Ive gone to every salvage yard in the city no plug ford no longer made them. As I was driving down 40Hwy looked saw the place and stopped went in explained my situation, I was focused on keeping rocks and junk from messing up my flywheel. The one guy said hold just a second I'll be back. Then the man walks out a puts in my hand what id been searching for. Then said go pay someone 5 bucks to put it in. They did not charge me. Thank you. Id trust these guys to the end. THANK YOU.

Good, honest service. Had my car done within 36 hours for a tranny rebuild. Honors their warranty and their work. Very knowledgeable and friendly mechanics.

Apollo Transmission Services kept my vehicle 3x longer than I was initially told and charged me $80 more than the quoted "out-the-door" price. When I questioned the price change, one of their shop techs, Shannon, yelled, cussed and threatened me. I have also learned that they install one of the cheapest transmission kits on the market - Precision. I won't be going back even for warranty work. There is a reason they are the cheapest in town.

We brought our 2003 Ford Explorer in for a transmission rebuild. Joe gave us a quote and stood by it. They made the repairs and went over everything with us. They made me feel comfortable that they are a honest group who will be there after the repair is made. I will thoroughly recommend Apollo to anyone I know with transmission problems. I normally do not write reviews, but in the last month or so, I have received such great service from two small local businesses that I felt I had to do something to let them know how much I appreciated their great customer service, something which is a rarity in these days. Anyway, about a month ago I took my 2005 F150 over to Apollo Transmission to get a quote on what it would cost to have the transmission replaced in my truck. I had been having problems with it for over four months. I probably should have taken it in sooner, but last year the transmission went out in my husbands 1998 Ford Ranger, and I will still paying that off. You know what they say, when it rains, it pours :) Anyway, Joe was quick to call me back with a quote and an estimated time in which the job could be done. I was amazed. The price was right on, but the time in which he was going to get the work done, was going to be a lot faster than what it took to get my Ranger done last year, which is great, because I don't like to be without a car. By the way, my Ranger was in the shop for about two weeks, and my F150, only 3 business days. Joe, and his crew are awesome! So, when I went to pick up my vehicle, Joe informed me that if there is ever any issues with it to bring it in right away. He even suggested that I bring it back after three weeks, just so that they can take a quick look and make sure their work is holding up to standards, which I did. Around four weeks after he did the work, I took it in just as he had suggested, he looked it over and in a few minutes I was back on the road. I have to say, my truck is driving better than ever. As for Joe and Apollo Transmission, thank you all for such great work. I am pleased to leave a positive review for such honest, fast, professional and kind service. You guys are great, Thanks!
