Prices felt fair yards a lil tight fork lift guy did me a solid picked my trailer up and moved it over for me so I didn't have two seasaw it a bunch to get out.
Had 20 pounds brass clean gave me $11.00 had big radiators from AC units anywhere else give you good prices for him they gave you $2 for all of them run fast as far as you can away from this place
I received my receipt for scrap aluminum but it didn't list the weight.
there are no scrap current pricing signs. its pot luck what they pay for scrap.

Quick and easy in and out want more money per pound then go to Manchester but by the time you wait in line and go here and there to unload it just better to use top metal if you all ready In indeoendence
Not only do they pay the lowest.... These dudes will cheat you on the poundage. You're likely to get a flat if you pull in their lot. There's nails and screws everywhere as if there's no such thing as a magnet.

This place is a joke, literally rob you of what your stuff is worth. The young kid was very nice and helpful but I can only hope this place goes under. It would do independence good.
If you take your scrap here to turn in for money be prepared to bend over and grab your ankles.
Worst place I've ever been to they give you maybe a third of what every other place will give you.
I highly recommend going somewhere else.
Pay out is about 30% less than all the other scrap yards in town. Their scales are a little short as well. Only go here if you have to.... Like Sundays.
Love this place I take all my job site scrap and it pays best from all the local spots! Don’t let the bad reviews fool you, there’s a sign on site saying no separating material on site, and no one is obligated to help you unload idk why people think so. And to those who complained about getting flat tires. It’s known you enter at your own risk. Love this place the world just complains!
Worse place EVER to take your scrap to. They cheated us 1.20 extra a pound. Every other junk yard pays about $2.20 to 2.40 a lb for brass and they gave me $1.00 a lb lmao.. DON'T EVER BRING ANY SCRAP TO THEM. THE WORSE SCARP YARD IN MISSOURI!!!! THEY DONT DESERVE A STAR BUT HAD TO GIVE 1 FOR REVIEW..

My brother lives close so we went there. I weighed everything. $110.00 for $300.00 worth of clean copper. I will be consulting the BBB.
Would not recommend. They make you hand unload everything into small containers to weigh it. Don't pay well either. Takes a long time. Isn't an organized place. Not flexible. Workers look of questionable character.
The people here will try to cheat you out of your materials worth with underpayment. I go to a few places and price checked, this one was one of the bad one along with 12th street in kansas city on Jackson. Be sure to know your metal type and the minimum payment for it, CLEAN MATERIAL/NEW/LIKE NEW has the highest worth in its class. Don't get duped people.
Would not recommend this place. Husband had a horrible experience here. Said everyone had attitudes and acted like they didn't wanna be there and was rushing him through. We scrap. Kinda our thing. So when I say the one in KC called Langley is amazing. Nice people. I'd go there. Then trust me. Plus we know our scrap and we know you took us. I'd rather leave a review and take a $250 lose for the day then argue about it with people who don't like their jobs.
So I called this place and the guy I talked to said $100 a pound for galvanized steel I showed up I know I had anywhere from 160 to 200 lb and I only got $11
