Ari is the most trustworthy mechanic I know. He’s been working on my family’s cars for like 8 years and each time is a success. He gives you a diagnostic but doesn’t push extra work. He’s definitely not all about the money and let’s you know what services you should prioritize on your car!

Our family has been bringing our vehicles to Sci-Tech for several years. We keep coming back because Ari has repeatedly shown himself to be honest and always looking to save us money, when at all possible. For example, the last repair we had done just a few weeks ago (a brake job), it looked very much like our car was going to need a new master cylinder and I had already expressed that I was willing to pay for one. Instead, Ari called back with good news that they would be able to salvage the existing one (only needed to replace a line and caliper). This saved us over $400. And there have been other examples like this. In a culture where mechanics could easily add unnecessary work for their gain, we continue to trust that Ari and Sci-Tech are instead looking out for our best interests.

Ari and the team at Sci-Tech are amazing. They always go beyond expectations and display a level of professionalism that is often not seen in today’s service world. I would HIGHLY recommend giving Sci-Tech a try the next time you need your vehicle serviced.

They quoted me a price way cheaper than other shops for the same amount of work. They have discounts for AAA members on top of that. They also got me in fast and finished me out same day. Overall definitely will come back if I find anymore issues with my vehicle moving forward. Did I mention he gave me good advice on things to fix in the future but didn’t push me to get the things done right then and there or even to get them done at his shop if I wanted to save on costs like most shops. Definitely a caring person!

I had an excellent experience and the communication and the dedication from Ari and the mechanics at SciTech Grandview was stellar. I had to take my vehicle in from a previous repair that wasn’t all the way repaired properly and Ari made sure to diagnose root cause and fix issue. I would recommend location to anyone looking for repair work needed that won’t price gouge and get fixed what needs to get fix. Took our truck in for an inspection. As most Missourians know, this process can easily turn into a hassle. This establishment got us scheduled with no hassle. Once we dropped the vehicle off, they finished the inspection much quicker than I expected. They recommended an oil change that was due and had very competitive prices for oil changes. They kept us informed and up to date as soon as it was finished. Never felt like they tried to sell services that were not needed which is a typical fear when it comes to mechanic shops. All in all, I was very pleased with our 1st interaction. Will definitely use again for other services and our other car.

A trusted friend recommended this place. I see why! They are cheaper than other places I called inquiring about rear brakes on my Tiguan. When I took my car in, the gentleman running the office (I forgot his name. Maybe starts with an A?) was super helpful! He was thorough in his explanations & I left with knowledge on how to make my car last longer. As a woman, auto shops can sometimes be intimidating, but this guy really makes you feel comfortable with leaving your car in his care. 10/10 experience.

Sci Tech Automotive is the absolute best place to have your car serviced! Been taking my car here for over 6 years, for everything from an oil change to transmission issues. They never disappoint! Great customer service, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. As a single female, I always feel empowered to make car decisions and trust that the work being done is needed. I had a flat tire several hours away from home and the guys at Sci-Tech were amazing! They prioritized getting the tire changed for me, so I could make it home that day! Ari took great care of my car and me, told me it wouldn't be done for a while. Expected it to be not until super late in the day but they had it done in the next hour and a half. Did the work that I requested them to, filled my tires and everything. Mechanic was even super nice, after all the extra work they did and the required work which was an oil change, tire rotation, checked my brakes, filled my tires, replaced my cabin filter (which is a pain to change) all for under $100. Customer service was super nice on top of all the good work they did, highly recommend the Grandview, MO location!

I have used Sci-Tech Automotive for over 15 years! They are fast, honest, and reliable! Ari makes sure I understand repairs and costs. I truly believe Sci-Tech has added longevity to my 2003 Yukon XL by keeping her in tip top shape. In fact, they just replaced brakes and did some other repairs so my 18 year old son is able to rely on my 18 year old vehicle at college this fall.

I had some car issues leaving Kansas City to go back to Texas. My car was overheating come to find out I needed a thermostat and some otherb issues with overheating. I have used this business before in the past and they were always very nice and never tried to get over on me, like some be shops will do since I'm a woman. Ari, is the sweetest nicest person that you could ever meet. He was helpful, the job was done quickly, he kept me up to date since I'm in Texas and my car was there in Kansas City that was very very much helpful. He even requested, no he insisted that I give him a call when I make it back to Texas to ensure I made it back safely. What I paid was very reasonable for the work that was done. I would most definitely recommend this auto shop to anyone. Thank you again Ari for everything.

I can not say enough GREAT things about this business. I am a single female and mom and not once did I feel taken advantage of. I usually do many repairs myself. But if I can’t or don’t want to, this is my go to mechanic shop. Ari is a great person and will only do what is required or requested to get your vehicle running right. He has always been honest and straightforward on the repairs I have needed and they have been done in a timely manner. I have never had to make a repeat visit for the same issue or for anything that wasn’t done right. Their pricing is fair for everything I have had done and they communicate very well with text updates. I have trusted them with my wife’s and daughter’s vehicles as well as my own. Sci-Tech are your local trusted mechanics.

This is a great shop. Service writer Ari is friendly and reassuring, provides thorough explanations, and helps prioritize what your car really needs vs what can wait. The techs are polite and do excellent work with a quick turnaround time. This is not the cheapest shop in town, but you get what you pay for!

On my very first visit, they showed exactly why they were highly recommended by several friends. They are fast, they provide constant communication with updates, they're professional, helpful, and honest. I dropped my vehicle off-hours with a body issue they don't service, and they took it upon themselves to ship it up the road to a body shop that could get me what I needed. I ended it bringing it back to them the next day for some routine service I'd normally have gotten elsewhere because I was so impressed with the way they handled things. It's a good bit farther from my house than where I normally get service, but I can guarantee I'll be back here for all my service needs from now on. Definitely worth the drive.

Ari is very personable and straight forward. He was able to get my vehicle in and looked over very quickly and thoroughly when it started acting up. He was very comforting and ensured that while nothing seemed to be seriously wrong with it now, if i have any additional concerns in the future I can bring it right in and he will take care of it. Trustworthy mechanic and treats customers like family. Will definitely be making them my go-to auto shop.

This was our first experience at Sci-Tech Automotive and it definitely will not be our last. Ari and his staff our very customer service focused from the moment you walk in until the job is completed. They are very honest and frequently communicate with you along the entire process. First of all, I have rarely been at an auto care shop where a crew works so hard with you to not only document what a car needs, But help you pick in accordance of budget and experience. Secondly, the crew goes based on your time and the most thorough work possible. They take photos and give you a full printout of everything they see. Third the crew goes far above and beyond to do excellent work. These guys genuinely stand behind what they do and aim to assist in meeting a person's needs. These guys take pride in their job and in genuinely shows. John the owner and Ari the gentleman who runs the place have a great thing going here. This is the best auto shop in Kansas City and they don't jerk you around. Thanks y'all!!!

I have been very pleased with my two visits to Sci-Tech. The first was for an inspection which went well. The second time I brought my car in was because I noticed something hanging down underneath my car, to find out that it was the strap that holds my gas tank up. I brought it in right away and they fixed it in about 15-20 minutes. When I went to pay, they said not to worry about the bill. My experience is that they have been honest and very helpful. I would definitely recommend them to a friend!
