This place is great. I always get fast service. They’re very polite and it’s very reasonably priced. I came in to have my battery. Check to see if I need a new one and they told me no I’m good good honest people.
Always get good service at Sunset! The guys are friendly and attentive. The first time I took my vehicle there, another repair shop had told me just over $1000.00 to fix an issue with my power steering, that they had already fixed a few times. I took my car to Sunset, just told them I had an issue with the power steering to see what they would recommend. The mechanic said that I need a small part to stop a leak and that parts and labor would be $150.00. I asked him if he was sure and he said yes it’s a simple fix. That was about six or seven years ago and they have treated me like gold ever since. Highly recommend Sunset Tire and Service!
John was super helpful in guiding me to the best tires for my Jeep Wrangler based on the performance I was looking for. He took the time to research options and find me the best tire within my price range, and he worked hard to get me a great deal.
Sunset is my go-to for all my vehicle maintenance needs-not just tires. I truly trust them not to take advantage of me. As someone who knows the basics about auto repair, I really appreciate that they always take the time to explain any repairs they recommend and are never pushy. They even encourage me to do my own research and explore other other options-but I always end up coming back to them.

5/5 stars! I was on a road trip passing through Osage Beach and had unexpected car trouble. I’m very thankful that I was close enough to get towed to Sunset Tire! They got me in that day and had me back on the road within a few hours. Changed out the necessary parts (replaced the belt and a pulley that fell off) and double checked my oil before we headed back out as we had 10+ hours still to go! The guys were very nice and the price was reasonable. I was also thankful for their kids’ corner. My young kids were entertained with all the toys the shop had and not once asked the dreaded “are we done yet?!”. Thank you Sunset Tire and Service! Hopefully my next road trip is less eventful, but If I’m ever passing back through and need anything, I will absolutely be back!

We were at the Osage Beach Campground when we experienced a blown tire on the camper. The campground called Sunset Tire and within 20 minutes Mike was there to assist us. He had everything on our camper fixed in 90 minutes so we could take off in the morning. Mike was extremely helpful and knew what he was doing. Great service and responsibly priced! Thank you!
This is the only shop I fully trust. The mechanics are knowledgeable and get to the root of the issue. It’s clear they want to help you get back on the road, not empty your pockets. I will continue to use Sunset tire as long as I live at the lake.
Called several days before and ask if I needed to make an appointment for a saftey inspection and the guy said naaaaa no need they can always get people in ! I hired someone to watch my 91 year old Mother as I care for her and went to sunset and was told they didn’t have time at 830 am and it would be late afternoon before they could get to it ? This guy workin the front is very unprofessional and rude ! I told them I called and what I was told ? So I went and got right in at BIG O IN OSAGE BEACH ! People have no idea or I believe do not care at all about the hardship they cause you and the proof is their IS NEVER ANY FOLLOW UP FROM HIGHER UPS ON THESE THINGS !
Unbelievable how fast Sunset Tire was able to get my husband in and out with the utmost hospitality and beyond fair priced services. When we visit places for vacation, we look at the overall service and hospitality, and Lake of the Ozarks has it. Thank you Sunset Tire & Service for getting us back on the road with a safe vehicle.
I cannot Thank Hi Tech Automotive/Towing enough, for helping my girlfriend when she blew out a tire on Hwy 54 at Osage Beach. She said the tow truck person was professional, polite and genuinely cared about the situation she was in, especially since it was intermittently raining & along a busy curve of Hwy 53. And she had 4 more hours to drive to get to her final destination. Evidently, there was a little difficulty in finding her location along Hwy 54, but the tow truck employee had even told her ...I'm glad I didn't give up on finding you. Hi Tech Automotive/Towing gets more than 5 stars if you ask us!
These guys are AWESOME!! Were able to get me in and out on the same day. They also allowed me to bring my own parts. Friendly staff and are reasonably priced. Highly recommend them and will continue to use them.
Me and my gfs car broke down this summer at the lake, and although they were quick to get us in on short notice and the service was satisfactory. We came into a problem with one of their programs which to me seems predatory. They have a payment program to help people with the upfront cost. I’m not sure if it was a mistake or they did it on purpose but they set up the payment plan so we wouldn’t pay off the rest of the debt in time “by a day” within the 3 month period, so in turn we had to pay the entirety of the interest accumulated. Which cost us an extra $400+. Beware of the dates they set for you on your payment plan!
We live in Alabama and were at Osage Beach when we got a screw in the sidewall of one of our tires. We went to Sunset Tire and they took great care of us. They explained all of our options, the costs involved, and had us back on our way in no time.
Being from out of town there’s always the concern of being taken advantage of, and it was so refreshing to be treated so kindly and so fairly. They were extremely professional and accommodating, and I can’t recommend them high enough.
Check Engine light came on in my Tahoe. Took it to a place that was close to my work, wasn’t getting great vibes on what they were telling me and how they were telling me. Called Sunset at 4:30pm and talked with Jeremey, told me to drop it off in the morning. Got there before 7am and doors were open and was welcomed. Very polite and even offered me a ride to my work if I didn’t have anyone pick me up. Called me within 3hours of it being there with the problem and had it fixed. Told them I would be there in a few hours to pick it up and they offered to come pick me up if needed so I could get it. Got there, they explained this issue, gave me a detailed bill and answered all my questions. Will be back! -Madison
Stopped by without an appointment to see if they could address a slow leak on one of my tires. They not only fixed the problem within 45 minutes but the cost was reasonable, the staff was super courteous and facilities clean and pleasant. The coffee bar was awesome!
AMAZING!!! If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. I had a big repair on my Jeep and it really stressed me out. They kept me at ease the whole time and in the loop through every step of the repair process. I always received a call before any repair decisions were made. They truly are the best, friendliest, and most professional team I have ever worked with. I will definitely being coming here from now on with not only my car, but all the cars in my family!
We had a great experience with Sunset! We drove in from out of town and something went wrong with our truck as we were driving in. Sunset was the only place open on Saturday. So glad they were! Christian (I believe that was his name!) was super helpful and very nice in explaining the issue and being upfront about everything. They got us in on Monday after ordering the part on Saturday and fixed the issue within 3 hours. Super quick and great service! They only place we will go when we are at the lake! Highly recommend!
