Outstanding Service and Great People! I purchased a Roll-n-Lock retractable tonneau cover at Rack Attack in St Louis Park for my F150. From start to finish the experience was exceptional. The team didn’t just sell me a cover—they made sure it fit perfectly and functioned exactly as it should. They spent extra time adjusting and testing everything until it was just right. The staff are friendly, kind, and true professionals. These guys combine real expertise with down-to-earth, honest service. It’s rare to find people who go above and beyond like this anymore. Rack proceeds to break fall off my car.. when do you think after spending $2,000 on a business they would offer you some type of partial refund or some type of anything. Joke of a company. They do not take care of their customers and have lost one now.. now my mint condition is dented. And instead of telling me when I was there I should have bought an oem rack because they would have lost business they didn't and that's not good business giving someone the opportunity to choose that's a good business

Stopped in with a problem with a new to me (used) roof box. The staff was helpful and kind. Helped me with my problem; and I was on my way in 10 minutes. Didn't buy from them with it being used, but would absolutely send business their way!

Just purchased a 2 inch hitch and receiver with install from Rack Attack and couldn't be any happier. They did a great job with the installation, quick and efficient while you wait. Absolutely AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE, BEST PRICE, great selection, and in-stock inventory!! There is no need to shop anywhere else!! Nathan and Jack went above and beyond to address all our questions and concerns and MORE than made sure we were satisfied (and we are very picky customers). I have bought racks elsewhere (larger outdoor stores) and those other sales reps don’t know much about racks and were not that helpful. We had a fantastic experience with Rack Attack. All of the employees are super knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. We ended up having a quirky issue with one of the rack attachments that we purchased - it was a manufacturing/design issue that was not Rack Attack’s fault. When we stopped by to show them the issue and ask their advice, they made sure we were 100% happy with our purchase before we went on our way. I highly recommend this shop and can’t say enough good about them. Nathan and Jack deserve a special thanks for their amazing customer service and professionalism (and for just being nice guys). I had a great experience at Rack Attack from beginning to end. The staff, including Nathan, were awesome. I had been recommended by a friend to go here. I called them up to get an estimate and details on an install for my vehicle. Before committing, I did want to shop around first, since it is a decent investment. I confirmed after a few Google searches, ChatGPT prompts, and a phone call, this was the best value around. The install came out perfect. I have a custom-wrapped car, and there were no nicks or marks of any kind. Now it's time to stop typing and start biking!

Working with the guys from Rack Attack was easy and seamless. Once the parts had arrived, they notified me and I made an appointment. It only took about an hour for installation. I recommend!

Great Experience. I bought a Retrax tonneau cover and Yakima Overhead rack system, and Yakima Kayak cradles 3 years ago for my Tundra. Great experience. After 3 years of hard use, the Retrax was gritty and binding. Took it in hoping to get it back on track. The Rack Attack team fixed it.....NO CHARGE. That is amazing service!

Save yourself time and headaches and GO HERE! I purchased a bike rack elsewhere and it was not a perfect fit for my vehicle. Rack Attack helped me troubleshoot the situation and get it solved quickly and efficiently. Their customer service is awesome and I didn’t even have to wait. They installed bike rack locks as well. Highly recommend these experts for any hitch and rack needs in the Twin Cities!

I first visited the store in 2020 and was very impressed. I ended up finding a trailer to fit my needs at that time (needed to haul bikes + an adaptive bike for my daughter with special needs), but I didn’t forget about my experience. When I was recently in need for a new rack to carry my gravel bike and fat tire bike on my hitch they were my first stop. I had briefly researched a couple of model online but it only took a few moments with a knowledgeable salesperson to realize that there was really only one model that was going to fit my needs. That allowed me to focus immediately on the best solution rather than needing to go back and forth with other models. I thought I needed a rack that folded up when not in use, but the salesperson quickly pointed out that the model that would work best for actual bike transport also very easily stored inside the vehicle in a very compact size when not in use. They even offered to take the floor model out to my car to check the fit. I was sold immediately. The transaction was quick and I even had help carrying the main box and a couple of accessories out to my SUV. I was back home with my bike loaded and ready for an adventure as soon as that evening. I would definitely recommend everyone in the market for a bike rack, or other equipment racks, to stop here first. The selection in their showroom is second to none.

Extremely good product knowledge. Purchased Yakima racks for my ReTrax XR tonneau cover. Installed myself with minor direction from staff. One follow up question to service was answered promptly and accurately. Highly recommend these guys!!!

I needed a rack setup for my 2015 VW Sportwagen, had already looked at REI and they had examples but no stock. Went to Rack Attack, they had everything I was looking for (Yakima cargo basket setup)! Was in and out quickly with everything I needed and direction to set it up myself. They do offer setup for a small fee, but was confident in the setup to do at home. Used the cargo basket 100% successfully my first weekend, couldn’t be happier!! Much love, Rack Attack, I’ll be back!

They were able to sell me a Thule roof rack system for my Honda Accord the same day I contacted them. Other online retailers did not have the correct fit kit in stock. To make it even better, they were matching the 20% off sale that Thule/REI were having.

A Bad Experience, With no acknowledgment at all. I only gave this place a 2 Star Review due to how great the show floor looked, which it looked great! But other then that it was an Uncomfortable Experience. I walked in and no one even said hi. I took a stroll around the show floor to see if they possibly had what I needed for my truck, which they did. But after about 4 minutes of walking around the floor leisurely I still hadn’t received a “Hey”, or even a “Need help finding something” So then I decided to head out, since I felt like the service was subpar for a specialty store such as this. But as I was walking towards the door a new customer walked in. I would say this was a mid aged white lady who looked like a person who would hike or camp a a lot. Which I look nothing like such a person. So none the less she walked in to get greeted by a sales rep within 3ft of the door or in a few moments of entry. Which after that encounter happened I decided to stop walking and just stood there for a moment. Still got no greeting from anyone at this location. Then I left, with a feeling which made me frustrated and a bit saddened. I hope this place improves on stuff like this. Because they are losing out on good business. Also sorry I didn’t get any photos of the inside. It looks really good be they way! Would recommend checking it out if you don’t mind a possible experience like mine.

They were able to get me in for a rack install the day I called. They had great cargo container choices available without having to order. I interacted with several employees during my visit and the customer service was great. I would definitely purchases from this business again.

We had a great experience at Rack Attack. The person that helped us knew the products and helped us make the decision on what model of Thule cargo carrier to purchase. We picked the Thule Motion XT XL and love it. We also needed the unit right away and they had it in stock when nobody else did.

Rack Attack was recommended to me as "The Place" to go for bike racks. I called the day before to discuss available hitch mount bike rack options for my new jeep. The gentleman was very helpful. Didn't rush to get off the phone and even checked to see what was in stock. I decided on the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 (lightweight and compact) and went in the following day (5/30) to purchase and have it installed. The gentleman who helped me was friendly and took the time to explain how everything worked. Kudos guys, overall great experience. Good customer service is hard to come by these days. :)

Purchased a hitch in store, great customer service over the phone and with the gentleman in store. Lobby area was clean and organized. Checked out with the price quote over the phone. When I got home the hitch didn’t line up with the car frame. First I thought it was the wrong one, upon further inspection the hitch was bent on one side and had cracked paint with surface rust. After beating on it with a sledge hammer I got it to fit, I live 50 miles from the store not worth going back. Originally a lower review, company reached out right away to make it whole. Rick was respectful and took feedback to strengthen both sides. I would not hesitate to use these folks again. It says a lot for a company that takes customer service beyond the point of sale now days. Nice job guys all around

These guys are the best, always have a great attitude and are always quick to help out. They are currently fixing my custom rack that I messed up going into a ramp with the bikes on the car... I thought the front right mount was ok cracked but as you can see, the bike came off since you have to have secure mounts.
