Randy i guess is the owner of ryans auto repair took great care of me I took my car there because my car would my a thumping sound when I would turn and good thing I did because he said if I would have drove it much longer It could have broke and caused severe damage to my car he also recommended changeing both because he said once one goes out the other one usually will to so I had him do the work they got it done in a timely matter great experience i would highly recommend going there

Went to the wrong shop by mistake—and it went downhill fast. I was trying to get to Certified Auto Care of Plymouth, but ended up at Ryan's by accident. Matt greeted us and was friendly and helpful—that’s where the good experience ended. I was supposed to receive a call around 9 AM with an estimate for my brakes (that’s all I wanted done). By 9:45, I hadn’t heard back, so I called to follow up. That’s when I spoke with Pete, who was incredibly rude. He said he could get me my quote if people would stop calling and interrupting him. I was honestly shocked. Still, he said he’d call back in 15 minutes. Almost two hours later, still no call. My husband called this time, and Pete again acted irritated—he even said he wanted to talk to me, not him. Then he rattled off a mile-long list of things “wrong” with my car. When we called out how unprofessional and rude he was being, he showed no accountability and brushed us off. We told him just to wrap things up—we’d come get the car. When we got there, Pete was just as unpleasant in person. Matt was at lunch, unfortunately. To top it all off, my car was parked in the entrance/exit, not in a parking spot. Completely unprofessional. Needless to say, we won’t be going back. We drove just a few doors down to Certified Auto Care of Plymouth and were treated with kindness and professionalism. If you’re in the area, don’t make the same mistake—skip Ryan’s and go see Ray or Chris at Complete Auto!

Great auto shop. Give the small business owner your auto repair dollars instead of the big chain shops. These guys deserve it.

I reached out to Ryan's Auto Repair after my daughters car broke down in Plymouth. They towed her vehicle to the shop and was very quick to get back to me. Upon inspection, they found other things wrong with the vehicle that were really not financial viable to fix for a 20+ year old car. I was very impressed with their honesty and concern for my daughters safety, even when it cost them business. Absolutely wonderful to deal with! In 40 years of driving and maintaining cars, I've never worked with a nicer crew. But more importantly, they're quick, good, honest and fairly priced. I have a smart car. Uses premium fuel not electric or hybrid and Tuffy’s wouldn’t even diagnose it past a computer check (but still charged me) Ryan’s auto took the time to do a proper diagnosis, fix it and let me know the problem was way cheaper than I was afraid it was!!! The showed me excellent hospitality, communication and accountability. I live in Detroit and will only be going to Ryan’s auto for my cats future needs. Thank you Pete! You Rock

I brought my RAM in to Ryan's to diagnose the engine light. After digging in, they felt it may be a bigger issue and possibly covered by my extended powertrain warranty. Potentially saving me a couple thousand dollars. They were honest with me, even when it cost them business, I'll bring my vehicles back to Ryan's when they need service.

My jeep wrangler rear brake was smoking and smelled. I contacted Ryan's via email on a weekend and to my surprise they contacted me back and told me to bring it in on Monday morning. They took the time to determine what exactly was wrong..before they worked on it. I have been to other repair shops that just kept trying different things .. costing me extra money. Matt was very helpful and kept me informed throughout the process. Once they determined the brake caliper was sticking and needed to be replaced I was contacted with a quote and was told that eventually I would have to replace the rotor and pads ... But no pressure on doing it now ... Again very much appreciated that. I told them go ahead and replace it all. Once complete they called and let me know it was ready....I told them I had to wait for my husband to get home from work...they even offered to come and pick me up and bring me to the shop . Awesome customer service we will be using Ryan's auto repair for all future work and recommending them. Thank you!

My sons truck needed a new transmission and Ryan's did an EXCELLENT job! They went above and beyond to help us out and took really good care of us. Even towed us in! Highly recommend!

Good trustworthy staff, and excellent customer service. Front desk guy Pete super nice and tells you how it is. The tech that worked on my car Aaron fixed all my issues and gave recommendations on what else may need to be looked into later. These are the guys to trust!

I recently took my car in for some maintenance and other work that it needed. Ryans auto shop got our car in fast and gave us a detailed breakdown of everything that needed to be done. Unlike other shops, they really seem like they care about their customers and I felt confident that the work they told me needed to be done, actually needed to be done. Our service technician Aaron was especially great, and took excellent care of our car, its running like new now at 10 years old! 10/10 recommend this shop.

You pay a premium here, about 10-20% more than other shops. I opt to come here every time because of quality of work and service provided. I’ve never had lack of faith that my vehicle wasn’t addressed properly. Matt is an incredible representative who is not only knowledgeable on pricing and quotes, but also about the service actually being done, so if you have questions, he knows how the technicians worked on your car. Erin, one of their technicians, took care of my car and took me home after I dropped it off that night, free of charge. He does an incredible job. Let it be known that Ryan’s takes care of their employees well as well, so you aren’t paying for someone to perform cheap labor on your car. They start with taking care of their employees and that translates into excellent work and service. Could not be happier to have mechanical problems that I need solving just to experience the pinnacle of American small business.

UPDATE: The owner called and apologized for the difference in price from what I was quoted to what I actually paid. He is offering to refund the difference which is very admirable. Also, upon further investigation, I do not believe it was Ryan’s auto repair fault that the tire came off. It was perhaps due to the previous owner lack of tightening the lug nuts. I really Appreciate Ryan’s for calling me and also they offered to fix a part on my truck for no additional cost to me. Ryan’s is true to their word and values the work done right and value customer service. I would recommend them to family and friends! Ryan’s auto repair is very friendly and nice, however, I was told one price over the phone and when I went to pick up my truck they apologized and said that it was another price which was about $175 more. Also, I’m not completely sold on the quality of their work to the price factor. After getting work done because they were closest to my house, I got quotes from 3 different places and they all quoted me $200-$350 less than what Ryan’s charged me. Also, I had to take my truck back up immediately after I had picked it up because there were “new” odd occurrences in which when I drove it again after the second time, my driver side wheel popped off while I was driving!!! I chose Ryan’s because they had looked at another suv for me and stored it for a while without charging me anything so I thought that was nice and all. I’m not sure what to think but I will have to take my service elsewhere

The amazing customer service is what deserves these 5 stars. I got a free quote and diagnostic for my vehicle about 6 months ago and brought it in last week to finally make the reparations. Despite forgetting to do one thing, they got it done in a timely manor and done well. The part they forgot to fix was corrected almost immediately with no cost to me but the part it required. They picked my car from my work and dropped it back off before i clocked out. I will definitely be going back! Great pricing as well. Cost less than i anticipated!

Found out about Ryan's when I sold my car to a police officer who asked if I could bring it there to have them do a used car inspection. The guy I dealt with was James, very genuine and thorough. I've been back twice now and each time had a great experience. They gave me an honest opinion on what needed to be fixed at a very fair price. And speaking of that, an honest auto shop is pretty rare, and these guys are just that ... honest. I absolutely trust them. Bottom line is that I will continue to bring any car repair I have to them and highly recomend them.

Paul at Ryan's Auto repair, helped me out of a jam today! I was trying myself to rotate the tires on my Saturn, and it turns out, that the last person I had my car repaired by, put the lug nuts back on with an impact wrench... I couldn't get them to budge at all, in fact, I twisted my 4-way apart! I looked online, and found good reviews about Ryan's. And since I wasn't going back to the mechanic who did this to my car, I tried them. I explained to Paul that I just needed the lug nuts broke free, so I could finish the job myself. Paul helped me out right away. He got the lug nuts freed, a re-torqued them properly, with a torque wrench, unlike the last mechanic I used. And when I asked what the charge was, he told me not to worry about it! Most mechanics would not offer to do this at all. In fact, most mechanics would want the tire rotation job themselves, and probably fish for more work, once they get your car on a hoist.... Needless to say, I'm very impressed with Ryan's auto repair, and I will be returning there the next time I need a mechanic. Ask for Paul, he was great!

Like others here, I went to Ryan's based on all of the great reviews they've received. I must say I am am thoroughly impressed with their work ethic and quality. There is definitely a reason they are getting high praises on here! To be fair, I waited to post this review approximately 3 weeks after they had completed the necessary repairs on my truck (wanted to make sure everything was ok and needed no return to shop ordeals). As I mentioned above, their ethics are awesome.....they are not in the business of trying to sell you something you don't need....only what is necessary for safety. They will make recommendations , but won't jam it down your throat or make you feel like if you don't do it, your vehicle will fall apart! They recommended an induction service based on the mileage of my truck and gave me the benefits of doing so. It was completely up to me to do it or not and so I did. Wow! What a difference it made! The gas mileage is better and the pick up is better than when I brought it in. Just an example of a recommendation and not a "you better do this or your truck will blow up in the next few weeks". I will take all of my vehicles here from now on. It's rare to find an honest mechanic these days. Thanks Paul and everyone at Ryan's! You guys are awesome!

Ryan's is one of the Best Auto Repair Shops to go to. Super Excellent Friendly Customer Service, My Truck was completely repaired and ready the very next day, not to mention I had dropped it off just the night before while they were closed due to my work hours. They made sure my tires had the correct air pressure and that my fluids were filled, For Free! I Love You All at Ryan's Auto Repair. Keep up the Great Work!

Ryan's Auto Repair is top notch. I have been using Ryan's for years and have found their customer service to be excellent. Whether it is for my business vehicles, small engine or my personal transportation they always do a great job and back up their work. Recently I had my wife's car into the local Volkswagen dealer for some needed repairs thinking that because it's a foreign car the dealer would have been my best choice. Big mistake... After they charged me a $300.00 dollar diagnostic fee they tried to slap me with a $3000.00 bill for repairs that weren't necessary. I was so perplexed that I called Ryan's and explained my unfortunate situation. Randy and Paul told me not to proceed with the work and agreed to meet me at the dealer to look at the car. The guys from Ryan's were able to see what really needed to be done and pointed out to me all the unnecessary charges the dealer was trying to levy just to earn some extra bucks. That took some pretty big stones if you ask me. Ryan's took my wife's car and did a great job with the repairs. These guys can handle anything you throw at them foreign or domestic. You can trust Ryan's to do the right thing.
