Loved this place! First time here and will not be my last time! So many great finds! They have a little bit of everything! Great stuff for the holidays and home decor!

Bargain Barn only takes cash & checks. They have all kinds of stuff you need at a reasonable price. Work gloves, tools, housewares.....you name it. Some of my favorite purchases are a big crowbar for $15, and a fireplace poker for $6. I buy work gloves and blue freezer things here. They will carry fresh, local apples in the fall. Always a good deal at the Bargain Barn!

Lots to look at and buy at bargain prices! Cash or check only though. Which is a little inconvenient because most everyone now days uses debit or credit cards.

Incredible deals on quality tools & hardware. Cheapest quality bird seed I have found in Michigan.

This place is a fond childhood memory for me. Very interesting and unique place with just about anything and everything. When visiting as a child, there was so much excitement wondering what I was going to find here. Now with my own child I continue the tradition. He enjoyed it as well. Check this place out if you are heading that direction!

Have loved this store for many years. A hidden gem of the Manistee area. Just make sure you bring cash or your check book as they don't accept debit or credit cards.

Well, thos is one of the great little stop offs that go unnoticed as you are driving down the highway...but you can't really appreciate it until you stop in and wander around. I was surprised by the variety of items.

They have everything in here! Good deals and nice quality items. Just wish they accepted debit transactions, but cash only allows me to not over spend lol

This is a great to get just about anything from clothes, tools, hardware, home decor, dishes, lawn and garden stuff. I could go on but the best part is everything is discounted most stuff is at least 50%cheaper than at big box stores

The Bargain Barn is a fun, neat little place. They've got what seems to be a little bit of everything ? If you happen to be from out of town and you're visiting on a camping trip, they've got plenty of supplies should you have forgotten something at home. The prices are more than fair and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Nice store with a huge variety of items from hardware, tools, dishes and kitchen supplies, to non digital entertainment (Puzzle, word find, coloring books). Lots of unique stuff and bargain items. I hit this place up every year I go there. I once got a Fiskar Hatchet, brand new, for HALF of what other stores wanted. Totally worth the visit... my only complaint is they don't take credit/ATM cards.

Wonderfully helpful and kind employees. Major bargains on a whole lotta cool stuff. Including cute small pieces of furniture!! ?? Love this place!!! Great decorating ideas and doo-dads galore!

It has everything and it's great to go for camper supplies. Wish they'd get debit or credit already. This last time I had to put a few things back because I didn't have enough cash.

It is cash only, and they don't have an ATM. Apart from that, it is amazing. I find the most random cool stuff here. Awesome selection of tools, candles, kitchen stuff, organization goodies, all kinds of stuff. But if you see something you love, don't wait, get it now. Some stuff they have a ton of, some stuff quickly sells out and never comes back.

Love Townline for their tremendous deals. Always stop here first before heading to big box or other stores. As with any bargain store, selection and items vary every time but that's what makes it fun to go--often! Just remember no debit or credit cards accepted and check their profile for hours--vary by day and season.

Fun place to shop at! I always come in with an open mind! They have everything you can think of and more, so many different items. They only accept cash or checks though so make sure to bring more than your debit/credit cards!

We traveled over one hundred miles to visit this store, in hopes of an enjoyable outing and shopping experience. It was the first day of the mandated mask requirement and we dutifully complied. My wife asked to use the restroom and was curtly denied even though she explained it was urgent.. She then asked two separate questions about stock from two workers and both were very rude and grumpy. They answered with one word, yes or no. Several of these workers were wearing their masks improperly, exposing their noses. Now I am the first to say that the mask mandate is extremely uncomfortable, but I have some questions. If a worker is exposing their nose and refusing to follow the mandate,, it would be for comfort sake, the ability to breath freely. If a worker is feeling more comfortable, wouldn't they be more apt to be polite and friendly to their customers? If after wearing the mask improperly and the employees are still angry and rude, then shouldn't they wear the mask properly to at least attempt to follow the rules? When we walked up to the two checkout locations, my wife asked the clerk where we should stand in line. "Where the sign tells you to", she answered. My wife then expressed to the cashier that she had an unhappy experience with two of the workers in the rear of the store and that we traveled over a hundred miles to visit it.. She did not apologize or say, "Sorry to hear that". Instead she muttered, "Is that so." I went and checked out with the second cashier who was the only one who showed a friendly attitude throughout our visit. I told her she was the only congenial person in the store. She thanked me and we shared a few pleasantries. She is the only reason that Townline Bargains received any stars from me. I understand this is a trying time for all of us, worker and customer and patience is thin because we're feeling smothered. The businesses that overcomes that discomfort and still provides friendly service will be the ones that survive this crisis. Townline Bargains will probably remain open...but we will not bother to find out.

Wife enjoyed shopping here. She stayed until they were turning off the lights! Got some really good bargains. Always stop when in Manistee. It's a 2 1/2 drive back to home, so she takes advantage of the opportunity to shop.
