Update: They own their very kindly and respectfully reached out to me to ask if there was anything that could be done to keep my business.
Terrible customer service. I walked in at the same time as two other men. both other men went down isles to get what they needed. I walked straight to the counter to purchase a part from behind the counter. The employee behind the counter said it would be a minute He had to see what the other guy needed first (The other guy who wasn't in line walking down the isle getting what he needed). I was the only person in line in front of the counter, waiting politely. but he wouldn't wait on me. I silently left the store drove across the street to advance where I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door respectfully, kindly and waited on right away.
Typical auto part store. Had what I needed and I was able to borrow some tools to get the job done in the parking lot. Employees were all super nice and great. If in Manistee area again and need a car part, coming here!!
Have been a Reward member for several years but no longer. An employee at the Manistee/Filer Township posted a rude remark to me on Facebook, some one he knows was selling a vehicle and all I mention was a question in regards to the post.
He needs to know the consequences of his actions, his profile slows a photo of a retired black police car. Not understanding why he found it necessary to disrespect me.
Shame on him and his employer.
Oh, buying my auto parts across the street at Advance Auto Parts.

Pulled up...right away without needing to get out of the car saw 6 guys (workers and customers) throwing things in the store. Needles to say we didn't go in and went somewhere else.
My first experience at O’Reilly, NOT GREAT.. I needed a simple turning on both of my Rotors & keep in mind only one of my Rotors were not super great yet it was still safe enough for the time being. They told me it would take about an hour or so to get it done... 4 1/2 hrs later they finally finished it...and when I put them back on my vehicle, MY ROTORS ARE NOW FAR WORSE!! ..... I can’t even drive to work because of the conditions it is in.. apparently the same thing happened to my friend as well.
I won't go to another parts store. The two gentleman helped me immensely and bothered to identify the engine in the vehicle to ensure that it was the right size part that I needed. They made jokes and conversed politly while I waited for the part to be brought to the front.
These guys saved me! I had taken my 1972 Ford Bronco up to Manistee from Detroit for Labor Day weekend. As I was heading out of Manistee on Labor Day morning, I began getting a funny noise from my passenger rear tire. I stopped to inspect it and noticed that I had sheared all of my wheel bolts and lost all but one of my lug nuts!
I was able to limp to O'Reilly's. Kevin, the manager, was extremely helpful - he had all of the parts in stock, offered me a parking spot to make the repair, offered to let me borrow any tool from the store to do it, and even went so far as to help me with the repair. This was some of the absolute best customer service I have ever seen!
Granted, my holiday weekend would have been a little bit longer without them, but I was able to safely make it back home without any further any issues.

First few times I went here service was amazing. Friendly staff, knew what you were looking for and even offered other tips. Called today to see if they had a part in stock and got snapped at because I called the part by it's other name even though he still knew what I was talking about. Could have just said it's the same thing instead of trying to talk to me like I didn't know what I was talking about.
Amazing customer service. Very nice and helpful. We started out at the Advanced Auto across the street but due to rudeness and poor customer service we went over and asked O'Reilly for help and that thwy did.They were nice enough to come over to the Advanced Auto to jump our vehicle so that we could get it over to their store and give my husband enough direction to fix the issue in their parking lot. Needless to say thanks to O'Reilly my kids had a great day at the fair.
Jason was extremely helpful and saved us from wrecking our engine. The entire staff was very helpful and knowledgeable and really helped us we needed it the most. If your looking for the best service come here, the advanced auto parts across the street doesn't come anywhere close.
