I walked in just before closing with battery problems. The guy was patient and helpful. They had the new battery I needed delivered to the store the next day. When they realized a misunderstanding of the specific battery I requested, they reduced the price as a remedy. Awesome service. Will go again.
I have been buying a lot of parts from this place since the mid '90s for my shop, from engines to transmissions to brake parts, paint, S/K tools, etc. I replaced a transmission for one of my customers, one of Auto Values vendors, and within a year it developed a leak @ torque converter seal and several solenoid codes. After several weeks a replacement was ordered and I swapped the transmissions out and customer went on his merry way, but I never got my $750 labor claim and they refuse to pay! From Brad, well he was not motivated at all, then he quit and Brian took over the ordeal. Was told they never sent a transmission out. Well, had to prove that, which we did. Then Josh, comes by with paperwork and said sign and I will have my money in a week or two. I called Brian @ the Bearlake store and he said he is quitting and will send a memo to Terry since he is not going to be there anymore. Never heard a peep back. My shop has spent tens of thousands of dollars there. Unreal. NEVER AGAIN. Half star tops...
I recently was 400 miles away from home to see the fall colors in Manistee when my car broke down. I limped into this Auto value in downtown Manistee and experienced service not found often these days. Dave, the associate working that day went over the top helping me work through my problems. He steered me in the right direction and solved my problems and I was able to return home without further incident.
I highly recommend this establishment for your auto needs and will definitely drop in to say hi the next time I am in town.
The guys here are more than your standard parts store people, these are guys who live and breath cars, and because of such are very knowledgeable and are able to find hard to get parts
If you need Auto Parts brakes anything for your car or truck auto value is the place to go friendly courteous and pretty prompt and getting your parts if they don't have them in stock they can have them within a few hours prices are respectable just nice friendly atmosphere I've dealt with them for 10 years or more never let me down able to find me a old and obsolete parts
