Do not go to the store!!!! Very rude and prejudiced staff. I purchased wiper blades in April and the staff there refused to return or exchange them for me, even though they are still under a 90 day warranty. I was forced to buy new ones. They started yelling and disrespecting me. The lady wearing glasses was very rude and disrespectful and was smirking and being cynical to me. The staff of the store needs to be reprimanded and trained in basic customer service skills.

PWish I could put 10 Stars! I don't remember the young man's name but he was awesome. I live up north by Gaylord. Had to come down to Huron Valley Sinai for something tests. When I left my voltage started dropping, I have a new battery so I suspected the problem was the Ford over complicate things positive battery terminal. They had a comparable one. Only catch for once I had no tools. This employee brought me out some tools. One nut was slightly melted and it took forever to get it off. He helped me all the way I just want to say thank you.

Needed a replacement battery for my car, and Tina was friendly and helpful when I called the store to ask about battery services. When I got to Advance, Mike speedily hooked me up with a replacement battery. He then proceeded to install it - a ridiculously involved task - and register the new battery with my car computer. The service I got with this new battery was stupendous. Mike did such a great job that I will be shopping at Advance Auto Parts Novi for all automobile needs going forward. The service at this store is the kind that creates loyal customers.

Absolutely frustrated! Was greated by and mostly helped by a wonderful woman who was unable to fully assist because she was recovering from a recent surgery and her Manager was "helping with his dog" when I was leaving I seen the Manager Mike In the back playing a solo game of golf. Which isn't the first time but this is absolutely unbelievable! What is wrong with humanity. That woman was BY HERSELF because he was HITTING GOLF BALLS! 😠 😡 NOT OKAY!

I stopped into the Advance Auto Parts location in Novi, Michigan because one of my windshield wipers wasn’t functioning. I was about to get on the road and head back to Wisconsin in a snowstorm. Thankfully, Tamara was there to save the day! She quickly assessed what was wrong and got it working again. I’m so appreciative of the professional and helpful service. I was able to get home safely, thanks to Tamara!

Customer service in this particular Store is like no other... This is my first time in over 3 years buying from this location. The atmosphere and cleanliness is so much better . Highly recommend this store specifically. I've lived in this area for nearly 6 years and in that time, I've only used advance auto parts on Grand River for my diy auto care. Shout out to Tamara for saving the day for me. Our car needed a headlight. No biggie right? Wrong. 2 trips to Advance later, Tamara's assistance and patience got it done. Thanks!

Tamara is the reason I'm giving this place 5 stars. She helped me change my headlight and went above and beyond. Because I had broke the plug making in nearly impassable to get to. Also I have a nisssn Sentara sv. The headlights are very difficult to change to begin with and she made the whole experience wonderful was super patient with me and my mistakes. I will always come back to this store for any of my automotive needs. Thank you again Tamara.

Bought two O2 sensors for my car, one of them ended up being the wrong part. That's fine, it happens, no big deal. The guy who sold them to me has always been helpful. So I went back in to try and swap it for right part, I had to deal with a differant guy who told me "That is the right part because thats what the computer pulls up" but sure enough the square plug on the sensor doesn't fit into the trapezoid shaped plug on my car so how can it be the right part lol? He told me "This part is non refundable but that he would refund it this one time only because the part didn't look damaged" and not because I was sold the incorrect part lol. I ended up getting the correct sensor elsewhere within minutes. The worst part is I like this place, but now I'm also afraid that the one sensor that did fit the plug in my car is also incorrect I want to remove it and buy one from the other store I went to but because I've already installed it there is no way they will refund it.

Placed an order for pick up on Saturday and the web site says they are open until 9:30pm for pick up. I got there at 8:40pm and the sign in the window said it was open til 9pm.! Again, I was there at 8:40pm and the doors wee locked. I called and no answer and there were car’s parked on the side but nobody came….. I’ll get my parts elesewhere. I owned my own business for 27 years and several times on homecoming. The young man would forget to pick up his corsage that he ordered for his date, and I would stay late or I would deliver it to his house to make sure he had it because I knew it was important instead of just leaving it locked up in the store, and it was gonna be no good to him in two days

I had purchased a Die Hard Gold battery from Advance Auto Parts store, Novi, MI, almost 3 years ago. It came with a 3 Year replacement warranty and I had two more months left in the warranty. Today my car wont start up, and AAA gave me a jump start, they also did a battery health check showing a week battery and it needs immediate replacement. So I went to the Advance Auto Parts store, Novi, MI, talked to Mike K, and they performed a battery health check and it also showed the battery indeed is week and needs to be replaced. Without any hesitation they put a brand new Die Hard Gold battery in the car, and it costed me nothing. I am so happy and grateful. What a great customer service!!!! Thanks to Mike K and all other Team members in the store I would give A++++ rating to the Advance Auto Parts store, Novi, MI,

Was just here to order a battery, took an hour to finally get it after purchasing online. Not really a big deal, it told me I’d wait 30 mins so an extra 30 mins isn’t why I’m giving them two stars. I’m giving only two stars, because I used the battery sizing tool on their website… and after trying to install I find out it’s not the right battery. Not mad at them for that, and though the website did say the battery I purchased fit and it didn’t, it’s an easy fix and I still wanted to make the best of a bad situation. Now to the reason why I’m irritated. I’m back at the store currently and it’s 7:30pm, I’m already slightly annoyed because of the inconvenience, and I go pull on the door to go in and explain the issue, but it’s locked. Now, online it’s say you close at 9p and it says it on the doors, yet they’re locked. I can’t even swap it out for the correct one because everyone went home early for the day apparently. That’s unprofessional. 10-15 mins early is one thing, but an hour and a half? They get two stars only because the original representative who took care of me was professional and patient. Other than that, this has been a huge waste of time.

Came in on 12/29/2022. Tina H took great care of me - Customer service here is awesome. She offered multiple times to help find the right wiper blades, offered to put them on without hesitation and did a great job and in a great attitude. Thanks for taking pride in your work Tina, you rock

Store hours were just updated by the owner. Says online they are open til 8pm on Sundays. Drove up there 20 minutes to 6, they already locked their doors. Hours in the window say they are open til 6 on Sundays. Seems to me they don't value the customer. I'd recommend O'Reilly's, or Autozone.

Did an order at 630PM. Google and the website said the store was open till 9PM. Got there at 8PM (30min drive) and they have a little sign saying they close at 6PM. Alright no big deal. Got there the next day, ask for my order and they started to get all the parts. Told me that my front brake pads wasn’t actually in stock. I choice this location because it said it had all the parts I needed (front/ pads and rotors). No problem I’ll take whatever you got. Started to work on my vehicle and they sold me the wrong front pads. Little frustrating when you drive 30 minutes to find out it’s the wrong parts.

Andy and Marshall have greatly helped me out, my car engine light was on for two weeks or so and I couldn't figure out what was wrong. Went in and they helped me figure the possibilities. After, trial and error, and many returns, I got my car fixed.... hopefully. No engine light on and very helpful and respectful employees.

Went to replace my car battery this morning (09-Jan-2020). An elder person was trying to help me. He couldn't find the right battery on the shelf. So this younger guy comes and points to a battery in a flash of second. Younger guy said to the older person to first check if he can remove the battery. So we both go out and I can clearly see elderly person was shaking outside since it was 20 degrees. He was struggling to find the right screwdriver and also to unscrew the battery. Finally, after some time he could take out the battery. But, the new battery wouldn't fit - meaning the younger guy gave him a wrong one. So we go inside again and now younger one gave him another battery. So I whispered to the younger one if the older person can do it? and why can't he come out and install? For that younger one got extremely agitated... he started shouting rudely that if I don't like I don't have to buy there and started to raise his voice on me. Suddenly a new customer came and this guy cuts me off and talked to the new customer as if nothing happened. The younger guy doesn't have any respect or manners toward the older person. Above all, he told me (a customer) to buy some where else if I don't like the way they work. Giving 3 stars because the older person was a very nice person, otherwise I would be giving a 1 star. The younger one shouldn't be working there at all. Requesting the owner to take some action on the younger one.

Sarah is amazing! We were a good hour away from home and our truck started overheating. My husband is a mechanic and was able to determine the problem, but didn't have any of his tools with us. Sarah, the store manager, was so friendly and helpful. They have a toolbox full of random loaner tools that are available to use on site, which was very much appreciated. And they even hooked up a hose out back for us to use to spray down the engine compartment (coolant had sprayed all over). Overall, they made a very stressful situation a lot easier to handle. Thanks, Sarah and the rest of the team!

Went there for new windshield wipers, they quickly found the best priced and installed them before ringing me up. I gathered my other items and checked out. The girls working there were awesome! Made my son smile and I left with one too! Very clean store, fast and prompt service.

Outstanding service. I happened to find this store on the day that they were having their grand opening. I was greeted at the front door by Noel with a HANDSHAKE, a smile, and a warm welcome! He actually came outside and opened the door for me. I have never gone into any place of business and felt so welcomed and appreciated. Noel gave me a brief tour and told me what the best deals were for their grand opening. He was very friendly and helpful. When I had completed my shopping, Noel took it upon himself to take my order out to my vehicle and helped me load it into my car. I wish every experience was as great as this when you walk into an Auto Parts store, or any business really. Had I been unfamiliar with Advance Auto Parts, I would have thought Noel owned the store. I hope his service does not go unrecognized.
