For actually the 1st time in my life and I'm 63 years old. I found 2 angles that were the kindest and most helpful and sincere people I've ever met. I received not only an awesome deal, they went out of their way to bring me my new car as I had no way to get their. We've bought 3 Subarus from Bert in the past 10 years. Great cars, great condition, great prices. I wish we lived closer so we could get regular service done there as well. Bert knows every little Subaru quirk and affliction, and - as others have already noted - he and Sara are tops!
We have now purchased 5 cars from Bert. He has always treated us fairly. After a test drive if there was a question about the car he would investigate and correct the issue. Sara in the office is a sweetheart, pleasant, helpful and all around wonderful lperson. She has an infectious smile ☺️.
Bert has always treated me fairly and honestly. I originally purchased a 1999 Subaru outback station wagon for my mom back in 2009 and the vehicle was in good condition and passed inspection without any issues whatsoever. Bert offered a used car warranty however we never needed it because everything was as it should be when buying a used vehicle from a long established used car sales business. My mom had that Subaru outback station wagon for 10 years before she bought another Subaru. This business does specialize in Subaru's there so if you need used parts for a Subaru they most likely have it or they know where they can get it for you. I recommend buying a used vehicle from them. I am continuing to do business with Burt after 15 years. They value their customers and their customer loyalty.

I placed a $300 deposited on a 1999. Red Miata with some mild rear end damage directly dealing with the owner Bert, my first impression was he seemed like a very nice guy. I told him that it would be a while before. I came back to pick up the car. Cause I was 80 miles away. , his comment was no problem. No rush, I will keep it here as long as you need. 3 to 4 weeks later, when I called him to go back and pay the balance. He stated he sold the car to someone else. he didn't think I was interested, why would I put a $300 deposit on the car if I wasn't interested? I received no phone call, no message, no text. No letter to me inquiring when I was coming back. He just resold a car to someone else, which I was very surprised at.. we had a contract, bill of sale
and a cash desposit .. In the meantime, I incurred the cost of renting a car trailer to haul the Miata I had agreeded to purchase back to my home.. He told me through that initial last call just to text him. My name and address, and he'd send me my $300 deposit back, I mentioned if he was too busy I would take the ride to come get the deposit back , and also at that time he mentioned he may have another car to sell me in its place..I've been chasing him for 4 weeks without any response at all from him, just
to simply get my deposit money back.. for some reason hes just not responding. , I'm very, very surprised, because my initial judgment of him. That was that he was a very likeable person. But this is not how car dealers do business. I've spoken to his secretary who comes in part-time. She has all my information and no response as well.. I am truly puzzled..I really don't want this to become a Massachusetts State legal matter... he seems like he has a nice small simple business ..why would this guy want negative legal attention??
I went here and test drove a white Subaru outback while driving the airbag/safety light came on. He literally lied to my face saying the previous owner accidently tripped a sensor while deep cleaning the car. I also bought a 2010 toyota corolla from him and it died less than a year later. I've heard numerous warnings from surrounding car shops to NOT buy a car here. So that's what I'm telling my loved ones.

My experience here was amazing! I was looking for a 1st time car for my daughter and I saw a 2006 Toyota Matrix for sale on fb marketplace. I called i was told i could come down anytime. When i git there i was greeted immediately the owner showed me the car i test drove it and any concerns that i had at that time the owner immediately jump in the car with me drove it himself quickly told me what it could be i then called my mechanic and the owner was correct and the problem was an easy fix. So wat im trying to get at is if you want the real truth and great prices and let me not forget his assistant Sara she rocks!!!! She goes to the registry for you something they dont have to do. I highly recommend them if you want great service and the truth!
I was extremely interested in buying a car from them. after weeks of not getting a response on marketplace of a seller i went there and had them make an appointment with the mechanic to bring in the car for it’s little fixes, i called them back and they still hadn’t done it that day. when i went back the following weekend, the car still had not moved, there was no one in the office, i waited 15 minutes but there was no one being helped or attended to. they tried to sell me every other car on the lot and were overrall extremely unprofessional. do not do business with these people.
This is the 3rd car I bought from Sturbridge Auto Sales ,LLC. Mr. Cassim has always been right there for me with any problems I may have had. My latest purchase a 2010 Subaru Outback with only 49k on it. What a gem!! Also got full value for my trade. I highly recommend buying from this place.
Recently purchased a used truck from Sturbridge Auto Sales. They made the transaction very easy for us to do business with them. They took care of registering the vehicle during the pandemic which was a huge help. Bert went above and beyond to make sure the truck was in great running condition before it left the lit. if they kept their word instead of just keeping your money I would recommend them, however they will take your money keep your car defective, get their buddies to pass inspection on the car you buy, and stiff you with the repairs. I been waiting for over a month to get 2 simple tires and the hood fixed and a few other things, all I get is the run around and no returned calls , and believe me I have made multiple calls and they never answer or return calls, while they did fix most of the major issues they did not fix all the issues. , I give them a below average in ratings.
Doesn't appear to be overly concerned with holding up his end of agreements with customers.. Agreed to purchase a set of Rims and Tires from Him for 300 cash, and He said he would remove them from the junked car they were on and get back to me. a Month went by without hearing from him, only to then see him repost them online without ever even contacting me. Needless to say, I brought my Business elsewhere..
BIGGEST MISTAKE IN MY LIFE! My husband lives on disability income and couldn’t afford much for a car, but he badly wanted this used Subaru Outback that had low miles and looked good. I wanted to get him a car to keep him from having to borrow mine. But from seeing all the junk cars on the lot, and also seeing how the mechanics were slapping the parts together on other cars, I was immediately turned off. But this Bert guy drove a hard sale, telling us the car had one owner, from Arlington, where he said “rich people live and they take care of their cars!” Yah, ok, as if that was going to persuede me. So then he says he’d throw in an extended warranty for a hundred dollar value, which also did not impress me. I reluctantly succumbed to forking over $3000 in crisp $100 dollar bills because my husband so badly thought this was THEE car he wanted. Within 30 days the engine went. Bert said it was out of his hands and to go through the warranty company and make a claim, but the warranty company avoided our calls and put us off all summer (while we went without a second car) until they finally agreed to pay a small portion of the new engine one day before the warranty expired. Of course that salvaged engine wasn’t guaranteed and, sure enough, it didn’t even last 60 days. So we are left with a piece of junk that’s now on its third engine and has one problem after another. We’ve so far spent another $3 thousand on the car, which has spent more time in the shop than on the road since we bought it a year ago. And I constantly have to argue with my husband because he borrows my car almost every day while I go to work. I don’t know how these crooks can sleep at night knowing they are praying on people who are giving every penny they have for a dependable used car. This old Subaru has caused more financial hardship and strain on our relationship, and i now know we would’ve been much better off if we he had financed a newer vehicle from the get go. Now I just pray that some freak accident would just destroy the car so we can move on with our lives, because it is not a worthy car to sell or trade. I’m am so disgusted with Sturbridge Auto Sales (aka “The Subie Shop,” or something stupid like that). I wouldn’t even recommend this place to my worst enemy. DO NOT EVEN GO THERE!
The team is great they get you a great car. if you have problems after the team will help you great mechanics and sales men honest helpful, they gave me a great deal and helped me finance over time I paid for a car got the car I wanted it had one issue after it was sold they fixed it they are still helping me go to these guys.
