My sons and i belong to cub scouts, and we frequent Camp Norse for our scouting activities. Camping, BB, archery, sling shots, hiking are some of our memorable activities there. Our latest overnight on 11/16/24. Great for outdoor activities.
Great! Event many scouts look forward to each year. Happy to be apart as a Mayor... Scout skills this year! A unit built their tent in 5:08 minutes- not senior scouts only 3 scouts - very impressive. Communication skills were great with this unit. Congrats!!!!
Family camp weekend and summer camp. Excellent leaders providing great experiences for the kids. They really do put the effort in to get the kids involved, learn their names and build up the youth.
As a child in the 80's I attended Camp Norse and it is wonderful that I now get to see my children go. Many of the original structures are there with many modern updates and additions. I have fond memories of my youth there and I am so excited that my son and daughter will too. If you are looking for a camp that has the feel of the 80's but in a good, disconnected from the modern world, Camp Norse is perfect. Remember, Scouts is no longer boys only.
Spend a Week of Daycamp here with Pack 33 Attleboro. We had a blast. Swimming, archery, boating, BB Gun range. It was great for our Pack. Can't wait to go again.
Had a great day visiting Camp Norse. Was wonderful to see where my Dad went to camp and where my son might go when he gets a few years older. Very well maintained facilities, nice staff and volunteers, and an idyllic property. Kids caught several sunfish!
I've attended camp almost every year since I was a tiger scout. I have now worked there for 3 years and its still just as amazing as I remember. The scouts and families all have a great time whenever they're there. There isn't enough to say about how great this camp truly is.
Such great memories here when I was a kid. Staff were great, activities were awesome. Even the bus ride in the morning was fun with chants and songs. Every boy should have an opportunity to go here that is in Boy Scouts!
it is one of the nicest boy scout camp in this area they have a rifle range they have a beautiful fire pit a nice swimming area with a beautiful doc canoes break aunt just all around a beautiful Resort
We have attended the Narragansett Council's Merit Badge Mania 2018 program. Wonderful site. We are able to drive and unload the camping stuff right on the site, then we moved the vehicles out to the parking lot. This is very nice so we do not have to haul all the stuff from the far away parking lot. Wonderful program helps the scouts to earn up to 4 Merit Badges in one weekend. Nicely organized. Nice and clean toilets and to top it all hot showers are available all around the site with lights. Surprisingly the camp provides Wi-Fi and it reaches most of the places. Nice, friendly and experienced staff they made this annual program a great success in this camp.
