I have been using SSA for repairs and routine maintenance on various BMWs and Mercedes for 10 years. Recently, SSA completed a complicated repair on my Mercedes. The repair was completed on the agreed upon schedule and cost. Their shop is immaculately clean, well organized, and efficient. SSA seems to have all the appropriate tools, training, parts, and facility. The staff are friendly and approachable, always answering any questions or concerns. They provide progress updates by text, email, and phone as appropriate. SSA provided a loaner car for my use during the repair which was much appreciated. In summary SSA provides a lower cost, more user friendly, effective approach to car repair than auto dealers provide.

Great place to bring your foreign car for 5 star customer service and full transparency. SSA was up front with everything and gave me their honest opinion on what things were necessary vs what I could wait on. They also offer financing through Affirm, which can be very helpful, especially if you have good credit! I will absolutely be going back to have maintenance and repairs done at SSA.

My experience I had SSA was first class from start to finish. They hold their integrity to a high standard and work on their cars as if they were their own. I will definitely be going back for anything else, and I would highly recommend them for anyone seeking the best.

Went here for an oil change and control arm replacement front upper and lower... not only did I receive a discount coupon and a lower rate than other Mercedes shops, I was also graciously given a loaner for free... can't say enough about the service and quality here, my Glk350 feels better with a firmer and smooth ride after the repair as it was drifting and wobbling quite a bit before... they also have quite the facility and a spacious waiting area I was quite pleased with the whole experience! I have paid more at other Mercedes shops but neither was given a loaner or any extras that made me feel it was worth the money, this place is different and puts the customer first.

Always a great experience at SSA. They are knowledgeable and fast. Simply a fantastic group of people to keep your car in top shape. They keep my BMW in awesome shape!

The service at SSA was excellent! They performed a post purchase inspection. The results put my mind at ease on what work had to be done on my 911. Answered all my questions and Dennis was very friendly. I highly recommend SSA they are my go to shop!

I have brought my Volvo to SSA twice. Each experience was top notch. They treat you fairly and with respect. Details are sent to you via text or email, so you may review them. The prices are well below what I was quoted at my Volvo dealership. There is no hard sell if you decline something. I am thrilled to have found a fair and honest establishment to service my Volvo.! If you want your vehicle repaired correctly with the best customer service, SSA is for you! It’s a bit on the expensive side but nowhere close to dealership prices. They warrantee their work and every repair they make to my car is done better than the dealership. Highly recommend this place.

Went in for my regular oil change and filter. A nice waiting area with all the amenities. Been a long time fan and customer of SSA through my last two cars. They are doing a great job of keeping my E Class Mercedes running nicely.

Had a great experience. Would highly recommend. Great communication and quality work.As I have an older car, they were able to prioritize what was needed now and what can be chipped away at in the future. I will definitely be bringing my car back for more service.

This place is really unusual for a local shop. They were pleasant, efficient, knowledgeable, and able to solve a problem with my BMW for 1/10 the cost I had been quoted by dealer service. If you have invested in an Audi or a BMW, and you live in their area, they are a valuable resource

My experience was average. I took my car in for a turbo replacement, belt changes, and a few other things. When I went to pick it up, as soon as I started it, a “broken turbo” warning came up. I lost time and money going back and forth, and in the end, they told me it was because of an engine hose they didn’t notice at first — and they charged me again. It’s really a shame that this happened; for that reason, I’m giving them only 2 stars. The customer’s time is valuable, and the job wasn’t done properly.

I recently brought my 2014 MB E350 Wagon to SSA to reseal my front engine covers, as well as replace the front tie rod assemblies and replace the rear brake pad / rotors. Justin and his team treated me well, had the repairs done in 2 days and was reasonably priced relative to the local MB dealer. Will definitely return to SSA for future repair needs!

I’ve been bringing my Porsche to Justin and the team at SSA for service, and I couldn’t be more impressed. They specialize in foreign auto repair and truly know their stuff. The team is knowledgeable, transparent, and far more competitively priced than the dealership. Every time I leave, I feel completely confident that the job was done right. Totally impressed and happy with the service I received at SSA. I purchased a 1997 Aston Martin DB7 Volante in October 2024 for my wife as a present. It had been in storage for 10 years and the previous owner only drove it 300 miles during that entire time. Needless to say, it required a bit of work, which I initially had done at Aston Martin of Boston. After the initial service, we started to drive it a bit, and it started to have additional challenges. Rather than go back to Boston, I found SSA and am so very glad. They quickly diagnosed the problems which were a bad alternator and leaking rear differential. The alternator had to be rebuilt because they do not manufacture news ones. The rear differential needed new seals which took some time and effort. It needs some additional items, but nothing that interferes with its driveability or safety. The DB7 is now back on the road with no major challenges and we are enjoying driving it. I highly recommend SSA and will continue to use them in the future!

SSA was polite, professional, and clearly knowledgeable — they diagnosed the issue quickly, respected that the car was tuned, and didn’t try to upsell or overwrite anything. They actually worked around the tune, saved me money, and had the car back to me the next day. Communication was clear, the price was more than fair, and you can tell they genuinely know what they’re doing. Overall just an amazing spot — I’d recommend SSA to anyone looking for honest, high-quality work without the usual shop runaround

I’ve always gone to the dealership for servicing of my SAAB or my BMW. After meeting Justin, I decided to try SSA instead. From my very first experience, just setting up an appointment, I’ve been impressed. Very courteous staff, comfortable waiting area, a loaner if I need it. I feel very confident That my BMW will be well taken care of.

SSA South Shore did a PPI for a 2003 911 Porsche I was considering purchasing. The inspection was thorough and professional. I was taken out to the shop floor and the tech pointed out issues that should be addressed on the year and model of this 911 and on the car being inspected. Very happy with the process and I ended up buying the car. Happy Porsche owner!!

My first few services I would definitely give 5 stars. My last couple, not so much. There were some concerning issues that I wanted to talk to them about and asked to speak to the owner multiple times, but was unsuccessful to speak w him. The photos below are after one service for some work needed ($1800) and this is how I found my engine when I got the car back. Gaskets and filters just left on the engine block

Absolutely top-notch from the first phone call. They came highly recommended from my mechanic that does not fix BMWs. Marty and the crew were absolutely outstanding. I can’t say enough. SSA’s service and professionalism was incredible. They had my Tiguan fixed in record time allowing me to get back on the road for Christmas. In addition to being timely, they were transparent and thorough. There was no sticker shock, they were very reasonable in pricing. The mechanic who worked on the Tiguan introduced himself and walked me through what was done, what he found as well as recommendations regarding a thing or two I should monitor moving forward. I am so impressed with the service and grateful for their transparency. I fully intend to continue to bring my vehicles to them.

Jason and his team went above and beyond. My 993 needed a full engine rebuild (ouch)! His team worked with me every step of the way to make sure all the options were presented. His engine specialist broke everything down and rebuild. car feels great! Can’t wait to get past the 1k break in so I can get back to AX and track! Box of replaced parts and new look from below

Recently had an unknown coolant leak on my 750 xDrive, and when I was looking for leaks I ended up breaking a hose and causing a second leak! Staff was super friendly and helpful. I’ve been to many high end dealerships over the years, but SSA was by far the most informative and courteous, even more than the BMW dealerships! It was a quick turnaround even with ordering parts. They offered insight without pressuring me as a customer. Shoutout Sean L for the help, I’ll come back for all my future needs and Euro cars, and I’ll strongly recommend them! 10/10

Justin and his team have kept my Panamera Hybrid running smoothly. Services have ranged from preventive maintenance to hybrid brake change. The mechanics give you a 360 view of the condition of your car and the work they are proposing. In addition they helped out with winter tire choices and did an autocross safety check at the start of this season! Great to have a team who shares your passion for auto sport and driving!

Had work done on my 2004 Mercedes SL500. Experience was great. Highly recommend SS Autoworks. Was able to communicate directly with the mechanic and he walked me thru everything. We identified work needing immediate attention and other items that we could schedule later. He troubleshooted an issue that my dealer had failed to figure out for years and solved it. Great service. Price was fine. Communication excellent.

My first visit with South Shore Autoworks was phenomenal. Super clean facility, I had a full 4 wheel brake job on my Audi, new tires and a 4 wheel alignment. Wayne in service is great to work with and Josh the owner is a great guy too. There is a nice big window between the lobby and the shop so you can see what’s going on inside. The shop is immaculate and well organized. You can clearly see that the technicians are working hard on the various cars in the shop. They were prepared at checkout with other service recommendations that included a detailed cost estimate for the work that was recommended. I will be back for sure.
