First off--Advance has DieHard batteries! I only learned this in the past year or so, and it's great news.
I'm so glad I went to this Advance Auto location. I'd been told by another one nearer to me, over the phone, that I needed to be there in daylight--which I was unable to do with my work schedule, and I really needed a battery. So I called the Hanover location, where I was told I could show up at a time in the evening when someone could install the battery.
I did not get the name of the woman behind the counter who initially started helping me when neither of us could be sure whether our locally purchased Honda had come from Canada; she got out the US battery, and based on the size, it turned out that the car has a Canadian battery after all! She processed the return and swapped it with the right battery and was setting up to install it, and then a man named Paul arrived, who said he would be glad to install it because he didn't mind the freezing cold (!). He got the old battery out and the new one in, and the car is running great.
Big thanks to both of them! This will be my go-to place for automotive items from now on.

Sure hope there was no confusion. But I was very happy and satisfied with the service that still gave me. They don't ignore you you walk in and help you every time. That means a lot they did not hide behind any computer terminal.. extremely helpful location for the do-it-yourselfer assistance.
I just bought a battery for my 2010 F150, the tech ran into a little trouble with a rusted hold down bracket but, he stayed on it. Replaced the battery and the hold down bracket. I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Advanced Auto in Hanover,MA

The attendants are so awesome,it was my first time there but it seems we knew each other,their,approach was great,they help me get what I want fast. And the discount price was huge. Best Auto parts store
The guys, at least the ones I have dealt with, are personable and knowledgeable. When I ordered a part online to pickup in-store it was ready when I got there.
Takes too long to get in and out of here. I still favor Advance Auto Parts over Auto Zone but i would rather go to their weymouth location. This smaller hanover store with it's low ceiling reminds of the CVS in hingham on south st.
Smaller store but still has a large stock up back. They'll help you install small quick fixes too like headlight bulbs, batter changes and tests, and wipers.
I received the most unfriendly, unhelpful service that one could ask for. The lady behind the counter was rude and clearly did not want to help or answer a couple questions that I had. They were all out of a product that I needed and she sharply said that she couldn't order a new one and that I was out of luck. Too bad. I'm not sure how they stay open.
